They arrived on time. They called half an hour before to let me know they were on their way. They were quick, efficient and polite. And they were careful not to hit the low tree branches off the driveway. That was a big plus. They set up my couch, then took all the garbage away with them. I paid for white glove service, and that's what I got. My couch sectionals were all really well wrapped, too. I've seen some bad reviews, and I'm wondering what state those people are in. First, the crew of three men arrived at 7:30am this morning without calling in advance. Then they wanted to bring the furniture only to the threshold. We told them that our service had been upgraded by Apt2B to White Glove service. But they didn't seem to care. They argued repeatedly with my husband until he finally told them that this was BS and that they need to do their job. I tried calling DeliverRight, but you guessed it . . . no one was answering and their voicemail was full. When I had tried to reason with them earlier on Monday, July 11 about the fact that we had a separate order arriving on the same Tuesday, July 12 in the same window of time that they were in our area and wanted to deliver our furniture, they did not take it into consideration at all. Furthermore, when I calmly tried to explain that I'm disabled and couldn't arrange help so quickly to relocate the furniture from the threshold into the family room in the back addition of our house, all that ensued was an inflexible attitude (she told me they "weren't like other shippers and didn't allow flexibility on the delivery date; only as to whether it was morning or afternoon"), an unwillingness to compromise or cooperate and incessant argumentation; she even interrupted and talked over me. It was just unbelievably disrespectful and so unprofessional. I finally had to call Apt2B to escalate the issue. And once I explained, they were fantastic with upgrading our standard delivery to White Glove gratis. And yet, how funny that today DeliverRight STILL didn't want to provide the White Glove service afforded by Apt2B. It really seems like the scheduler either didn't do her job in communicating or the crew didn't want the extra work. Either way, not a sterling review for any of them. What I can say is that the crew finally got their brains in gear and realized that my husband wasn't going to put up with any failure to give us what was committed to. And ... it wasn't going to look good for them if they had to take the furniture back and only to discover that we were telling the truth and actually DID have White Glove service for the delivery. So the crew leader decided to deliver the furniture, set it up and take away the boxes. And honestly, it wasn't the fault of the crew. It was the communication between the scheduler and the warehouse. But this is exactly the kind of poor service that can so easily ruin the fine reputation of the manufacturer. And it's really this kind of attention to detail that make UPS the clear and overwhelming leader in the logistics space. read more

I paid $200 just to have them bring it to the apartment? I thought white glove delivery was supposed to take the product out of the box and set it up for you. I'm a petit woman and I paid for this so I wouldn't have to inbox and set it up myself as it'll be a challenge. When I asked the guys to do so, they looked at me and just said "we don't do that". So much work I still have to do for spending so much extra money for a service that wasn't delivered. The company called ahead the day before to give a 2 hour window and then called the day of to give a 30 mins head's up. We had a heavy sleeper sofa delivered with white glove service because it had to get up three long flights of stairs (!!) The last flight was particularly tight and steep. The guys were incredibly efficient and we were amazed that they got it up that super steep, curved staircase. Another delivery team might have given up, but these three kept at it, trying different angles and different tactics until it worked. They cleaned up quickly and were off. Dear Mr. Ladden, I would love to have a conversation with you about my recent experience as the final retail customer of an amazon purchase. My furniture is currently in High Point, NC however I am being told it will take a month to deliver it to Mooresville, NC. This is a one hour driving distance. I tried to work with customer service to no avail. I have begun a contact with the company, who is your direct customer, and Amazon about my delivery struggle with Deliveright. I was kept on the phone on hold several times for long periods as they did not want to provide me with your name or contact number. You can listen to the recording. I welcome speaking to you about this experience. Deliveright's website states in its FAQ, as copied below, a 3-5 day delivery time frame. I do feel I was being kept on the phone for long periods of time to purposefully frustrate, dissuade or deter me from being helped. This is against everything I think of in customer service excellence. There are several other things I could provide feedback on as well that were frustrating in the process; the number of text message contacts is annoyingly excessive, the ability to directly contact a customer service representative is extremely difficult, only one date was provided as a delivery choice, no details provided on the process if I did choose that date as far as time frame needed. I could not choose a date without knowing this information in advance. I look forward to hearing from you. WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER. This is the most unprofessional and disorganized delivery service provider I've ever experienced in all my years of purchasing furniture and appliances. I was given zero options in terms of selecting a delivery timeframe. I was forced to accept my furniture on a pre-selected day without my consent. When I reached out immediately trying to reschedule, customer service was already gone on their weekend. It took me a few tries to finally get a hold of someone, and I was told that if I cancelled it would likely be several more weeks before they could schedule a new delivery to my home. I do not live in the middle of nowhere! I live in a highly populated area, so how could they not have any other options for delivery dates?! I had to pull a bunch of favors and make miracles happen to make the delivery date THEY SELECTED work. On the day of delivery, they showed up unannounced without a phone call or any advance notice. "White glove service" was more like greasy men with bad BO service. Terrible company and I honestly don't know why my furniture retailer hired them. read more

The delivery time was not confirmed until 2 hours prior to the start of the delivery window even though they stated it will be confirmed 24-48 hours ahead. If I were reviewing only the administrative procedures I would give this company zero stars. I was contacted once about scheduling my delivery, but after that I received no communication about the delivery window. Every time I had to reach out to them. When the item was not delivered as scheduled I received no communication about why they didn't show up and there was no one answering the phone. I was never contacted about rescheduling - again, I had to be the one to call them. Finally the bed was delivered this past weekend. The men were very pleasant and friendly, and they cleaned up after setting up the bed. My only issue is that they placed the bed so the headboard was about six inches away from the wall, and the bed is too heavy for me to move by myself. read more

Today I received a large all wood buffet cabinet from Furniture Unlimited. Since ordering the furniture on line, I was kept appraised of when to expect my item to ship and then given the delivery information once it shipped. The furniture was fully inspected by the delivery company prior to delivery and then I was able to inspect it at my home before accepting delivery. The delivery men attached the legs, cleared away all packing material and carefully moved it to the location I wanted it placed. The 3 shelves were also installed. All of the packing material and the cardboard box were cleaned up and removed from my premises.
