My first meeting with him was different than with any other caterer: he spoke with me and my mom and was clearly very passionate about the food itself! (Amazingly, I didn't get that vibe from any of the others I met with). We talked through many options and what would be best for the event and the guests coming, during that meeting and afterward, to make sure we had the right menu. I also got to taste test almost everything that I had actually chosen (not just any samples from his menu) and was impressed even with that. One very important thing was the fact that Steven was extremely willing to accommodate dietary issues. I had two friends attending the wedding with severe food allergies (both different ones), and without hesitation, Steven offered to custom make each of them a plate to avoid any cross contamination. No other caterer that I spoke to was willing to do this, but it made all the difference for my friends who were able to enjoy the wedding without worry. Finally, I can't stress enough how good the final results were. I got so many comments during the wedding - even from people who aren't foodies like me and wouldn't normally comment on food - telling me that it was the best and healthiest food they had ever had at a wedding. I would have to agree. It takes a lot to pull that off for a large group of people, but Steven's did it beautifully and very kindly. I would recommend Steven's to anyone!

It looked like the Kroger wraps I used to get for lunch. Biting into it let me know that it was 3x better. Very fresh and very tasty. I had the southwest chicken. The bacon was crispy and chicken was good. Sauce was also good. It come with a pickle wedge as well. The boxes were also the most sturdy take out boxes I've ever felt. This place is worth a try.

The pork tenderloin was juicy and grilled to perfection; the chicken was marinaded and tender enough to cut with a fork. All the sides were perfect too. I had many guests complimenting the chef! Rhonda was always extremely quick to respond to questions, requests for menu changes, etc. She was also very patient. I'd never ordered catering an event before, and she spent quite a bit of time helping me find the right balance of menu items and services. On the day of the event, Creative Cuisine sent Sam, who was at the venue and ready to go well before guests started to arrive. She'd set up a very attractive display table for the food, complete with some decorative pieces to accent the buffet stations. She also worked with me throughout the evening, happy to accommodate any desired timing for having different courses ready. Our guests raved about the taste and quality of the food. If you're looking to cater an event around Columbus for a group of any size, I highly recommend Creative Cuisine Catering. Great food and service!

They have a variety of different foods from Asian to American Comfort and a lot in between. There are signs for the "cafe", that's where you're trying to go. If you're not inside the statehouse already, you do have to go through security/metal detectors to get in but it doesn't take too long. You'll find the little cafe ordering area with the menu and specials before you walk in to order. I got the charred chicken bowl... it was sooo good. Chicken was delicious, corn was sweet, tomato dressing was refreshing, I loved the pickled onions and the dressing. The bowl was a bit pricey at $9 but it was a good amount of food and downtown so it's not surprising. I would absolutely go back and try everything else they have to offer.
