The teachers and staff there are very supportive of the child's growth and needs. The school also offers a nice playground in the back and a large open grass area in front of the school for kids to play and explore nature during playtime. In addition to regular class activities, Village Little also offers educational sports programs where kids can enroll weekly. These programs introduce kids to a variety of sports, build confidence, and help them develop a love of fitness from a young age. My daughter comes home and shows us what she learned that week, and it puts a smile on our faces that she had fun and learned something new each week. Village Little also goes above and beyond during special holidays and summer to provide meaningful events for the kids. For example, while my daughter was there, they hosted a petting zoo day where locals brought in small animals (rabbits, sheep, turtles, etc.), bouncing house day where kids can jump in spacious and good quality bounce houses with slides, a magic day where kids saw a magician demonstrate various magic tricks, etc. My daughter loved all these special events and had a great time. My daughter had a great time at VL, and we were very pleased with the school overall.

Liz has done a great job of creating a warm, safe, and structured place for children to learn, play, and grow. My daughter started there at 16 months, and on her very first day felt so comfortable and welcomed, that as soon as she saw the inside of FSLH and felt its warmth, she walked right in and didn't even look back to say goodbye! Not to say there weren't some tough days, as it can be challenging for young kids to understand that parents have to work, but Liz and her staff are all so loving and nurturing, and keep the children so engaged with fun learning activities and play time, that the children, much like mine, quickly adapt. Fast forward through the infant/ toddler programs to her recent "graduation" from the FSLH preschool program at age 4, and my daughter knows her letters, numbers , and knows how to write her name-- she is so ready for TK! I should mention that Liz and her staff also provide instruction in Spanish, so my daughter was able to learn and practice two languages while there. Also provided are two delicious and healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) and an afternoon snack, which my daughter and her FSLH friends enjoyed, but was also such a huge help and relief for me, as a busy single working Mom, not to have to worry about preparing those meals. As a first time Mom, I also felt very fortunate to have the support of someone like Liz with years of experience as a Mom, educator, and a daycare provider...and so I feel I learned a lot from FSLH, as did my daughter. Most importantly, and the best part of First Steps Learning Home, is that the staff always made my daughter feel so loved and special, from the moment she walked through the door every morning at drop off, until it was time to say goodbye at pick-up. Thank you, Ms. Liz, Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Paola and all of the wonderful FSLH staff throughout the years that made my daughter's daycare/preschool experience such a success and one that we will always cherish.

Miss Liz and Miss Alejandra have been exceptional in their care and attention. Their genuine affection for each child is apparent in everything they do. They create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where each child feels valued and loved. Their dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment is truly commendable. The family-like feel of the daycare is something I particularly cherish. There's a palpable sense of community and connection among the staff, children, and parents. It's this environment that has made my son's time here so enriching and joyful. My son and I do not speak Spanish so I can't overlook the incredible benefit of my son becoming bilingual thanks to the immersive language experience at First Steps Learning. The language-rich environment provided by Miss Liz has played a crucial role in his language development, and I couldn't be happier with his progress. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better daycare experience for my son. First Steps Learning has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on my sons growth and development. If you're looking for a place where your child will be cared for, cherished, and encouraged to learn and thrive, I highly recommend First Steps Learning. We miss you FSL!!!

They each have spent 3 years under her care from i.e. 7m to 3.5 years, till they were ready for school. She and her team are well organized and are very flexible. She partners with you in ensuring that the kids are learning and having fun. The premises are clean and safe, with access to different types of toys / books / play structures. My kids have had a great time and we could see the all round development. She has made it easier for us in teaching them various skills. She adapts to the child and helps them work through things. We highly recommend BuzyTots ! and are very thankful to Sapna for all her help.

My daughter was very happy the entire time she was there and sapna is very accommodating and responsive. She exposed my daughter to variety of home cooked foods and I really appreciate that, since she was exposed to all variety of foods from the beginning she isn't a picky eater. She makes the kids pretty independent as well whether it's cleaning up after playing or eating your own food. If there is anything you prefer being done any other way you can just let her know and she is very accommodating and will do it your way. She has a lot of experience with young kids and you can discuss any issue/ challenges you are facing regarding your kid and she can give you lot of suggestions based on experience. Even though my daughter doesn't go there anymore I still ask sapna if I need help with my daughter at home. We even sent our son there for a brief amount of time and would've liked him to continue there but the daycare was closed for a little while. Happy that a good quality daycare is opening again and we would really recommend her daycare.

Going with Theresa's was the best decision we could have made - Theresa, David and Sharon have always given my daughter (and now my son) the best care possible. During her 2.5 years at Theresa's she learned how to speak and sing in Chinese, was potty trained, and play well with others. Theresa's daycare offers both lunch and dinner, which is awesome knowing that the kids are already well fed once we pick them up in the evening. My daughter has graduated from Theresa's now, but she still misses "Ah-yi" and asks about her and the remaining friends often. If you're looking for a family daycare with teachers who truly care for your kids like their own, I'd highly recommend Theresa's!

