Delray Beach GreenMarket is such a well-organized, lovely open-air market. It's easy to stroll, easy to browse, and it has that feel-good Saturday morning energy. There were tons of fresh fruits and veggies that looked genuinely local and just-picked, plus plenty of tasty BBQ and hot sauces to sample (dangerously easy to get hooked). And the honey stands were a highlight, with friendly bees buzzing around like they were giving their stamp of approval. What really stood out was how welcoming everyone was. So many vendors were happy to share the story behind what they're selling, and you can tell they're proud of it. We ended up grabbing a bottle of honey and a bottle of BBQ sauce and still didn't spend more than $20.00. Already can't wait to go back. read more

Lots of tourists and locals browsing the trinket and food booths on the grass of the Old School Square. Not the biggest Green Market event but a good variety of vendors only operating on Saturdays 9am - 2pm October thru May. The longest line was for the Brewing June Café where they were brewing lots of matcha. Plenty of dogs wandering about with their handlers. A good time here on a nice cold day. read more

It was so fun to be outside although it was lightly raining but it didn't stop me from enjoying all the music, and sampling food. Fresh produce, fruits, cheeses, empanadas, paella, honey and so much more. People were great and just happy to be outside. Support small and local business! With vendors ranging from pickle makers to artisan cheese, you are guaranteed to find something you love. Bring your dogs, family, and friends. I usually come for the tamales. They are so authentic and packed with flavor. The sauce is perfection. Other vendors I love: amore pasta-osso buco ravioli, produce with guacamole stand, gratitude farms- the mushrooms, and the bread stand-multigrain bread. You can pretty much do your grocery shopping here for the week if you wanted to. There are vendors that sell fresh seafood and meats like chicken and steak. There is also a bar where you can get spicy margaritas, bloody Mary's, rum and cokes, and more! They allow you to walk around with your drinks. An amazing produce stand and many interesting products! We thought the first produce stand had the best products.

My husband and I went here this past weekend. It was the perfect weather to go to this farmers market. Many vendors and so many selections of food and other things to buy. Everyone looked to be in good spirits. We unfortunately were not able to buy anything there but we really had an enjoyable time just walking around. So many people spread out and lining up and making their way to buy their favorite temptations, like fruits, Hungarian pretzels, honey, essential oils, orchards etc... Just to name a few of the kiosks that were available that day. It was the perfect day and I can't wait to go back. read more

Samples, samples, samples, and more samples! We had a great time this weekend at the Delray Green Market. There were tons of different vendors, and everyone was offering, you guessed it, samples. Some of our favorite vendors from the Yellow Green Market in Hollywood were there too! We ended up walking away with a garlic coffee steak salt from AB's gourmet chicken. Surprisingly, it was the best steak rub we have ever cooked with! I say surprisingly only because I was skeptical about the coffee flavor, but my boyfriend sampled it and said it was fantastic. Of course I had to stop by Nisha's Flavors of India - the BEST Indian food that I have ever found at any market. She also sells at the yellow green market. Just excellent. I also loved how dog friendly this market was. There were lots of dogs and even a stand selling dog treats. Plus, two shelters were advertising dogs I need of new homes. Love the Green Market! Great variety of vendors! We got there around 9 am today. Several vendors with bakery items. But there was only one that had reasonable prices; $2 pastries, $7 cheese strudel. There were also a few art booths. Free parking in lot until 4 pm. Witches of Delray also paraded through this morning, stopping at the stage. There was also live entertainment in the middle of the courtyard. Pets, kids welcomed. read more

Quality over quantity is what I say. While this is surely smaller than what you'd find in West Palm, I enjoyed myself a lot more. It was more dog friendly, more family friendly, and had great vendors. We found veggie burgers, paella (veggie paella too), Jewish baked goods, and more. This was vegetarian friendly and had yummy offerings. I had cream of crab soup for $6 that had big crab chunks and was delicious. There could've been more seating, but its location is by so many benches and places to sit, so it wasn't hard at all. This market is every Saturday from 9am-2! read more

