They able to get our car in right away, diagnose the problem--a faulty sensor, get the part from another location, fix the issue, and get us back on the road in just over two hours. Instead of waiting in the shop, one of the guys drove us to a local diner so we could have breakfast. Not only was it incredible service, but they only charged us for the part and a half-hour of labor! I almost feel like we were lucky to have the problem in Onalaska so we could receive the excellent service from Dee's Auto Care Specialists.

The swollen issue is known to Ford so basically they are passing the cost of their crappy lug nuts on to the customer. As a single female driving from Chicago to south central Minnesota, my Audi Q7 Run Flat tire lost pressure in the dark due to a puncture and after temporarily using the Audi-provided sealant and air compressor while pulled off on I90, I was able to safely hobble a return to a hotel in Onalaska and get a new tire quickly the next morning at Discount Tire. A couple of years ago, I had my tires changed. They offer to do the wipers as well and I had them changed too. My wipers started hitting down on the edge of my hood towards the windshield. He hit so much when I used them that it started wearing the paint off! The only thing Discount Tire did was look at the wipers. Didn't offer anything else. How about what happened to my hood?! Couple years moving forward, I needed to get my tires changed again. Started with a puncture in my tire. One worker came out and used some scanning thing to check the tread on my tires. Even after it was taken to the shop, NO ONE told me how balled all of my tires were on the inside wall of my tires! Irritating! They were able to get me a certificate for it. I was taken care of my Chan. Pretty nice guy until I spoke with him on the phone when I mentioned the price of my tires. Long story short, he started throwing guilt my way as if I wasn't grateful. Needless to say that ticked me off. I was asking questions, not wanting to "free stuff." I don't tolerate anyone guilting me. It was basically over the fact that no one told me about the tread of my other tires and the Chan telling me that he would see what he could do after talking to his manager. Discount Tire doesn't do appointments and it's first come first serve which I hate! I work out of town and I work all day. It's hard for me to do a first come first serve cause they're always busy or about to close. They also told me it would be over 200+. I called Cordell's and they are able to do my alignment cheaper, like 100 bucks cheaper! Cordell's also offers a shuttle if you need it which is included! Andddddddd they take appointments!!!! Needless to say after all of this, I'm taking my business to Cordell's!! As I do realize people have different experiences, and could be positive, unfortunately mine with Discount Tire was not. Keep in mind this is a Upper Midwestern store, expect those sorts of values associated with it. I've seen other people complain about sometimes the lines are a little longer, expect that in any traditional hardware or feed store, you usually chat it up a little bit while conducting business, there's no self checkout. Just enjoy it, don't be in such a rush, and catch up with the cashier on the Packers Game last Sunday.