Through the past 2.5 years Theresa's DC has been a truly lifesaver for our family. As the first time parent, we didn't have much knowledge in terms of raising child, plus both my husband and myself have a busy working schedule. Theresa has deep knowledge on how to take care and educate younger kids. My son started walking pretty late and couldn't walk when he first started. Theresa and Sharon treated him with patience and I've seen many times when we picked him up, they were holding his hands and teaching him how to walk. In couple of months after he started at Theresa's, he could walk by himself (and we didn't teach him at home). Later on he also learned the numbers, 26 letters, share toys with others, got potty trained, etc. In the morning when weather is good, they usually take the kids to the nearby park to get some exercise and sunshine. Another plus is that they serve both lunch dinner. So we didn't need to cook for my son after we picked him up. During the pandemic, Theresa's DC has been extremely cautious to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and their families. We felt very fortunate that our son stayed there during COVID. I would definitely recommend Theresa's Family Daycare to all the parents that are looking for childcare for their younger ones!

I don't recommend any parents send their infant to this provider because of two reasons: 1. The infant room is SUPER noisy, and teachers let infants cry. I don't know why but it's always very noisy no matter what time I visit. Sometimes teachers are so busy and let multiple kids cry for a long time. My son usually doesn't cry at home and all nannies say he is a very calm boy, but after the first day in this daycare, he cried too much and lost his voice when he was back home. 2. It's not a good environment to take naps. Crib area is next to activity area so the napping area is also noisy. My son usually has 1.5 hour long nap at home. I understand it might be different in daycare, but he never took a nap longer than 30mins there, and every night he looks exausted back home. I do appreciate teachers' hard work because taking care of infants is not easy. I also like how easy to go outside from the infant room. However, compare to some other providers, this is not an ideal choice for infants. Hope this review can be helpful for some new parents, especially if you are considering Broght Horizons, I suggest to take tours in other locations so you will have better ideas.

I highly recommend Karen at Cupertino Little Stars. My daughter has been going to daycare here for…read moreover a year now, and she is really flourishing. When our daughter started as an infant, Karen would put her in the outdoor porch swing and sing songs to her and interact with her all day. As our daughter has grown, the interactions have changed of course but never the amount of attention or care. She is a year and a half now and she already knows the entire alphabet as well as her colors, her shapes and literally too many songs to count (with motions - adorable!). She is very verbal and she has a fantastic vocabulary which we credit largely to Karen's care. When we were looking for a daycare, things that were important to us included a safe and loving environment, good communication w/ the provider, value on books, reading and learning and a good amount of outside play. Karen provides all that and so much more to her small group of children at her home. She really goes above and beyond to tailor her care to each individual child. My daughter is a picky eater, for example, and Karen is very aware of that, even making her some special 'veggie bread' so she is getting at least some vegetables in her day! Karen has a large front yard with countless pieces of play equipment for the kids, and they spend hours outside on nice days, which my daughter loves. We could not be happier with the care we receive from Karen at Cupertino Little Stars. Her rates are very reasonable, and you will not find a more caring place for your child!

I must say that Karen has been a Godsend to our family! The care she gives through her daycare &…read morepreschool, Cupertino Little Stars, is phenomenal. The environment there is so loving that the kids become family as well as best friends to each other. Along with social skills, they also learn academics with learning letters & numbers, reading & writing, math skills, as well as music and arts. That seems like a lot, but she has a scheduled day and brings it all out in a casual but consistent manner that is not forced on the kids. They have the flexibility to not participate and choose to do something else (but they usually do end up joining in when they see the other kids working on things). Some weeks my kids would come home with lots of worksheet pages, and other weeks not so much - usually because they either wanted to read more books or simply had lots of energy and wanted to play more. You'd think that giving kids freedom to choose either academic work or playing, they'd choose playtime every time, but that just isn't the case. Both my kids were reading at 3 years old under Karen's care. I have 3 kids total, my oldest in school already when we moved to the area. My middle child was 3 when he started at Cupertino Little Stars and my youngest was 1. The 3 year old was very active and very emotionally sensitive (he loves giving hugs), so his terrible two's stage overlapped into three's a little, which was a concern for us and Karen said let's try it out. After a couple of weeks, she said "He's fine!" and he was. Because of the way she attends to the kids and personalizes their care, she let's them be themselves. She doesn't tolerate bad behavior, but she acknowledges that kids are kids and express themselves differently. I don't know, something about the calm way she is in itself seems to generate a calming affect to the kids. And another thing is that there is so much love, compassion, and care among her with the kids, as well among the kids with each other. They care for one another as friends as much as she cares for them As parents, I know there is always a concern about home daycares as opposed to center daycares, and I have had positive experiences with both. Bottom line, I'd choose Karen's home daycare over any center daycare any day, hands down. Her house is clean, she has every possible toy available to them, as well as a large outdoor play area. She potty trains for heavens sake, and at no additional charge! All meals are included, and she accommodates for special dietary needs. She maintains her home as a nut-free zone if needed, and she incorporates the holidays of all the kids' cultures during the year in their projects and activities. Needless to say, we will be sad when my youngest goes to kindergarten, but I know that she will be both emotionally as well as academically prepared for it, just as her brother was.
