WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER. This is the most unprofessional and disorganized delivery service provider I've ever experienced in all my years of purchasing furniture and appliances. I was given zero options in terms of selecting a delivery timeframe. I was forced to accept my furniture on a pre-selected day without my consent. When I reached out immediately trying to reschedule, customer service was already gone on their weekend. It took me a few tries to finally get a hold of someone, and I was told that if I cancelled it would likely be several more weeks before they could schedule a new delivery to my home. I do not live in the middle of nowhere! I live in a highly populated area, so how could they not have any other options for delivery dates?! I had to pull a bunch of favors and make miracles happen to make the delivery date THEY SELECTED work. On the day of delivery, they showed up unannounced without a phone call or any advance notice. If I were reviewing only the administrative procedures I would give this company zero stars. I was contacted once about scheduling my delivery, but after that I received no communication about the delivery window. Every time I had to reach out to them. When the item was not delivered as scheduled I received no communication about why they didn't show up and there was no one answering the phone. I was never contacted about rescheduling - again, I had to be the one to call them. Finally the bed was delivered this past weekend. The men were very pleasant and friendly, and they cleaned up after setting up the bed. My only issue is that they placed the bed so the headboard was about six inches away from the wall, and the bed is too heavy for me to move by myself. read more

Today I received a large all wood buffet cabinet from Furniture Unlimited. Since ordering the furniture on line, I was kept appraised of when to expect my item to ship and then given the delivery information once it shipped. The furniture was fully inspected by the delivery company prior to delivery and then I was able to inspect it at my home before accepting delivery. The delivery men attached the legs, cleared away all packing material and carefully moved it to the location I wanted it placed. The 3 shelves were also installed. All of the packing material and the cardboard box were cleaned up and removed from my premises. They called when they were 30 min away, were well within their time window. pouring rain but they set up under our covered porch. brought sectional in the house (kicked off their shoes!), set it all up, showed me all the recliner settings and cleaned up inside and outside before they left! I ordered a couch from Overstock on Jan 2nd. Overstock shows this shipped on Feb 11th. It is now March 27th, meaning my furniture has been in transit (hostage) for 6 weeks. The tracking data shows it took a good 2 weeks to move from North Carolina where it then went to Kansas City and sat in their hub for over 2 weeks. Each time I tried to contact them, they just gave me a vague response and said that they would contact me when it was ready for delivery. I have been checking their website daily for a delivery update. On Weds of this week, the website showed it would be delivered today (Saturday). I checked daily Thurs, Fri and even this morning and it still showed today between 10-1pm. Hence I got rid of my previous furniture last night so as to make room for my new sofa. At noon, I logged back in and it now shows Tuesday. What?? And then I tried to call them and it says I have called outside of business hours...despite their business hours above stating they are open on Saturdays thru 5pm. There is virtually no good way to get a hold of them or get a firm ETA for delivery... nor has there been throughout this delivery process. I am appalled that Overstock partners with such a lousy logistics company. When it says 'Free Shipping', I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Please know that this is a TERRIBLE company and has made a simple process extremely frustrating. My order was significantly delayed and they had said it was my fault. They said I filled out the wrong link but I completed the only one they sent which in turn sent me an email saying my delivery date is confirmed. So it was NOT the wrong link. I tried many times to get a hold of SOMEONE (Ken at the Denver location and Michael Moriarty who is the Head of Operations) to share my frustrations but got absolutely NO response. Very poor customer service! Their priority does not appear to be the party to whom they are delivering. For delivery of my sofas- To begin with, I was only offered one date (Nov 30th) as an option for delivery. I let the customer service rep know I would be working most of that day but I was not given another option. After working until 12am the night before I awoke and immediately realized I forgot to take my phone off of silent. A Deliveright agent left a voicemail letting me kno the drivers would be outside my house until 8:53am. I called Deliveright at 9:01 am..8 MINUTES LATER to find out where the delivery was. I was told delivery would not be made and I would have to wait to be called for redelivery. Today I spoke to a very unprofessional, incompetent Deliveright agent. First, I was surprised with a redelivery fee that I was NEVER INFORMED OF. If I would have been made aware of it I would have not agreed to the Nov 30th delivery, knowing already that my work schedule was a bit hectic that week. Next, she claimed my furniture redelivery was made on Dec 1st. After telling her MULTIPLE times I was not notified of any redelivery, she went to verify the information and realized she was wrong. I explained to her I called Deliveright 8 MINUTES after the drivers were said to have left, I was still within the 8:30am-11:30 am window for delivery and at no point was I made aware of a redelivery fee. I guess u had better be standing at your front door from 8:30am-11:30am waiting! So after a lot of back and forth she solved nothing, told me to call the local hub and talk to the manager Al. I am now waiting for the manager to call me back. read more

These guys were on time, efficient, helpful, and friendly and they were especially good at assembling the chair they delivered.

Was given a misquote by email, which to their credit they did own up to and did not charge me the difference. Shipment from Raleigh, NC to NY was scheduled with my client (the recipient) for Dec 21 and Deliveright cancelled the day of - no notice. They rescheduled for three weeks later on Jan 11 and they cancelled the day of delivery, again, no notice. Client was so frustrated he cancelled the order with me; so, I had to refund him $2400. I was told by HR that as it turns out, the item NEVER even left North Carolina - it was still sitting 2 hours from Raleigh in the Lexington facility. I not only lost a sale, but was also out about 5 hours of my time up to this point of trying to resolve this issue (you cannot speak to anyone on the phone who can actually help resolve an issue - I had to finally speak with someone in their HR Team). The return of this item to me is scheduled for March 1 which 6 weeks after I requested this order be cancelled and returned to me. And it's sitting only 2 hours away. I've been selling furniture online for 7 years and I deal with carriers all the time - Deliveright has proved to be completely incompetent in this order. Note: I was also given a misquote on a SECOND client order and had to pay the difference out of my own pocket. Deliveright accepted that order, sat on it for three weeks and then cancelled without explanation. I did receive refund of that payment. But, this left me to scramble to find another carrier as I had now lost three weeks of time and was at risk of losing another sale from a client. Update March 2: The cancelled item (a bed) was finally returned to me on March 1st. 6 weeks from the time the order was cancelled and when I gave a full refund to my client. It took 6 weeks to get the bed back to me and it had never even left NC originally from what I was told. And, the bed arrived with so many dings, knicks and scratches that I stopped looking for all points of damage. This tells me that the items were never blanket wrapped as the order designated. The bed arrived back to me not blanket wrapped. Deliveright's online photos of the item in transit (their documentation of the item) show not one single piece that has been blanket wrapped. The bed cannot be resold - at least not under my brand - it's a damaged item at this point. I am now out $2,100 for the item, $300 I paid for delivery (which has not been credited back to me), and out what I estimate at being about $600 worth of time (the time I spent trying to manage this for the past three months is time I am not working). I emailed multiple people/addresses at Deliveright on March 1st and as of the evening of March 2nd I have heard from no one. I have never adamantly been against a company, but in my experience, I would never be able to recommend this company. Every single step in the process has been an complete failure. read more
