Twice after getting detailing the staff somehow got fluid spots under the display gauges. First time I filed a claim and the entire gauge system had to be replaced. The people are friendly enough, but they spray the car down, and then they have you run through their car wash, which, on every single section it completely missed the front of the suv. This review is for the auto detailing dept. only. I paid for the interior cleaning with seat and carpet shampoo. Not very good. They have young kids working there and your vehicle is basically on a timed conveyor belt. They left cloudy streaks on my glass, didn't pay attention to the stains on my seat (after they said they would), and it just wasn't worth the $150 I paid. I will start this as I always do by saying that I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. As far as car washes go these guys are hard to beat. The only reason they don't get a five star is the line you have to wait in to get a wash. They tells you how good they are because so many people want to get there car washed here. The unlimited car wash plan for $22 bucks a month is totally worth it. Especially in the upstate NY winter. I have never had an interior cleaning done but I will try it soon. I also love that I can get gas here too. Usually they have the cheapest gas around on top of the awesome car wash service. If I could give them negative stars I would. First time I went there they forgot to give back my floor mats. I live almost 2 hrs away, so I had to go back and get them. They gave me two free details to make up for it. Not a big deal, I figured mistakes happen. But the NEXT time I went, I checked to make sure I had my mats before I left and my rear factory mats and aftermarket all weather rubber mats were not there. I notified staff, they informed me they couldn't find them and that the manager would call me the next day. Next day they were almost at closing, I had not received a call so I called them. Manager told me he was looking into it. And would call me back. He returned my call the next day (now two days since wash) and told me no mats could be found. He started a claim for me, and said corporate would notify me by mail. 10 days later I received this letter attached below. My name misspelled, informing me that they checked the video footage and all mats were returned. Not only is this untrue, the woman I spoke with at the corporate office was rude, and told me I was welcome to go see the video footage myself. The next available time I could do that would be Saturday (4 days from now) and I'm not free that day. The next available time would be April 8th, at 2 pm. I'm definitely gonna go watch the video, and record it on my phone. I have 3 young kids, and they never ride in my Yukon without the floor mats. The fact that they are claiming to have video proof is infuriating considering they can't even spell my name properly and have misplaced my mats once before. I will never, ever let them touch my vehicle again. And I wouldn't let their business get another nickel from me. Go there at your own risk but I warned you. read more

This winter season, Delta Sonic's car wash service quality has declined tremendously. Last year, your car would be pressure washed by at least 3 to 4 employees while you inched your way in line into the actual car wash. This year, there is an automated pre rinse/clean station and 1 employee to pre rinse the cars. The automated station rinses only the sides of vehicles in about 7 seconds. Wheels, front and rear of the vehicle are untouched. Once inside, soap and cleansers are unevenly dispensed and the brush system is missing some key brushes in the center right where it should be washing the vehicle So, your car comes out with a grey racing stripe of dirt from front to rear and the entire rear bumper and trunk section are untouched. I have entirely changed my position about Delta Sonic since they changed to deliver a poor quality car wash. This place now performs as well as Chuck Hagel at Senate committee hearings. I am trying other car washes locally until I find one to my liking. read more

That saves you 5-10 cents a gallon, and an addition 5 cents if you get the unlimited car wash plan. I frequently come here to get my gas, and to get interior and exterior done. hmm. Went in for a full detail- It was $180, took 6 hours, and was mediocre. Wax was not completely rubbed in, my back seats were not lowered to be cleaned, so pine needles and dirt remained in the crevices. Leaves were left under my hood between the wipers and the glass. Stains were left on the seats and the car seats were returned to me very wet. Does it look ok without the scrutiny of a careful eye? Sure. Is it a professionally done cleaning? Definitely not. I normally love Delta Sonic, but this was a huge time and money waster. read more

Having recently moved from the Dewitt area to North Syracuse, I was happy to find that there was a Delta Sonic around to continue cleaning maintenance on my truck. I hadn't had the best experience at the Dewitt location but went there due to lack of other options. This North Syracuse location, however, actually makes me smile. It seems to be a reprieve from the incompetence of the other location. The layout getting to the car wash is a bit cumbersome because of having to cross paths of cars exiting the gas pumps, but the exiting lanes are so much more convenient and less congested than the other location. I do enjoy the intake bay where a machine sprays your car down but this location does not utilize that function nearly often enough. I wish they would. Overall, I am much happier with this Delta Sonic. There are definite opportunities to improve but I feel as if there has been some improvements from the Dewitt location. read more

The good:The staff outside and inside are very nice, and the "brick oven cafe" makes great subs. The not so good: the car cleaning. I've had the interior done twice.The first time, the upholstery was left so wet it didn't dry for several days. That was about $50. The second time, I paid $30 + $5 tip for wipe and vac ( rug shampoo would have been another $30) , and had to bring it back because the rugs under the seats, by the console, hadn't been vac'd. Very disappointed. Several years ago I had this Delta Sonic detail our minivan and it looked brand new. This time, I took our car in because I was giving it to my daughter and wanted nice and clean, in and out. I went for the $200 professional detailing. The car certainly "looked" nice and because I am picky, I tried inspecting when I picked it up. Right away I noticed a couple of spots that the wax had not been taken off - no big deal. Drove it home and inspected it in the sunlight and was putting things back in the car that had to be taken out. Noticed more wax spots, dirty scuff marks on doors and door jams, door jams dirty in some place and worst of all spots on seats, carpet and especially the head rest. The head rest, I could tell was missed. Purchased $5 can of tuff stuff and spent an hour of MY TIME wiping down car and cleaning. For $200, I should not have had to do ANYTHING! I probably will try to find somewhere else next time or do myself and save $200. Basically, I think they rushed this job or just didn't take any pride in it. Those I talked to dropping it off and picking up were very polite, professional and helpful, just bad workmanship. Again, disappointed. FYI, tuff stuff did a great job. In some places I had to do the whole area because afterwards the spotted area came out cleaner than the rest. read more

Let me tell you what an excellent job Brittany did. It was by far the best drying my car has ever gotten I did not have to ask to lift up the windshield wipers and get underneath them, she even made sure the back window was dry.
