I have taken both a live and an online class at Give Rise Studio and its a gem of a find! I previously took a class on cookie decorating... but have wanted to sign up for several of the other offerings like learning to paint my pet or paper flower making. While we are under stay at home orders, Give Rise has been doing some online yoga offerings and instructions. They have also been doing kits for at home crafting that seem incredible! I truly think Give Rise is a great resource for the community and showcases amazing talent. I cannot wait til things are back to normal and I can come in for another workshop!

I started sewing with Beth about seven years ago. She has taught me SO much! I have made gorgeous…read morejackets, coats, suit jackets, bags, blankets and so much more. One of my favorite things about her, other than she is an enjoyable person to be around, is her ability to problem solve. Because I am always changing patterns last minute or making mistakes or using fabrics not recommended for particular projects and she is just cool, calm and collected and gets my project to where it needs to be. Beth has taught me how to finish my projects like the high fashion and couture designers. I need my fabric patterns to match and she is so patient and meticulous with the details I obsess about. I absolutely love sewing, thanks to Beth. Her studio is my home away from home.
