Tamara's flower shop is one of a kind, and a great reminder of why supporting local businesses is always the right move. I ordered a small custom arrangement for my grandmothers birthday since I couldn't be there with her, and the staff were very kind and helpful. It was easy to place the order, and the arrangement was gorgeous. There was a minor mixup with the delivery date, and Michael and the team were incredible generous when I let them know. They put together an entirely new arrangement, with a different color palette, to be delivered on the right date. If you want beautiful high quality arrangements and customer service that goes above and beyond, this is the place for you.

I reached out to Michael for a same day birthday order. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. We spent quite some time going over my exact specifications and he came up with the perfect arrangement to fit my budget. The arrangement was absolutely stunnning. I can't say enough great things about this florist!

I picked this flower shop after reading the reviews and the arrangements were simply beautiful! I had gone in around 11am (an hour after they opened) hoping to get a beautiful arrangement for my clients birthday. I explained what colors I wanted and looked around to see if there were some other flowers to throw in the mix. I gave a price range, picked a vase and was told to come back mid afternoon. HOLY COW! I couldn't believe what I saw when I went back. They completely exceeded my expectations! My client absolutely loved the flowers! Needed a stand out bouquet for my wife for our anniversary. I was not clear on which flowers but i know I wanted it to make a statement. These guys did a great job. They have pictures you can look at to and say "give me something like this" but then they worked with me to design something that really popped. my wife loved it. Incredible level of service. It started with an after hours call..I was planning on leaving a message. Michael, the owner, answered, took down all my information and we discussed my need for a quick turnaround for a family whose mother had passed. Fortunately, you have an idea of Michael's stunning artistic way with flower arrangements by looking at the hundred poste on yelp. We discussed my two favorite arrangements. He created one, on time. He was transparent about his costs, his delivery costs, etc. And he sent an image of my final order.. exactly what I wanted. The family called me after the delivery. Called Tamara's Florist @ 2:40 on a Friday in hopes of having the flowers delivered early Friday evening to my sister. The florist is 45 min away her house. Michael made it happen. Michael bent over backwards to provide the perfect bouquet. He immediately knew the vibe I wanted and worked within the price range, Michael stated this arrangement would be perfect for a side table. We called upon Tamara's with two-day's notice to prepare a small bridal bouquet and boutonniere for our elopement. They discussed our needs and said they could do it. After further discussion with Trey, she was able to put together exactly what we were looking for - a muted pink/white/red color palette with beautiful white and black ribbon with pearls tying it all together. And when we went to pick them up, since they had used fewer flowers than expected they refunded the overage. And they threw in a bag of rose petals as well! Gem is right! Paola (sp?) took the order perfectly and Michael created a GORGEOUS, INSPIRED arrangement that exceeded expectations. I called this shop this morning, and spoke with Michael, about sending flowers for a very sad funeral service. He was absolutely professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the flowers were delivered the same day. They are stunning! With the global shipping issues, the cost of flowers has gone up, like everything else, so I planned to spend more than normal, and am thrilled with what we were able to send to a grieving family. If you need to send flowers in the Delray or Boca area, I can't imagine you'd find anyone more helpful or talented. read more

I thought in this day and age that when u enter an establishment you would be treated like a valued customer. I did not get that feeling when myself and the lovely lady who I am a companion to. Upon entering we were followed and almost ran into several times while looking at the merchandise and also looking for greeting cards. I noticed wherever we went there was this same lady who was not following anyone else but us. I tried desperately to ingnore this but it was very obvious. so obvious that My lovely lady made mention of it when we left the store she was rather concerned especially with all of the things that's going on in the world especially for the Jewish people. I let her know welcome to my world as I am an African American woman with Locs. I felt too uncomfortable and will not ever return. read more

We have been creating artistically inspired floral arrangements & plant compositions for both residential & corporate clients for over 20 years. Our philosophy & specialty is that each person deserves an individualized product AND personalized attention to fit their tastes as well as their needs. Even during the busiest holidays each piece is individually created. We specialize in the special, & always tell our customers to expect the unexpected. Our main objective is to remind customers that there is in fact a true power & importance to gifting floral & plant designs. We are a Dutch based flower boutique & import most of our flowers, but we also utilize our local growers & suppliers. We service our local area, but also the surrounding areas as well. This was one of the most disrespectful and uncomfortable customer service experiences I've had in a…read morelong time. From the moment I walked in, it was clear I was not welcome. The staff member acted annoyed by my presence, offered no genuine help, and very quickly began speaking to me in a condescending and dismissive manner. When I asked reasonable questions about the pricing -- which was extremely high -- I was treated as if I couldn't afford it and as if my questions were a waste of her time. If you're going to charge luxury prices, you should be able to explain the value behind them. I work with a wide range of clients, including high-profile individuals, and I understand premium pricing very well. What I don't accept is being talked down to or made to feel inferior for wanting clarity. Instead of professionalism, I got attitude, judgment, and blatant disrespect. The interaction was so uncomfortable that it made me seriously question whether I was being profiled based on my appearance or the color of my skin. I can't prove intent, but the treatment was undeniably dismissive and degrading -- something no customer should ever experience. This business clearly does not value all customers equally. If you don't fit whatever image they've decided is "worth their time," expect to be rushed, judged, and disrespected. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to take their money elsewhere.

