I first contacted Luis to ask him if he could pick up an old couch. He got back to me right away and gave me a very reasonable price. After agreeing on the price Luis told me he was available right away and showed up within the hour. Once he showed up I noticed some other stuff that I forgot to mention, but he told me as long as he had space he would take it. I only added maybe two or three other things and we stayed in the same price point. Second time I contacted him I decided this time I wanted to get rid of a lot more things, so I asked him if he could bring an empty trailer. When he showed up this time, I just started going through anything I didn't want from old shoe racks, a dying tree, two more couches, a hammock, some bird houses, old pots, etc. I just started tossing everything in there, and sure enough, I ended up filling the whole trailer. I paid a bit more for the second haul, but that was understandable considering how much they hauled off. Overall my experience with Delgado Hauling has been great. Moving sucks. My wife and I had a bunch of cardboard boxes that we had been working to break down ourselves, but we eventually decided we would hire someone to take care of it. Luis responded to my request quickly and provided the best estimate. We had some difficulty with scheduling, but that was mostly down to my schedule.
