This place is so good! The food is always incredible and the waiters are super super sweet. The waiters are very attentive and make sure you feel welcomed which I love. Coming to this place is definitely a great experience for everyone I bring here amazing amazing amazing!

Thanks Miguel and the entire Las Delicias crew for being such a gracious host last night for the 10 th annual Hyde Park Main Streets Carol Crawl. The food spread was over the top per usual and the party was turned up high ! The empanadas and tostones are always my fave but your culinary skills have been showcased off menu as well with the many buffet dinners you have provided the Hyde Park Board of Trade. You definitely attracted some new patrons from the crowd last night Miguel !

Came in on a whim and I'm glad I did. Marcella was very nice and since it was my first time there, she made some suggestions. I went with all her suggestions including the lychee sangria! Omg you would not be disappointed. It is sooo good and light as well. You can definitely taste the lycee which I loved. The only thing I would suggest if they added fruit or some real lychee on top to make it more eye candy. I ordered takeout so I had the drink while I waited. The food was good also. I ordered the huevos rancheros and the casuela tradicional. Overall, would come back and try other stuff. Also a plus is the free parking in the back

    Paisa and tilapia

Delicious food! Tried the paisa and the tilapia. Both were amazing and the servings are quite large. One dish is like two servings. Meat for both was so tender and well-seasoned. The yucca and fried plaintains were heavenly too. The ambiance was casual and comfortable. The waitress didn't speak much English, but we still managed to communicate well! We also tried the soya y mango smoothie and a coffee. Not much mango flavor in the smoothie, but still refreshing. Coffee was fresh and dark. Would definitely recommend! We even got a pollo dish and a coffee to go.

I'm not a Boston native, but this dining experience definitely made me want to move here…read more My family and I visited Capricho to celebrate my graduation after stumbling upon it the night before while having dinner across the street. We're so glad we decided to come back for such a special occasion. The atmosphere: Capricho has a charming and cozy dining room that creates an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place that feels perfect for celebrating special moments with loved ones. The food: We were welcomed with complimentary plantain chips served alongside a light, fresh dipping sauce, which was a great start to the meal. My table opted for the prix fixe menu, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. For starters, we ordered the Papas Rellenas and Yucca Croquettes. Both were light, flavorful, and paired beautifully with their accompanying sauces. We also added the Charred Octopus, which was incredibly tender, not chewy at all, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I chose the Steak Frites, served with brussels sprouts and fries. I'm usually not a fan of brussels sprouts, but these were crispy, airy, and perfectly seasoned. The steak was cooked well, and while I enjoyed the dish overall, I do wish the fries had been cooked a bit longer, as they were slightly underdone for my preference. For dessert, I tried the Dulce de Maracuyá, a panna cotta-style dessert featuring mango and passionfruit flavors. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated, and the bright, fruity notes provided a refreshing end to the meal. The service: The service was fantastic. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and our server brought such great energy and personality to the experience. The hospitality felt genuinely personal and made our celebration even more memorable.

We had overall a great experience, the chorizo appetizer was by far our favorite and my husband (who is Colombian) said it tasted just like home. My only critique is that I wish they would lean more into the Colombian taste profile with some of their menu items (like the steaks). Theres a lot of American restaurants and pubs in the area and this would definitely stand out more!

Chicharron was great. - Arepa: looks like a tortilla, so not the typical thick arepas I'm used to. So felt like I paid $8 just for a tortilla and small block of cheese - Tostones con guacamole: I prefer my tostones to be crispier, but they had great taste. - Cazuela de Mariscos: Great flavor. I put it on top of rice and enjoyed it with the other food, otherwise too heavy/dense on it's own. I didn't enjoy the mussels (I love mussels). They were too gritty.

Doesn't have that rough Spanish restaurant vibe you sometimes get in Chelsea or East Boston. Much more upscale. People like that. The servers were very nice. Helpful, attentive, really great. Now, the runner who brought the food didn't seem to be in the best mood. That's alright. It happens. Prices were decent. The menu offers a lot, from full Colombian appetizers to full meals. Even has a kids section. My son ordered chicken wings and French fries. The chicken wings were delicious, juicy, perfectly done. For appetizers we had fried cheese with pineapple sauce and fried plantain with shrimp in a criollo sauce. Delicious, really fantastic. My wife ordered the sancocho de res, and she totally enjoyed it. I ordered a mixed plate with white rice, beans, tostones, onions, peppers, beef, and shrimp. Absolutely incredible. The tres leches was also terrific. Very well done. But then a group of six rowdy individuals came in. Completely destroyed the nice, chill mood. Total disaster. They were animals, folks. Total animals. Loud, obnoxious, so bad that a table of people actually decided to move completely outside just to get away from them. That's how disruptive they were. At that point, an employee should have stepped in and said, "We're glad you're enjoying yourselves, but there are others here trying to enjoy their meals too." It was out of control. Overall, a strong 4.6 stars.