Since moving back into Delray, I was looking for a new florist to use for our congregation needs. I had been using the same florist previously for about 7 years. However, they could no longer guarantee delivery timeframes, had previously arrived with profane bumper stickers on the delivery vehicle, had not followed instructions regarding size of arrangements, had a very different idea of what "high end" flowers should be, etc. I shared all of these concerns with Michael and Paola of Tamara's Flower Garden. They both reassured me that all of my expectations would be met, if not exceeded. During my initial consultation with Michael, I gave him minimal direction for the arrangement other than telling him: something tropical to go in front of a podium, easily seen from an audience of 600, and tasteful. I did not want the standard "Easter Lilies" for our religious event. Michael steered me in the direction of a classic black urn, explained the flowers he had in mind, and told me not to worry. I called Michael to verify the delivery. The driver arrived right on time. Our attendants said the delivery driver was very polite, professional, and followed my directions for stage placement exactly. When I arrived to the event, I noticed how beautiful the arrangement was from the back of the giant auditorium. It was easily seen from every seat. People were gathering in front of the arrangement, taking pictures of it. They were posing their family members in front of the beautiful arrangement! Some of the comments from both men and women: "That arrangement is GORGEOUS. The best one we've ever had here." "Whoever their floral supplier is, they are amazing. The quality of these flowers is off the charts." "The flowers look like Paradise. Breathtaking and beautiful! At first I thought they weren't real! They are stunning!" "Who is the florist? I must know! Can you please get me the information?" I've been ordering flowers for different events for our congregation for over 10 years. I've NEVER had comments and reactions like that. I feel like I am finally getting the flowers I had been hoping for all those years. Thank you, Yelp for leading me to Michael at Tamara's Flower Garden. P.S. I ordered an arrangement for my mom from California. I used their online site to choose and pay for a bouquet. Michael called me himself to explain that the online order goes through a generic site and is then sent to Tamara's Flowers. He said he would create something in the same color palate but with a few different flower varieties. My mom sent me a photo of the arrangement after it arrived and it was gorgeous!! It was such an upgrade from what I thought I was ordering. I loved that the flowers he chose were modern and unique. It definitely looked hand crafted and not like a 1-800-flowers assembly line piece, which I often feel relegated to when ordering from across the country. I also had semi-complicated delivery instructions as my parents live in a gated community and there were no issues. Would not hesitate to order from them again. read more

I discovered Tamara's through an internet search and am delighted with the outcome. As usual I waited until the last minute to order flowers for my sister's birthday. Well, Tamara's saved the day. After discussing the details of the design with my wife and me, Michael, the owner of the shop, created a beautiful and unique arrangement of orchids and had it delivered precisely on time to my sister, all within the course of an hour and a half! Needless to say, she was overwhelmed with joy and stated that it was such a wonderful start to her birthday. Since I have two sisters, along with their husbands, as well as my mother all living in the same area, we'll definitely be turning to Tamara's again and again. Thanks again, Michael. I live in Maryland and searched for flower shops near Pompano Beach. After reading the wonderful reviews, I chose Tamara's Flower Garden and I am not disappointed! I wanted to send flowers to my bestie that matched nicely with the color scheme and decor of her condo. Michael worked off a photo I sent. What he created was right on the mark! You would be a fool not to have Tamara's Flower Garden take care of your floral needs. AMAZING JUST AMAZING!! Micheal was so patient with me during the phone call. I am in Chicago IL and wanted to send some flowers to my friend in Florida. Spent $200 on a two orchid arrangement. It was not what I had asked for after seeing another order that they had done. Instead the customer service rep kept referring to their website pictures, which I didn't even know they had. For $200 ( which she said on ordering she gave me a new customer discount ) I expect much more. What we received you can pic up at any grocery store for 1/4 the price. read more
