Was a great market with lots of options and live music . We got a juice for $12 that was made fresh in front of you you chose which vegetables and fruit you wanted. Paella with the seafood was $18 for 16 ounces olives $10 for 6 ounces some of the things were very expensive, but worth it and fresh. A nice day out even if you weren't going to buy anything just to walk around and listen to the music. read more

It was a nasty overcast cloudy morning, I thought a perfect time to visit the Delray Green market. It's hard to believe I moved here six years ago, this is 6 miles away and I've never been. We found a free parking spot a bock away. This green market is a Saturday morning destination, an open air marketplace at Old School Square off Swinton & Atlantic Avenues. During the summers, they're open from 9 until 1:00, October through May 9 until 2:00 o'clock. There are over 50 vendors here featuring farm to fork produce, fish, meats, orchids, just picked citrus and juice, farm fresh eggs, milk & butter, artisan baked goods, fresh cut flowers, plants, and gourmet prepared foods with live musical entertainment weekly. After :90 we couldn't eat nor carry any more. We left with fresh pompano from Captain Clay, lots of pristine organic produce, mango honey, fresh spinach fettuccine, and pistachio butter. Prices were high but quality gourmet items usually are. There was a police presence here. The Beatles Tribute band were in costume & performed through out. Everyone was friendly & courteous and the beautiful dogs were leashed and well behaved. read more

Went to the big west Palm farmers market a couple weeks ago so wanted to try this one next. Definitely a lot smaller but still had many options for sweet and savory. Got this apricot thing from the French bakery and it was so amazing, didn't think it was going to be as good as it was. My favorite of the day. Then went to another bakery and had the chocolate cigar, coconut donut, and crumb cake. The cigar was good and interesting. Donut was average. Crumb cake wasn't good it was really just a pound cake with a little crumb on top. Got a mango pineapple juice and that was nice and refreshing. Paella was yummy and filled with seafood. read more

Been coming to the Green Market for years! It's such a fun thing to do on a saturday morning. There's something for everybody! There are countless vendors with incredible quality products that you can only find at the Delray Green Market. Snacks, pastries, coffee, breakfast, lunch, etc! Everyone is so nice and samples are given at many booths. The area is very pet friendly and families are welcome too. The atmosphere is always lively and everyone is calmly walking around. read more

Popular event with lots of vendors. Produce of all types, honey, spices, pickles. Candles, a cheese monger, hot foods, seafood and live music. An interesting observation: Vendors with prices posted have customers lined up, while unlisted price vendors have lookers but not much trade going on (at least during my visit). I asked about a basket of 3 Passion fruits... $10 for the three. ( I know where to come during my next harvest!) read more

SMALL. After attending the WPB Farmer's Market all winter and spring, I was expecting more out of the Delray market. Very, very small (maybe 20 vendors). Close-by parking, dog friendly, few stands to buy homemade crafts or food from. Would not return to this Farmer's Market any time soon. read more

We had a great time at this Farmer's Market located right next to downtown Delray. Parking is a little iffy, it was packed when we got there around noon. It's open on Saturdays until around 2pm. There was an abandoned fast food place next door where lots of people - including us - found parking. It was safe.... As for the market. It's delightful. I looked the place up in order to find some good natural honey - and we were fortunate to find a fantastic one there from Florida Honeybees - Iam Hedendal. It's delicious. We took home two jars. I also enjoyed tasting a wide variety of hot sauces from the Boca Hillbilly, and went home with a Rasta Ginger Spicy sauce that I'm enjoying. The place is very pet friendly, and it was fun to walk around. Downtown is very nice and scenic right next to it. Combine it with the pinball museum and you have a fun day in Delray. read more

