Every year Chris does this examination and he usually finds a few things he characterizes as pre-cancerous. That doesn't mean cancer exists but that certain little bumps can go south. He always gives them a good freeze and in a week or so they are gone. I did have to wait in the reception area for one hour past my appointment time. Chris gave me a sincere apology. What the heck; I'm retired! Do I have something better to do? Maybe! I strongly recommend Advanced Dermatology for any skin issues.

You go to some central booking service, wait several minutes, talk to a rep, who transfers you to the actual office location. They don't answer the phone so you leave message and don't get a call back. You try again, repeating the whole aggravation procedure. Supposedly you will receive a link to rebook, but the link never comes. So the 3rd time, still no results. Online on the website is the only result I got to cancel thru the virtual chat. I had to do that twice because I needed to cancel for both me and my spouse and the virtual chat can only do one at a time. I bet I wasted an hour and a half of my time trying to cancel. I was going to reschedule, but I decided that I'm done here. Will search for a more reliable, patient-friendly place.

My diagnosis was later identified with PCR/ molecular testing. I had a slow growing, unusual mold infection that was life threatening. Fungal culture doesn't always grow out organisms. If this doctor had been a good listener and truly wanted to help me he could have gotten the state or CDC involved to see why my skin had become black and why I had lesions on my skin. So many times minorities are treated very badly by physicians and ignored. I would not recommend Dr Peterson.

When I arrived, the PA was very unfriendly and seemed nervous. She told me that it was office policy NOT to do a biopsy on the same visit with freezing Ak's. I was disappointed because I clearly told the scheduler what I needed when making the appointment. I am in my 60's and I have never heard of that policy before. The PA also refused to treat several areas that I circled to have sprayed. They were red and scaly and sore - clearly AK's. She also sprayed very lightly so I will have to see about having them redone. She asked me several times about a body check which I did not need and tried to push their products on me which is understandable. I will not be returning to this office.

Dr McFadden was so uncaring as he removed the stitches. I cried through the whole ordeal as he dug the stitches out! When he finished, he never said a word to me before he walked out! I was so traumatized from the whole experience that I canceled having a tummy tuck with a different provider. I need a third surgery but it will not be with Dr McFadden!
