Couldn't get a refund out of these people to save my life. Nor could I get them to pay for my rental car. F*ck delta.

This is the main American Airlines customer service' (Toll Free) phone number: 1(855)-657-60.02…read more It's toll-free line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for flight reservations, ticket changes, cancellations, baggage inquiries, refund requests, check-in assistance, and other travel-related needs. As a frequent traveler and one world Emerald member, I generally enjoy complimentary seat selection benefits when flying with partner carriers. However, my recent experience with Royal Jordanian was disappointing. I paid an additional $140 to reserve what appeared to be a two-seat row for my wife and me. Upon boarding, we discovered that the row actually contained three seats, which made the extra charge feel unjustified, especially since no traveler willingly pays more for a middle seat. The onboard seating experience was also uncomfortable. My assigned seat, 6K, lacked sufficient cushioning, making it difficult to sit comfortably during the journey. I had to use extra pillows and blankets to support my back and reduce discomfort throughout the flight. Customer service before departure was equally frustrating. I contacted one office for information regarding my flight and aircraft, only to be transferred to another department. After several phone calls and multiple referrals between different offices, I eventually reached someone who provided the information I originally requested. The process was unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. While the aircraft itself was modern and visually impressive, and several flight attendants worked hard to assist passengers, the overall cabin environment left much to be desired. Restrooms became untidy early in the flight, with cleanliness issues that negatively affected the travel experience. Combined with the service challenges I encountered, the journey did not meet my expectations.

I would rate it zero or minus three if Yelp allowed it…read more It took three hours to go from a United arrival to a United connecting flight in Newark. It took an hour to get our luggage and the recheck machinery was broken and we had to go up two flights to catch a train to another terminal. The United people then put us in the wrong TSA line. The worst part is we had bought first class tickets to Rome so we did not have to put up with such horrors

Bag was over 50 lbs by "2lbs" and woman said she was going to have to charge my wife 100 dollars. My wife said that she could remove a printer and carry it. She proceeded to quickly make the switch. Suitcase now weighed 48 lbs. Woman turned real rude like she was pissed off that my wife didn't just say and ok and plunk 100 bucks down on the counter. Wife said thank you and left, not understanding why the woman was being that nasty, but feeling that this has to do with a subject she would rather not mention. Then she gets to her destination and her bag, "just her bag" isn't there. She's still waiting. If you are going to have mean, vindictive, racist women behind the counter, do the world a favor and tell your customers to prepare to deal with someone being a complete bitch to a customer. Next time I promise she will be wearing a hidden video recorder to send to management so they can see how their staff is representing them in public. Pathetic, petty, mean and vindictive. United scores a zero minus zero with us at BTR. She should be easy to identify Only "her, a woman" and a man behind the counter at 8:00 am today Sept 29th at 8am. More irony. Next United employee she talked to at her final destination United Counter, and told about the behavior of the woman says, "I'm sorry to say, but, it happens." Really United? Maybe you guys should take some of that profit and invest in a HR recommended program designed to teach your employees how to behave in public. Signed Extremely pissed off Update: 7 pm central time - bag still not there, 5 hours and counting. so she can hop in car and drive 3 hours to her final destination.

I took Uber twice on my stay in Baton Rouge, LA during the first week of June 2016. I gotta say…read morethat it's one of the best innovation since the invention of the iPhone! Thankful for Uber for being the alternative to taxis. One of the reasons why I love Uber is the timeliness of arrival and the friendliness of the driver. Even at 3:00am in the morning, there was an uber driver willing and able to pick me up and drive me to the BTR airport for a 5:30am flight out to ATL. The first instance of using uber in Baton Rouge was upon arrival at the airport on a random Wednesday June 1, 2016. Some cities do not allow airport pickups from the terminal / baggage claim itself, but apparently Baton Rouge allows this and uber drivers are there not advertising themselves that they're there. I found that out when my driver pointed that out to me. I assumed the no airport pick up rule and walked about 1/2 mile away from the airport terminal to schedule an Uber pick up. The ease of scheduling the pick up was flawless and you just need to point the pin to your location, put your destination in, and request the ride. Can't be any simpler than that! The ride from the airport for the first Uber ride to my destination, a car rental place on Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, was fast and nice. The driver didn't have to make any detours. The driver was interesting and fun. He was funny and it seemed like he loved life while driving full time for uber at the present time. Uber can be found anywhere they drive, although you may want to check their website before flying to that destination, since I had come across previous places in Canada where they're not there and I didn't know. Everything is through the Uber app, which can be found online through your device's online App Store. You plug your credit card in the settings and you'll get immediately charged for the ride. It's pretty simple. I usually use uber when car rental prices are usually freaking higher than what I normally pay, so booking an off airport rental car agency was the next best thing then using uber to facilitate the move from airport to destination. Not sure what rates that they use, but there's an ride estimator / approximate tool on the uber app that will let you know how much you ride will cost - relatively speaking. Compared to a taxi, this is probably one of the best modes of transportations you can go with that's fast and convenient, without breaking the bank. While car rentals and the public transit can be usually better in their own respects, Uber and other ride sharing services are great for those who are on the go but don't want to spend extra for traditional taxi services. The other Uber ride used in my time here in Baton Rouge is that of the 3am Uber ride to the airport from my hotel. So so glad that Uber is there 24 hours a day. The lady who picked me up was nice and had to ask for my name first before getting in. It's a safety precaution that's always needed just in case something we're to go down at 3am in the morning. The second ride was pleasant and positive. Enjoyed this ride and thankful for those uber drivers who are available at those hours. For what it's worth, uber is a great service to the community at large. While traditional taxi companies are complaining, it's a good way for private individuals to make extra money by doing ride share programs with their own vehicles. Often times, taxi cabs are kind of nasty, but riding with uber drivers are always nice. Drivers that I've encountered are friendly and have a nice outlook on life. 5 stars for sure. They keep Baton Rouge on the go! Support local! A++

