Now on the third day and currently off ICU and may go home tomorrow. I highly recommend this place. The food isn't too bad, they can improve breakfast though but it's not a big thing. The fact they save me from dying was. Thank you Jefferson Regional for your services and the wonderful trained staff. Amy outpatient recovery nurse is the rudest nurse I ever met in my long history of medical needs…read more She was so rude I refused to let her touch me and requested another nurse. Here I am hearing all these nice nurses sweet talk their patients all around me and they gave me nurse ratchet! This nurse should absolutely not be working with the public. Hell I wouldn't even let her be a vet tech to my dogs with her nasty attitude. Why the hospital would give her 2 shadows to follow her is beyond me. I looked at the one young female shadow and told her to absolutely not be like that nurse she is shadowing. I refused any further treatment even pain meds. I just wanted away from that nurse and out of that hospital. I refuse to pay any bill that lead to me to be treated like I was less than a living creature. If I wanted that I would have went to a dominatrix. That nurse was so bad she turned me from a please and thank you person to a pissed off foul mouth sailor. I have never behaved like that in public. I guess she thought I would be a person that's not lucid after anesthesia. Well she thought wrong. After this experience I think I will continue to drive to hot springs for my medical needs. Heck JRMC outpatient surgery couldn't even bother to call me to give me the time to be there, where to go, or what meds I could take before my surgery. My husband called around 2pm the day Before and they said they didn't have the schedule set yet and would call back a little later with the info. Yep they never called. If you enjoy waking up from surgery and being in severe pain, talked to like you are not worth their time, enjoy being deprived water when your throat is killing you and the water is only 3 ft away, and enjoy straight pain being pushed quickly through your iv claiming it's pain meds followed by another rush of something painful saying they are flushing your iv then this is the place for you. But I hope it's not the place for you. Every person matters and should be treated like you matter and that your pain concerns are valid.

My beloved 84-yr-young mother is currently one of eight patients who was nothing but a dead woman walking a week ago today. Having recently been diagnosed w/ dementia in its initial stages, she had lost the will to live b/c all of our family & most of her friends have gone on before her. She has been hellbent on playing God & checking right on out of this ol' world by refusing to eat. drink, bathe, potty, yada, yada, ya to the point of me as her only child having to call an ambulance once again & this time calling the suicide prevention hotline & admitting her to BCMC's ER where she was assessed & admitted to Senior Care & is currently awaiting acceptance & admittance to a godly nursing home back home in either Ouachita or Dallas County. Having made God smile & earning an A+, Gold , today, Senior Care has been an answer to my prayers for many years now instead of one big nightmare like ungodly DCMC & The Woods in Podung, USA 71655 where she was just another SS# w/ Medicare. The dr was stupid, I had to tell him to tun a test for a possible UTI, never was told results, and he prescribed me the exact medication I told him I could not take. Incompetent! Add an a$$h01e "detective/off duty cop" with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, Mr. Crosby, and you can see the circus that ensued. They had the audacity to send me a follow-up "how did we do" survey, from the CEO or whoever he is. I was more than happy too! Never heard a word back. Do not go here... you are better off driving to an out of town hospital. Unless you just have a death-wish!