One of my favorite places on a Saturday morning. Grab a coffee and walk through the aisles filled with local fresh food, produce. flowers and crafts. This open air market is open from 9 - 2 on Saturdays until May 22 and located right in Old School Square Park off of Atlantic Ave and Swinton. There's usually plenty of street parking that you can pay with the ParkMobile app and it runs about $1 an hour. There are vendors selling everything from french baked goods (including a booth with french pastries and the most amazing croissants!), homemade soaps, coffee, fresh seafood and this time of year, a Florida big plus...snow crab. Beautiful fresh flowers, kettlecorn (made right on site), fresh fruits (cut up in containers to go), cheeses and paella. The produce vendors have fresh locally grown vegetables and fruit and in season, my favorite, star fruit which is usually hard to find in the grocery store. A big shout out and totally 5 Stars goes to my favorite vendor, Cristina from A Touch of Spain. Cristina and her husband Gianni own A Touch of Spain Catering, which is amazing if you need a private chef or a great caterer ( I will have another review for this soon). I love Cristina! She has to be the best vendor in the market. She is so nice and helpful and if you like olives, this is a MUST STOP! Before Covid, there were giant vats of fresh marinated olives, now everything is prepackaged but it is just as fresh and delicious. She also has a little refrigerator with a variety of THE BEST fresh olive tapenade. Pick up a jar or two and enjoy this culinary delight with fresh bread and a glass of wine, you won't be sorry. Bring your family it's a great place to walk around. Dogs are welcome too. read more

Love a cute weekend farmers market. In town visiting my parents for thanksgiving, so we came by here on Saturday. There was a bunch of free parking in a lot across the street. Up front there's a bunch of prepared food vendors. My dad got a $25 crab cake which he said was tasty but not worth the price. My sister enjoyed her conch fritters which they fried up right in front of her. My mom enjoyed a chicken wrap. I was sad I missed the breakfast empanadas. Inside there's a couple of fresh fruit and veggie vendors, we tried star fruit for the first time. I got an acai bowl from inside which was very big (just the regular size) and a tumeric matcha latte which was super yummy. There were also 2 fresh fish vendors, we bought from one and cooked that for dinner last night, very fresh! There's a bunch of other Vendors around, mostly food type items. read more

The Delray Green Market is set up in Old School Square adjacent to the Pineapple Arts District. There is free parking in the city garage only a few steps away which is very convenient. The market was started in 1996 by the Community Redevelopment Agency. It is open every Saturday from 9-2 until May. The market reopened on October 26th for its 24th season. I did not pick perhaps the best day to visit. On the day I went it was drizzling and there seemed to be far less than the 65 vendors that I had read about. It was nice the Old School Square giant holiday tree set up. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The vendors that I did see were selling produce, snow crabs, honey, orchids, and artisan granola. The market is supposed to be a gathering of farmers, bakers, and crafts people. In addition, entertainment, arts and crafts, and other activities are offered. During my visit I purchased a delicious tomato and mozzarella hand held pie from Artpie and bagels and other baked goods from a rainy day sale. I think I would have to come back on a sunny day for the full experience of this market. There was also an art fair going on in front of the Cornell Art Museum during my visit. I love the location, there is always a ton of cool things happening on Atlantic Ave. The free parking is also enticing. I am sure I'll be back. read more

We were in the area for lunch and stopped by to check out the local Vendors at the market place. There was a decent choice of foods and other local items such as soap and honey. I was looking for local honey from all over Florida for the longest and was able to stumble upon this great spot that offers honeys infused with blueberry, local bee pollen and pure manuka honey. We were glad to visit here to support our local businesses! read more

Google map does not direct you to the correct place so be sure to follow instructions on the website. It is located in Old School Square Park. My friend and I came here for a late breakfast. When we finally found it, the market seemed really small without many ready-to-eat foods. As we took another lap around, we realized they were tucked all around the market and looked more carefully. There was a stand for stone crab, baked goods, many other stalls for food and goods. We ended up landing on delicious duck and pork belly buns for $8. They were messy but worth it. I was still craving something else so I also ordered a tamale for $4 which was one of the best I've ever had. If I lived here, I would have one every weekend. When it reopens, you should definitely visit it. read more
