The shop is run by a lovely couple who went above and beyond with their kindness. When I mentioned that I'd recently lost a prayer card of Jesus that meant a lot to me, they generously gave me a new one at no charge. Such thoughtful and genuine people. Highly recommend supporting this local business!

Too bad there's no ZERO star option…read more Order was supposed to be ready yesterday. Nope! Went back this morning and had THE worst experience! You know you're getting top notch customer service when the only guy in the whole place is sleeping on the couch. I said "Good morning" at increasingly louder volumes to try get his attention... no dice! A couple of times his eyes actually opened, but then he just flipped back over to another sleeping position where he could avoid me. He finally woke up looking incoherent and desperate for a cup of coffee and after I give him the order number, he starts asking me non-sensical questions like, "What word do you want translated?" Huh? "Where do you want stickers delivered?" What? I kept repeating, "I'm just here to pick up stickers." Finally he tells me, "When Lily get here you get your stickers." I said, "When's that?" His reply, "She get here when she get here." After that, he basically walked me out the front door and most likely hit the couch again to sleep it off. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I'm Patsy in a Patsy Cline tribute band, and Mazzarello Media & Arts has been our visual media go-to. They did a wonderful job editing the footage of our band's debut show, creating a sizzle reel that both captured our band's spirit and enhanced the 1950s-1960s vibe that we were going for. When we needed our band photos taken, we knew that they were just the right people for the job! Our photoshoot was a blast, and they made the atmosphere so comfortable and enjoyable with their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and special touches (like making sure that our hair, makeup, and wardrobe was all in place and playing Patsy's music to get us all into character). We are so thrilled with the results! Through their careful research and creative talents, they were able to precisely depict and re-create the era of Patsy's time in each and every one of the photos. With all of this, the Mazzarellos also designed the perfect logo for our band that looks so much like it would have been on an actual concert poster of Patsy's. We would highly recommend this incredible duo for all of your creative needs!

I've been contemplating putting together my own little food and travel blog (for us post-college…read morefolks who don't quite have the budget to eat at the places that get written up in the LA Times) for a while now. About 6 months ago I FINALLY got the gumption to start planning and putting it together. As much as I would like to pay the geniuses ( the dynamic duo of Helen and Janice) at The Think Farm to make my whole site, at this beginning phase I figured it was best to start out with something basic that I could drop into a standard blog template. So I asked about a logo. I wanted something to make my blog stand out--and something that was uniquely mine. Helen and Janice treated me with such kindness and patience. I've never worked on a logo before and had no idea how hard it would be to communicate the feelings/ideas/color schemes that I had in mind. And as I rambled on and described a bunch of contrasting ideas, somehow Janice found a way to make sense of it all. To figure out the most important elements for me and how to visually represent that. I couldn't even make sense of it all! I just kept getting more and more confused! Gratefully, Janice and Helen always helped me find the focus. To create a logo that is simple and universal. Something that will work with a number of different layouts in case I decide to change the template or layout later. I worked mostly with Janice (though there was also lots of input from Helen along the way) on the actual design. She was great at suggesting ways for me to explain to her what I wanted. She suggested sending a list of adjectives that I wanted to describe my website, or links to other websites I liked. The end result is perfect! It's fun and colorful without being cartoonish. I even have a few cute little icons that they made for me to use on the tabs of the different pages of my blog. I can't WAIT to get it all up and running. I just hope the site does justice to the lovely logo they created! Call The Think Farm for any job , large or small! They will treat you with the utmost professionalism and care. There are many graphic and web designers out there, but I have yet to find any design studio with the ability to articulate themselves and every step of the process as well as Helen and Janice did. Creativity and communication together? I'll take it!

I was so upset, so I went searching on Yelp and found Helen at the Think Farm. It was the best thing that could have happened! Helen is incredible, the best ever. I send her some rough ideas about what I want, and her design is usually perfect the first time. In the past it used to take 4 or 5 proofs to get a design I liked. And even then , they weren't as good as Helen's designs. She does incredible work at very reasonable prices. Wayne/Rockaway Records
