If Mission 2 Organize is on a mission to change lives, then consider it 'Mission: Accomplished' (for me at least, and for everyone I have already referred them to)! Which is why I am here: to yell my praises from digital mountain tops! I was (very generously) gifted an early Christmas present from my mom of a full day/organizing session with M2O... AND IT WAS THE BEST GIFT I EVER RECEIVED! It is truly the gift that keeps on giving. **Hint hint, people- Christmas is less than 3 weeks away, if you are struggling for ideas. ;-) Schae and Britney were spectacular! They rolled into my place like two boss ladies ready to get down to business (but not in a scary way lol)! They put on a fun playlist and took charge, which is what I like and needed. They let me help (obviously not required, but desired on my part to learn) and taught me helpful tips and tricks along the way to maintain the organization. Best of all, they knew how to prioritize my projects in the order that made most sense, and maximized efficiency and my time with them. Not a minute wasted and no stone (aka leftover crap I didn't need anymore) left unturned! AND, like, how helpful and convenient it is that they haul away as many donations for you as they can when they leave?! At the end of the day (literally), I had the best nights sleep that I'd had in years, knowing that there was (finally!) a place for everything and everything in its place. Not only did M2O grant me peace of mind, they motivated me to keep going and see what I can accomplish on my own with what I learned from them. And the productivity levels on all the DIY projects I've set aside over the years are through the roof! My home office (7' x 8') started as a catch-all for anything I didn't want to deal with but morphed into a mini-episode of "Hoarders". It was so overwhelming, I couldn't get started so I hired M2O to come out to tackle that room. Three organizers showed up and tackled the room and now I can actually use it. They were very friendly and efficient and ended up taking out about five bags of garbage but also everything I tagged for donation, so I don't have to be bothered with taking it myself, something I am grateful for. I will likely hire them again to tackle my kitchen cabinets. Important things to know: -You can book everything online. The online form will ask about the space, what you're hoping to get out of the session (are you moving? Renovating? Organizing a disorganized space?). There's a place for you to upload photos as well, so if you're booking, I'd take pictures and measurements before you sit down to fill out the form. -They have a three-hour minimum for bookings -They can accept Zelle and Venmo -They won't clean the space unless you book a cleanout (such as when you're moving house) -I bought a box of 50-gallon Hefty bags in anticipation of their arrival and I'd advise that for anyone who hires them, even if you don't think you'll need them. Clara, Melanie, Chloe I could not say better things about Mission 2 Organize (M2O). First thing the communication is great from the start, they lay everything out via email. No hidden fees, they tell you what you are getting, the pricing, etc. I Was prepared for my project so I had already purchased bins, bags, etc. i think that is something you can do through them if you'd like. Second, something that was important to me is that they were kind, compassionate, friendly and non-judgmental. I have been so embarrassed about how "bad" I let my space get and the first day Melanie and Chloe came in judgement-free and explained how we can tackle it all. My project I decided would definitely need to be broken up into more than one session. But what they can accomplish in the few hours they are there is amazing. They are efficient and organizing rockstars, they get right down to it. I'm not just talking about their ability to clean and organize. They had great ideas to better utilize my space. They helped me organize 3 closets that highly highly overfilled and disorganized. We even talked about future projects if I wanted. They never pressured about spending more time/money, they give you great time estimates for how long the project would likely take. The prices are definitely reasonable for the amount of work they do. They helped me purge so much and I am so grateful. Another thing that was great is they never threw things without discussing it with me. They would make piles of things for me to look through to make decisions as they kept organizing, I found that really awesome. They even take out the trash you purge and take the donations they can at the end of each session. This is a huge help because it was a lot of stuff. They are adamant about leaving the place better than it was. We even had made task lists of what we needed to do the second time even before I scheduled it. I truly appreciated the follow up. And I appreciated them making sure that everything was to my liking before leaving on the first and last day. On the second (last) day, I had Clara and Chloe to finish the project. I will say it was great to have someone who was there the first day because we could just jump back into the project. Chloe knew exactly where we needed to start and they jumped right in. We were able to finish four closets (2 hallway closets, 2 bedroom closets, under the bed). They built two shelving units for me, I mean they were incredible. The labeled everything which is a organizer's dream. It was amazing. As a very anxious person, this project was so overwhelming to me that I couldn't tackle it on my own. I am a world-class procrastinator. 