Great service for our large group-attentive, timely, separate and correct checks, fun and friendly-pretty amazing really. The margarita was also pretty fantastic! My dinner (sausage and fries) was fine, but again it's not really my thing-everyone there enjoyed what they got, so it is good food. And at the end of the night they brought out shots of the house tequila and we got our party on. I can definitely see why it's so popular.

Felipe and Margarita were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the fact that they speak English was a huge plus for me since my Spanish is limited. The Spanish Sangria was refreshing and a delightful change from what I'm used to--highly recommend it! We started with the Mixed Ceviche (Fish & Shrimp), which featured fresh pear slices--a pleasant surprise that took it to the next level. I almost didn't want to share it! The guys had the Beef Tenderloin, served with a to-die-for mushroom gravy and cooked to perfection. The Brisket was a surprising standout--possibly the best I've ever had! Both dishes came with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes, all expertly prepared. We ended the evening with their homemade Banana Cake and an Ice Cream Boat--the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. Reasonably priced and such a wonderful experience. Felipe is a great chef, and his wife Margarete a very good pastry chef. And they are both very pleasant people. Dinner can be eaten on the patio overlooking the water. Felipe's Grouper Omah(his mother's recipe) is delicious, as are the coconut shrimp (huge, best on the island) and various other things on the menu. Margarete's chocolate cake is divine. Good wines. Good selection of fruits and vegetables - we love the guavas, mangos, and carrots the most! They taste so fresh and more flavorful than what we get in the US. Decent selection of meat, dairy, snacks, cereal, etc too! They have a bakery (with fresh tortillas), pharmacy, a touristy area (bathing suits, shirts, souvenirs, etc), and an area that has prepped food items. They also have a decent alcohol/beer area. Prices are way better than what they charge at the hotel (though you're likely paying for convenience there). Highly recommend this treat to pick up items! This is on the top floor of a shopping mall, though the mall itself has few store these days.
