I loved my sandwich! It had avocado, chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle Mayo. The chicken was seasoned well and the bacon was thick and crispy without being burned and somehow now chewy for how thick it was cut. The bread is incredibly soft and the Chipotle Mayo on the side was probably the best touch. The pasta salad was great also. Only reason I'm docking a point is the price. I understand things cost more these days but $15 for a sandwich and side with no drink felt high. I'll be back but maybe not as frequently as I would if it was less expensive.

I ordered for delivery and the food held up pretty well. Both sandwiches had good bread that was not stale or dry. The meats were also tasty and tender, and had a decent amount. The philly did feel as it could have used way more cheese and onions/peppers.

I was so excited to learn we had a really good sandwich shop just down the street from us. My mom, sister and myself stopped by on a weekend. It wasn't too busy, the people working the counter had excellent service and the food was sooo great. Highly recommend!

I'm so lucky to have this deli right in my neighborhood. Everything here is amazing but I can't resist the stuffed grilled cheese. Daily meal specials are home cooking at its best. All served by a great staff.

The wait from the of order was about 15 mins for 1 sandwich. They have very loud Christian music playing (it's cool but way too loud). The sandwich I got was made to order but didn't taste like a real Ruben. The sauce was off as well. Overall very small place and not enough workers to support lunch traffic. Won't be back..

Truly a hidden gem. DelliGatti's deserves to be talked about in the same lines as Gino's and the other top tier sandwhich shops in San Antonio. Their selection is diverse and ever changing. This also includes Dailey lunch specials and soup of the weeks which are always delectable. DelliGatti's location is in a a cute little shopping center, which inside isn't terribly big but what they lack in size they pack in flavor. I have tried everything from the French Dip, Chicken Caprese, Ruben and I have to stop listing about it because my mouth is watering!

The Beast. The sandwich that has it all - brisket, bacon, sausage, and ham.

This is a great little restaurant. My husband and I go there for our weekly lunch date. The owner greets us when we walk in and gives us a kind send off when we leave. The sandwiches are great and made fresh. The portions are big enough for me to have leftovers. The homemade beef jerky is on point.

The hoss- massive man sandwich with sausage, brisket, ham, pulled pork, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce. I could only eat 1/3.

Absolutely delicious home cooked food! The owners obviously take pride in everything they do and it really, really shows. Everything from the food to the customer service is excellent. The portions are massive especially for the price. I really wanted the Reuben sandwich and I specifically went there for that but they were out. Popular item I guess!! I ordered the special of the day called the hoss and the hubs ordered the blt. The meats are all so flavorful and not dry at all. Did I mention that they're very generous with the portions? The bbq sauce is fantastic as is the potato salad. This is our new go to sandwich spot!

So, when co-workers wanted to go yesterday, I jumped on it. Don't get me wrong. I love the vibe of this place. I LOVE their story. It's very NY/Northeastern deli feel (they're from Pittsburgh, but you get my drift, right!?). No nonsense. Small inside area. No tables inside. Just enough room to look at the menu, order, and go wait outside. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch on hoagie. What came out was a decent size sandwich, but incredibly messy and soggy. There was so much juice/ liquid the sandwich quickly became unmanageable and just disintegrated. Look, if you're going to serve a sandwich that messy, please upgrade your napkins. It was a one bite - two napkin ratio. The sandwich was good, but the mess and difficulty eating it just took away any enjoyment. Additionally, the flies outside rivaled the worst I've experienced. Do you remember the scene in the Lost World, Jurassic Park movie when the hunters found the Rex nest!? Okay, okay, maybe not that bad, but it was a lot. Hang some fly bags or strips or somethin'. Found price to be a little high. By the time I bought chips and a drink, plus tip: $22. Just FYI: my co-worker disagrees. He thought it was the BEST SANDWICH HE'D EVER HAD. So, yes, go give them a try, but bring a beach towel for clean up.

I was able to make my way here on my last day in San Antonio in late March thanks to my flight being delayed and my oh my, I am quite impressed! The older gentleman taking my order at the counter gave me a big smile when I mentioned I heard you have this thing called the serious sandwich here. He told me that they do and then stated "You won't regret ordering it, seriously." Chuckling, I decided on a half order of that along with a side of potato salad and their side of beans. After taking my first bite, I realized the gentleman was right. This is a dope sandwich! Excellent cured meats in the salamar and pair of hams along with the provolone and melted cheddar with the veggies, spices, italian dressing, and mustard. The bread they use holds up well and has a slight crunch to it. If you prefer your bread to have softness to it, you may have to ask if they can substitute a different bread instead of the italian flat bread they use. But I absolutely love this sandwich the way it is! As for the sides, the potato salad has a slight mustard taste and right consistency with a dash of paprika on top; just the way I like it. The beans are charro beans (I think) that are served steaming hot with some pork trimmings mixed in; I may have dipped my sandwich in it a couple times for flavor explosion. What can I say, I'm adventurous! There's some ferrari memorabilia and posters on the right side where some of the high top seating is. As a Ferrari F1 fan, I appreciate them displaying this here along with the track map of the COTA circuit in Austin. The seating area is spread out nicely with plenty of seats/tables and a drink station with some random signs up. All of interest to consumers like us. Definitely recommend coming here for either the serious sandwich or other delicious ones like their meatball sandwich or manhattan. I can't wait to come back and try the other ones but I may just stick with the serious sandwich cause I loved it. SERIOUSLY!