I was leaving that day from Louisiana to take a greyhound bus to Chattanooga Tennessee. When I realized I left my purse in her Uber I did everything I could to get it back before I got on that bus, but I couldn't get in touch with her. She basically stole my purse. I offered to send her money to ship it to me, but she refused. At one point she told me she was going to throw my purse away! Customer Service was absolutely no help at all. I had all of my important documents in my wallet.. Drivers license, Social Security card, and credit cards, Everything I needed. I also had other stuff in my purse. I really wanted to Get back. I was very disappointed in Uber and especially in the Uber driver.

If you're looking for Spirit Airlines in the form of a hotel, you're at the right place…read more I've lived in Baton Rouge since Hurricane Katrina before moving to Houston in March 2018, and I've passed The Shades Motel almost daily. I had never thought too much of it; it's an old-school, unassuming, mid-century modern motel along the unofficial Red Light District in the Capital City. For years, I figured it was a makeshift brothel much like a similar...um...deca-flagged inn one mile north (if you're from Baton Rouge, you'll get it). I was completely wrong. The Shades Motel is a nice, quaint, no-frills motel whose footprint is much bigger than you'll see from the street. They have vending, ice and laundry machines, and the rooms clearly had some sort of renovation in recent years. I needed to return to Baton Rouge to surprise a former coworker in the hospital. On a tight budget from a slow month of work, I took a leap of faith and booked with The Shades Motel through Travelocity, where they have a 4.1/5 rating with nine reviews. I already knew where the motel was located, but even for an actual traveler, it's easy to get to because it's on Airline Highway (U.S. 61), the busiest drag in the city. My room was $55 for the night, $63 including taxes, etc., with check-in/check-out being 11 a.m. My transaction with the older Indian man at the desk was easy-peasy, and I proceeded to my room in the middle of the complex with my key and my belongings. Again, this is a motel, so each room, for all intents and purposes, has its own parking. My single king room was clean, smelled great and was equipped with local Cox cable, WiFi with the password was on the back of the TV remote, a sofa, a desk and *especially* a microwave and fridge. I am a huge germaphobe--possibly OCD--and I felt clean and safe enough to go barefoot in the room and in the shower. Naturally, the clientele weren't among the 1%, but they weren't anyone I felt threatened by at all, either. The bed was about what you'd expect from a no-frills motel--comfortable enough--and there was no shortage of towels. There was even the requisite Holy Bible in one of the nightstands. It was a great place to stuff my face, lay my head and commiserate about my life while bitterly watching my former coworkers at the local NBC/Fox affiliate... A little more about the location, The Shades Motel is located in the geographic heart of the Red Stick (Baton Rouge), just north of Florida Blvd./U.S. 190 and Airline Highway/U.S. 61. Sans traffic, you're about 20 minutes from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, 20 minutes from the sprawling Mall of Louisiana, 20 minutes from downtown and the museums, and just over 10 minutes from Mid City, a large district home to great shopping, antiques and dining. But if you're into abandoned places as I am, you're walking distance from Cortana Mall. Formerly The Mall at Cortana, it was once a booming complex as recently as the late 2000s, now empty with locals walking about, pointing out which stores used to be where. I worked there at Aeropostale during the 2008 holiday season, and even did some shopping at Macy's before they closed in 2016. As uncanny as it sounds, the vacant Cortana Mall is definitely an attraction, but it's also worthy of a rebirth. Either way, you can still grab some deals at the Dillard's Clearance Center, one of the three remaining tenants and the only remaining retailer, or find a few other things at the stores along the perimeter. After a night of rest and reminiscing, I checked out promptly at 11 a.m. completely satisfied. This motel is conveniently located and included everything I needed, all while giving me a sense of safety and cleanliness at the right price. For my eventual next visit to Baton Rouge, I will definitely be checking in at The Shades Motel. Who knows? I might snatch up the Jacuzzi room. Just make sure to grab some Chinese at Gold Bowl down the street, my review here on Yelp. You're welcome.
