I bought part for…read moreupstream before the catalytic converter. the car has 2 oxygen sensors, one before the pre catalytic converter (B1S1) and another one after (B1S2). the part I bought was for B1S1 but Hutchins installed it in B1S2. after he was done he told I needed because the car two sensors. I agreed that he should order the part and I'll give him the money ($40). that was my mistake for trusting the guy. $40 was small price to pay to see if he's honest. Wrong! Anyway, I texted and called him but no response. I don't recommend this guy, definitely don't give him money to buy parts. He will steal it. I should file a police report.

And, it's rare nowadays to see a gas station that has some full-service pumps. But, they are so cramped for space that I literally caused a one-man traffic jam in the lot just parking to use the air pump. Worse yet, the filling ports for the underground fuel storage tanks are in front of the garage bay doors, so if my modest-sized work van caused such chaos, I can only imagine how much worse navigating the gas pumps would be when a tanker truck is making a fuel delivery. Other reasons for my low rating is that they do not sell diesel fuel, and only have the barest selection of drinks (one small cooler) and snacks. I get that it's a gas station/automotive repair garage, and not a convenience store, but if you have to make a stop, why not stop at a place that has both? They sell BP-branded gas, and the price was about average. Oh, and the air pump was free.

He gets defensive any time you question a price or suggest getting another opinion. He quoted my daughter nearly $2,000 for a few repairs. When I mentioned going to another shop, he was clearly unhappy. Well, we did and not just one, but two different mechanics looked at the car. Both shops did more work for about half the price he tried to charge. Customers keep your business running, so some honesty and respect would go a long way. How many mechanics simply do the work that's on the sheet and don't notice the things that could cause damage later on? Answer? Too many. So! Fresh battery, fresh oil change, new oil sending unit, cabin and air filters replaced, all for super reasonable and done in short order, I had my car back by early afternoon. And a side note, but an important one, ladies. They treat women with respect here; no condescending tones, no abrupt shortness, no mention of "talking to the husband", all of that's appreciated in addition to the solid work and reasonable rates.