Great downtown open air market filled with vendors offering a little bit of everything,the vegetables and fresh fruits are beautifully displayed allowing you to touch and smell their freshness. There is also a seafood vendor offering up fresh caught Florida seafood all the fish are caught locally and never frozen the shrimp are amazing as well, but it doesn't stop there you can grab fresh pastries and breads as well as breakfast items to enjoy while you shop. There are also a few trinket vendors and also one gentleman soliciting investment and financial advice he seemed to be the only aggressive vendor on the street and had trouble taking no for an answer but he finally got it. So glad the Delray Green Market is back for the season and better than ever might I add! More vendors, yummy treats, central location! This saturday was so pleasant because it was fall themed, Children and dogs alike dressed in their Halloween costumes. The weather was hot but there were plenty of options to cool down: fresh cut coconut water, bubble tea, acai bowls, cold tubs of chopped fruit. My favorite vendor was The Empanada Lady. The empanadas were the most delicate and creative looking, not to mention the most interesting selection of fillings. I went for the mozzarella, sweet onion and chorizo and it was divine. I really wanted the mozzarella, ham and heart of palm but that was already sold out. Overall it was a wonderful afternoon. Side note if you plan on going check online first as there are a few weekends coming up before xmas where it will be located elsewhere as the square will be occupied by other events. read more

I love the delray green market!! Every saturday 9-2 in downtown delray-within their season (usually oct to May). There is a wide variety of fruits and vegetables including tropical fruits such as dragon fruit, passion fruit, jack fruit and lychees. The prices are cheaper than Publix. There are several hummus and dip stands usually $5 each. Plenty of free samples. My favorite stand is the empanada lady! The offer 21 flavors from spicy chicken to curry beef and dessert options including guava and cheese and Nutella with bananas. The empanadas are $6 each and well worth it. Parking can be tough in this area I suggest getting their first thing in the morning before people start attending brunch at the neighboring restaurants and taking up all the street parking. read more

We've been visiting Delray Green Market every Saturday to pick up our week's produce. They offer a variety of produce vendors, but only one organic vendor. I really wish there were more organic options, as the vendor they DO have doesn't have a huge variety of vegetables, though something is better than nothing. I must still go to Whole Foods or Greenwise to pick up the rest of my produce, but purchase about 80% of it here. When the market opens in October, there are just a few tents. As the season continues, it seems that more and more tents pop up, offering more options. Besides produce vendors, there are typically vendors selling breads, olive oils, salsa, meats, seafood, candles, lotions, and even a rescue group. A band typically plays as well, and though this is a very small set-up, you can typically find some goodies here if you're just looking to hang out for an hour (there are a few tables where you can sit and nibble). We'll continue to support local businesses when we can, and hope the Delray Green Market grows! read more

Today there was only one fruit and veggie stand, but also vendors of oil and vinegar, honey, hot peppers, kombucha, cheese, nut butters, granola, baked goods, and street food as well as a live band. And best of all, you have the option of drawing out a coupon for $2-5 off your purchase!! This Green Market is a bit small compared to some of the farmers markets I frequented. The day I went it was moved TO SE 4th Ave instead of their usual location so it was only one block long. There were lots of produce and meat vendors. Many options for grass fed beef, chicken, lamb, and even bison. Very cool. There were also two vendors that sold fresh seafood including salmon, tilapia, Mahi Mahi, crab, shrimp. There was two vendors that sold pastries, cake and bread. I bought a broccoli and Bacon quiche from the first bread booth from two Russia ladies. It was taken out of a fridge and microwaved. For $7, I'd expect it to be hot and toasty but it was cold and stale. Wasn't very satisfying. I went on to buy a fresh coconut ($4) from a juice vendor. There was a lot of coconut water inside but it was overall not very ripe yet. The local honey vendor had plenty of options. I was hung between the pomelo and wild flower honey and ended up buying wild flower. One small bottle was $5.75. I will go back on a normal day when it's held at the Old School and try this market again. read more
