I really love their whole body understanding. I've never been to a dentist that has that perspective and it's so refreshing. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was the easiest, most comfortable teeth cleaning I've ever had. Every time I have gone to this dentist office there is a new front desk staff and they continue to get less and less professional which is a shame because the dentist and hygienists are great! Recently I attempted to reschedule an appointment that was canceled on me and the girl kept mixing up her dates and times and seemed very unfit for the job. I decided to call back and try again another day to have the same thing happen again. She couldn't get her dates and times right and she was acting as I was bothering her trying to get specifics. I drive over an hour to get there and cannot risk an incorrect date or time to show up and be told I don't have an appt. The last time we had cleanings they were an hour behind . I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. The front desk is completely unorganized. read more

What a great experience! It's always uncomfortable finding a new dentist but everyone was so friendly and informative my initial visit was a breeze. I went in for scaling and root planing and my hygienist was phenomenal!!! I had some difficulty with my insurance but in no time the lady at the front desk had the issue resolved. We moved back to Summerville last year and one of the worst parts about moving is finding new doctors. I knew I wanted a more holistically minded practice as well as one that is able to see my young kids as my eldest daughter was due for her first dental appointment. I had done a little bit of research online already but happened to bump into the Delite staff at the table they'd set up at the S'ville Farmers Market. So, I grabbed their card and then called later the next week to get scheduled. We were able to get back-to-back appointments for myself and my daughter and they went great. The staff was extremely patient with us (I had to bring both my 9mo old and my 3 year old by myself) and were very accommodating to us. They have blankets and a few things around to distract kids with. They even have TVs on the ceiling which is such a great idea. My daughter just watched Powerpuff Girls while she was on the chair. The assistant, I think Amanda is her name (sorry, I'm bad with names), is so nice and she's SO good with kids. I never once have felt like I was being sold to or like they were trying to scam me or rip me off. The staff and doctors were very patient to answer all of my questions (I always have a lot). Additionally, and in my mind the most important factor, Drs. Kim & Lee do have a holistic view on dental care so are open to discussions about ways to take care of your mouth other than modern dentistry/medicine. For example, they carry Young Living essential oils and toothpaste, they don't push flouride on you like many other dentists, and they talk about the importance of nutrition on dental health. I need to get a few fillings soon (sad face) and they printed out a projection for what to expect regarding out of pocket cost vs. what insurance will cover. Apparently they are bringing an orthodontist on staff soon so will be able to offer orthodontic services in the future. I'm not sure what being Korean has to do with anything, I don't know why the other reviewer felt that was a necessary thing to point out. If anything, being Korean is an advantage since Koreans tend to have high work ethic and standards. read more

This was my first time coming into this dentist I was referred by my orthodontics Grosso orthodontics in summerville.. thinking they knew what was best I called to pre schedule an appointment to originally have a consultation about my lower left fractured moeler that had declined caused by severe damage due to a former dentist that drilled a filling too close to the nerve. When I walked into this place at first I was impressed by the superficial appearance of the place it was very clean, and high tech with I tablets to fill out your information instead of using paperwork however I did find it alarming that they requested your drivers license but now I see why it's because they are a rip off. Prior to my service I was informed that my consultation would be only $70 then after observing my tooth they said oh well in order to remove your tooth it will be $260 the dentist was korean with most korean staff except the manager...I about choked when I heard the cost for the extraction but some how like a trooper I still proceeded because it needed to be done but I was thinking we'll since according to "Google" they are 5 star maybe they could work with me since it was my FIRST visit. I was mistakenly wrong instead they took advantage. The dentist numbed my tooth then, pulled my stubborn moeler tooth out and gave me some gauze. I asked if I needed any antibiotics to maybe prevent any potential internal infection from the filling he said no there is no infection reflecting on the Xray that all I needed was Ibprophine. He didn't even write me a prescription for the Ibuprofen instead he just sent me on my way to check out. Later I relized my form of payment thru care credit wasn't accepting of that balance at that time in which I'm now thankful since it's outrageous for one tooth to begin with. This Balance needs to be disputed... Well as if scams couldn't get worse the manager then held me up like a hostage refusing to let me go to work treating me as if I planned to rip them off..She didn't even offer any discount in which I felt shocked considering my health insurance is pending.. After being held like a hostage I finally started to lose my temper and it don't look good when I'm pissed I have no filter and will embarrass the crap out of someone... So it wasn't until I literally called my manager and made her talk to this fraud so called "dental manager" so she could clearly see that her unprofessional actions was causing me to be late to work because of her greed to collect money. Remember this was my first time in this dentist office and now will be my last.. After a half hour of harassment she finally wrote down my information and proceeded to act as though she was going to work with me. If I am forced to pay this entire balance I will never come back here for future services an continue to pass the memo on based on how poorly I was treated during checkout. I have worked as a collections manager in the past before I ever started into the Medical Healthcare field and that managers actions was absolutely unprofessional and very greedy. I don't believe she has good management skills and they will not get 5 stars in my book. read more