8 months after moving in, there was still a wall of boxes in the middle of my bedroom. It looked like an episode of horders. Only the closest friends were allowed to come over, and I appreciate them for not suggesting I was insane. I was overwhelmed about where to start, so I just tried to keep it out of my mind. I'm so happy after my first appointment with M2O. We accomplished so much more than I ever thought was possible! For my first session, I decided to focus entirely on clothes and shoes specifically in my bedroom and closet. I have a great apartment with tons of space but very little closet space so... it had gotten out of control. I was so embarrassed at first, but after recently filming an episode of Hoarders, Schae and Bahar assured me they had seen much worse. As we sorted through all of my clothes, they encouraged me to start thinking about items I wanted to donate. Even though it is a service that is included, I somehow missed it on their website- but it's true- M2O takes ALL of your donations with them at the end of your appointment! It was such a huge stress reliever! And there was no opportunity for me to dig through the bags after they were gone so I couldn't foolishly talk myself into keeping stuff. There is a two hour minimum for both organizers to "O your home" at $75 per hour. While I feel this rate is extremely reasonable given the level of service and expertise, it was still a bit of a stretch given my current budget. I cannot stress this enough- it was worth every penny and more. Plus, I found so much stuff with tags still on that we matched up with receipts so I've been on a return and exchange spree all week and have basically made my money back. Now that Schae, Bahar, and Suzie have reorganized and decluttered every single space in my home, I'm sitting down to write a review the same night. It feels good to check (sorry girls, not chuck), one more thing off of my to-do list. I've used professional organizers before, so I know how the system works, and I don't think that I'm the easiest of clients. I have very high standards and was already pretty decently organized. This time around, I wanted more than the standard purge/sort/recycle. I really wanted to take things to the next level of organizational precision. After interviewing about a half dozen organizers, I settled on M2O. Easy personalities, friendly, and very reasonable price-wise. I also really like the fact that they always bring two organizers... it really speeds the process along tremendously (something I learned the first time around). 3 full days later, and every space in my home -- kitchen, 2 bathrooms, entry closet, linen closet, office closet, master closet, and laundry room -- has been turned upside down, shaken, and put back together into beautiful, organized nirvana. From our initial phone consultation, Schae asked me about a shopping list for containers from the Container Store. I wasn't so sure about this idea, but she seemed pretty confident from the dozen snapshots that I sent her about my style and quantity they would need, and figured I'd let her give it a try. I'm not going to contain my excitement about these purchases any longer... they are AMAZING. Seriously, worth the money, and Schae nailed a great look for my place. And, there were only about 6 items left to return when we were through. That's skill. If you're not taking advantage of this aspect of their service, you are seriously missing out. One oddity of M2O: they require a 15 minute paid break per 3 hour block. It's an 8% rate hike, effectively, but it wasn't communicated to me in advance so I though it was a bit of a bait-and-switch to spring it on me at the onset of our first session. Still, their rates are quite reasonable so I didn't mind doing it (and they worked hard), I just wished it had been part of their initial disclosure. OK, that's it. Some said they thought my job was a cleaning job (it was not) and M2O, instead of assuming, asked me outright what kind of job it was. McKenzie was great on the phone AND in person. Both her and Behar worked for me on what was technically their day off, but they must have known that I was desperate. Everything was done cleanly and professionally. They showed up with masks and gloves. They got more done in three hours than I've gotten done in weeks. Now are they expensive, yes, but you have to consider what they get done in the time frame. I'm trying to get my house decluttered to get it ready for selling and I have spent countless hours trying to sort and get rid of stuff.
