THE BEST!!!! We got married April 29th, In the planning process we met virtually or by phone with a few florist. Our search was over the second my husband talked with Tom at Delray Beach Florist. We are an older couple, so I was not wearing a traditional wedding gown.The search for the perfect dress took way longer than expected. Tom was patient and requested an in person meeting and requested the dress be brought as well. We went to the shop, me thinking they needed to see just the color of the dress. I lifted the bag slightly to show the color. Nope, they used my dress and our MOH and Bridesmaids dresses to design our bouquets perfectly We talked about our decor and the venue colors. They took everything into consideration and made the most beautiful arch and table flowers. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. Besides being extremely talented, both Tom and Ray were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were kind and patient, offering supportive advice on my candles, tables cloth and napkin colors, even to the napkin fold! I can't say enough about this shop! They are true artists who added so much more to our wedding than we expected! I can honestly say I was getting to the overwhelmed stage of wedding planning. Never actually been here, but this is my go to florist whenever I need to send mom flowers for her anniversary, bday, another special occasion. Their web site is pretty easy to use so I usually just pick out my flower arrangement, choose the day I want it to arrive, pay by credit card...and mom gets flowers! Prices are what you'd expect from a nice flowers shop...expensive for something that only lasts a few days, but no more expensive than anywhere else I've been. Don't waste your money. I tried out this florist for the first time this Valentine's Day and I am more than disappointed. I placed the order nearly three weeks in advance and called to ask that the delivery be before noon. I was told to call the day before to ensure a morning delivery. I called the day before and explained that the flowers needed to be delivered before noon because the recipient would not be there after that time. I was told that they do not guarantee times and after resistance she said she would make a note for a.m. delivery. The flowers were delivered at 3:20pm. I would not recommend using this florist if you want the flowers on time. The quality of the flowers were no better than those sold in grocery stores. They were starting to wilt and dark around the edges of the petals. read more

This place is a horrible rip-off! I ordered online an arrangement of orchids as a gift for someone dear to me for a special occasion. The photo says "as shown" and displays a light purple orchid with two stems growing out of the soil, each with beautifully bloomed orchids and buds. I saw a photo of what was actually delivered and was mortified and embarrassed - it looked like I bought a cheap arrangement from the supermarket. It was one stem with two flowers and they were not light purple, they were maroon. It was so off-the-mark from what they had advertised, that I honestly believed it was done in error. Mind you, the arrangement cost $69.95 plus $10.95 delivery fee (delivered to the same town as the store location, I should add) plus taxes, bringing the grand total to $88.88. So, I figured I would call to explain what happened and get reimbursed for the product that I paid for and absolutely did not receive. When I called, I spoke to a receptionist and explained the issue. She briefly tried to defend it, which didn't work with me, then I was placed on hold. Then Tom answered and I had to start from scratch about the story. I explained that I: a) received the wrong color and b) received half the amount of flowers than what was advertised for the price I paid. Instead of acknowledging the gross disparity between what was ordered and what was delivered, he too tried to rationalize it to me and literally asked me what I expected from him. He clearly had no business acumen or tact, and for the fact that he felt his tiny orchid was worth close to $90, no ethics either. Because he wasn't willing to help make the situation right, I had to actually come out and say it: I had to state the obvious that I felt ripped off. I said that at the very least, he should refund me half of the money being that I received only half the plant, and I wasn't even taking into account the fact that they were a completely different color than what was shown in the photo. Instead of acquiescing to what I thought was a more-than-reasonable solution, he said he would not refund me half of what I paid. He did, however, offer to drive to the recipient's house to take the plant back for full refund. Um yeah, Tom - great idea. After embarrassing me with a pathetic arrangement that I sent as a gift, you offer to take your arrangement back and embarrass me further. Great idea - not. I told Tom taking the arrangement back was not going to happen. That damage was already done and I was not going to drag the gift recipient into this mess. Instead, I told Tom that I wanted to be refunded exactly one-half of the cost because I received one-half of a plant that was advertised for the price. He, again, refused and went on to babble about how his company has been in business for 50 years and brought up other points that were completely irrelevant to the fact that I did not receive what I had paid for. By the way, Tom is clearly not old enough to have run the store for 50 years, so if the store was successful, it had nothing to do with Tom. I now got stern with Tom, and I told him we could do this one of two ways. He could either refund me half the money, or I would just call American Express, get a 100% refund AND keep the plant. Tom didn't like this and said that he didn't appreciate that I was threatening him. He also told me that if I did this, he would go get the plant back. I told him no, he would not get the plant back. He said yes, he would and that he had done it many times before. I told him no, he was not going get the plant back. Again, he told me yes, he was. I finally told Tom that was against the law. After some more snotty rudeness, the call ended and I dialed AMEX, who gave me the option of taking a 100% refund. I decided to take only 50% because I did actually have a plant, it just wasn't as big, valuable, or the same color as what I ordered. Plus, I am ethical, and to "stick it" to Tom would have made me just as bad as he, which I'm not. I hope you're reading this Tom - I HAD THE OPTION TO TAKE 100% BACK AND I DIDN'T because I'm honest and fair, unlike you. You are unethical and have no morals, and you have crappy flowers to boot. Remember this when your store goes under. So, exactly one-half was refunded to me, and one-half taken away from Tom. However, the damage to Tom's future profits will be immeasurable as this review will remain here into perpetuity. It probably would have been better for Tom to just have acknowledged that there was a mistake and to have given the partial refund, but some people are just . Oh well. Bottom line - don't ever buy flowers from this place or this person if you want to avoid the risk of being ripped off. As evidenced by the other posts, Tom seems to have a track record of fruadulent advertising. For those checking this review, I leave photos of the flowers as advertised on the website and the photos of what was actually delivered so that you can form your own opinions. read more

Yesterday I got my second arrangement from Delray Beach Florist and I had to Yelp. Both were gorgeous!!! I received the first ones about a month ago from a friend in New York to congratulate my husband and I on our pregnancy. When they arrived I was floored. The arrangement was huge and so beautiful and lasted fro almost 2 weeks! I was so impressed that I wrote down the name of the florist. Yesterday my husband had flowers sent to me for our anniversary. As soon as I saw them I asked if they were from Delray Beach Florist because they were so impressive. He didn't know because he just googled a local florist and picked out a nice arrangement from their website without paying attention to the store name. Sure enough I looked at the card and they were. At our dinner party last night everyone that arrived commented on how incredible the arrangement was. They are so tasteful and the glass vase is perfect. Delray Beach Florist are true artists! Speechless. Used this florist over the past two years and had a problem with a non delivery this weekend. When I called to inquire as to why it took 3 days to be alerted that the flowers could not be delivered (and were now undeliverable) I was told that there was nothing they did wrong by not reaching out. The only solution offered was to reorder another bouquet and pay another full fee. What? When I mentioned how long I had been a customer it made zero difference. And why is a floral arrangement made for Saturday delivery undeliverable on Monday. Flowers die in 2 days? Lesson learned. read more

First thing they ask is "How much do you want to spend" At this point, walk away or hang up. For almost $200, all we got was a cheap vase arrangement. I called to order flowers for a family member who had just suffered a terrible loss. Carmen was so kind and helpful on the phone. I said i needed something peaceful and healing and that the recipient's favorite color was purple. She recommended a purple orchid plant, which was the perfect thing, absolutely gorgeous and delivered within an hour. I also wanted to send sweets and Carmen recommended a cupcake place, and even made arrangements to have the cupcakes delivered with the flowers. My wife lives in another city than me and all she wanted for her birthday was some nice flowers. needless to say these people take liberties and in this case they really did a bad job.
