His family has owned a number of restaurants and he decided he wanted to try his hand at a Food Truck. They have a very limited menu to begin with testing the interest of the customers. They're smoking with hickory and apple wood. I ordered The Squealer. A pulled pork sandwich with onions and Smokin Sweet sauce. It came with chips and a drink. The pork was a bit dry BUT had a ton of flavor to it. I will definitely return when they get a full menu going. At first, I stood in what appeared to be the only long line at the whole event because I was hoping to try their wings. Unfortunately, they were sold out by the time I got there, so I moved on and tried three other locations while searching for that real Fourth of July backyard BBQ flavor. I was not successful. As I was heading toward my fifth stop, the grill master, Boston, called me over and told me I needed to get back in that long line because I was about to miss out on something good. I reluctantly followed through, and I am glad I did. The meat had flavor, tenderness, and that true BBQ taste I had been looking for. Their Carolina Gold BBQ sauce was especially tasty and stood out the most. The other sauce was more average, but the overall plate was still good.
