Four Years Later…read more.. The Chicago Organizer is still great at helping me get all of my stuff organized and manageable! After I moved house, I had so many rent-a-crates to unpack and return very quickly. I felt overwhelmed and couldn't move two feet without hitting a box, and unpacking by myself was too slow. I contacted Terri again. Terri couldn't come out to personally help me within my limited window of time, but she has fantastic team members. Kammy came to help me, stayed for just under five hours, and we unpacked every rent-a-crate plus all of the cardboard boxes! There is a little left to do in order to make my new place feel like home, but Kammy's help means that 95% of the work is done. I am so pleased with The Chicago Organizer. Idaho (our dog, a rat terrier) LOVED her immediately (and he is picky about his humans. She took him for long walks, to the beach, and sent us lots of photos and messages detailing their adventures. I actually think Idaho was a little sad when we came home and he had to leave Heidi's lovely apartment! 2) Heidi did such a fantastic job of taking care of Idaho that we asked her to serve as the Day-of Coordinator for our wedding this past month. She did an amazing job!!! Even though we had really just hired her to coordinate things on the day of the wedding itself, she gave us help and support from day one. Her enthusiasm was infectious, she was wonderful at brainstorming solutions to problems, and (thanks in part to her years of experience in the hotel industry) she thought of all kinds of details that we ourselves might have missed. She was a rock of support on the day itself, and she worked extremely well with vendors, support staff, caterers, and my various family members. She even thoughtfully phoned the hotel where we were staying for the night and got us an upgrade to a business suite! Throughout all of our dealings with Heidi she has been extremely responsible, reliable, supportive, and a great communicator. What a relief it was to have someone like Heidi helping me out from start to finish. The job turned out to be a little bigger than I expected. But Heidi was super helpful, dependable, and flexible. This work involved not only doing some leftover packing, but working with the movers, storage location, and the cleaning service. Cannot imagine how challenging and nerve-racking this all could have been had I ended up having to work with someone else, or more likely - a few someone-elses :) Heidi kept me up to date each step of the way with texts and photos when appropriate. She provided me with detailed invoices so I knew exactly what I was paying for. And most importantly to me, she reached out when questions arose - which was inevitable with this type of situation.
