Having a car reservation does not mean you have a car available when you arrive here. My reservation was made a week in advance and I was scheduled to be picked up at 9 am. At the body shop. An Enterprise associate showed up at that time and there were 2 of us waiting. He did not have names of who he was picking up and told us he was there to get both of us. When arriving at the store, I was told I was at the wrong location (after spending time being checked in, etc). After some time, they transported me to a second location. Of course this location did not have a vehicle available. At this point I am seriously late for work. The associate did not even apologize, and I had to go through the whole check-in process again. I was finally given a vehicle that turns out has acceleration problems. Overall experience was painful to say the least. read more

I rented a car from here for a bout 2 1/2 weeks while my car was getting some collision work. The entire staff at this location from picking me up and actually renting the car and the returning of the car and driving me back to pickup my car all of the employees but especially the young lady that handled my rental and drove me back to get my car were beyond friendly, helpful and professional in every way. I rented a car from the 8329 Airline Parkway Baton Rouge location for a week, when I picked the car up it reeked of marijuana I thought ok just ride with the windows down it will go away three day's later it still had a strong smell so I called them to inform them of the situation, they responded that's impossible that they knew the last two people that rented that car ??? They then said how quick can you get the car back to us I replied with in the hour I then told one of my workers to take the car back to them being a business owner and caring commercial insurance. When he arrived they walked over to him ask for the key's he handed them to them, they said your not supposed to be driving the car you all will be blocked from renting a car from Enterprise everywhere in the U.S. for life. They showed no concern on the smell in the car they then walked back inside locking the door behind them due to Covid19 leaving my employ stranded in there parking lot plus the rest of us stranded on the job sight. My experienced started out as a long one, with a hold-up on my turn to be waited on, to delays in the processing of the car afterward. It appeared they hadn't washed it yet before assigning it. That day was particularly busy. Because I patiently waited, the supervisor discounted my prepaid fuel fee. That made the wait worthwhile. The attendants always remained courteous and polite. I am writing this review on behalf of a friend who is too kind to post about his terrible experience with Enterprise Car Rental at 8329 Airline Parkway in Baton Rouge. Before arriving to Enterprise, he tried calling several times throughout the week to ensure that his rental would be ready, and to discuss his reservation. Never once did someone answer the telephone when he called. Upon arrival on Friday morning to pick up his car rental that he reserved a week prior, and after waiting in a line for forty five minutes, hearing the same phone ring over and over and over with no one answering, he was told that his car would be around shortly. When they brought the car around, the rental had a donut spare tire on it. I don't even know what to think about that other than it had to have been a joke. After he politely asked for another vehicle, the woman at the counter said that none of their vehicles were clean or ready for rental. Clearly, if he made a reservation a week prior, AND there was a line of customers there to pick up vehicles, on a Friday morning before the weekend, they had to know they needed to get the vehicles ready for pick up. After he asked if he could just rent a car and not get it cleaned, she told him it wasn't their policy to rent dirty vehicles; apparently it is within their policy to keep customers waiting, not answer their telephone, offer cars with spare tires on it, and keep dirty vehicles on their lot. Upon return, the car lot was closed before their posted/scheduled hours and he needed to keep the car overnight. When he returned the vehicle the next day after work, they refused him a travel transport back to his home; an option that Enterprise clearly offers in their rental agreement. I am so sorry to say this happened to my friend. After hearing about this experience, I question ever using Enterprise again. Especially if and when I travel to and from Baton Rouge. The ONLY reason this review is receiving one star is because giving zero stars wasn't an option. read more

I came to this enterprise because my car needed to be serviced. I wss picked up by the salesmen Jared. Although he was a little late getting me he was very kind and sweet. He kept a great conversation all the way through the process of me getting my rental. He even gave me options of what kind of car I wanted. I explained to him the things I desired such as Bluetooth and reverse camera. Jared delivered with both! I'd definitely recommend this enterprise. When I arrived at the airport. I thought I reserved my car there. Turns out that I had to travel 26 minutes to the other location on airline hwy in Baton Rouge. That was the first thing to happen. Although the lady at the airport was very nice and willing to give me another rental but not at the price I reserved. She asked for my insurance card and license ONLY but after telling me the difference I declined and went to the other location that I reserved and didn't realize. So I get to this place on airline hwy. I can't remember the guys name may have been a manger but he was very rude and unprofessional. I not only had to give my insurance card and ID but I had to call my place of employment to verify that I worked there otherwise he wouldn't give me a rental. Also my bill didn't match my ID.. So again he said he couldn't give me a rental. I can't help that I recently moved for crying out loud. At this point I'm furious. As I've come all the way from Chicago and can't get a rental to get to my destination. So once I called my job which I shouldn't had to was rung up for a fee given through Expedia. I called Expedia a few days prior asking if there would be any kind of deposit fees because I only have a certain amount on my card. I was told no ma'am the only thing you will have to pay is the $198. WRONG it was $198 plus the $250 dollar deposit and I only had cash on me, which I couldn't use as a deposit only a card. The only ATM for me to deposit cash was 1 1/2 hrs away in which two of the employees laughed about. So I had to catch an Uber all of the way to New Orleans which was $127. Not happy at all. So I will never book anything else through expedia or deal with enterprise again, especially the crappy one on airline hwy. We rented a brand new car that the a/c did not work in but when we returned it they said we had a ding on the windshield & they wanted to charge us $200 for damages! This is ridiculous!!! Picked me up with no issues. I was given a brand new SUV, and the car was great. I kept the car a few days longer than I originally planned, and there were no issues with it. It was a little slow, but they were extremely busy, so this was expected. read more
