Upon doing my research, I found out that the USPS standards had changed so that you can no longer install these same mailboxes unless replacing existing ones. We knew we did not want the same units. The new standard of mailboxes are cluster units with a parcel locker for larger packages. I found Pacific Mailbox Services through the AF Florence Manufacturing website. Julia, from their office was very patient to answer all of our questions and helped us select the proper unit and even offered advice about how to choose a color. The same mailbox was available from different sources online, but we would have needed to install it ourselves. She informed us that we needed prior approval from the post office before we could even order the unit. It was delivered to their company from the manufacturer in a little less than a month. They came to install it in a very short amount of time and took away the old mailboxes too. The plus to using an authorized dealer is that in the event of any problems, they have the direct relationship with the manufacturer. If we had it installed ourselves, the person doing it might not have experience with this type of unit installation and could have damaged the unit. After installation, we noticed that during the manufacturing process, there were some cosmetic chips in the paint and one of the locks had a problem with one of the keys working. Julia immediately had one of her team come out and use touch up paint on the chipped areas and also had the manufacturer quickly send us a replacement lock and keys which they even showed me how to install! I can do basic repairs, but would have been intimidated to attempt changing a lock on my own if they did not show me how easy it was to do on my own. For excellent customer service and a competitive all-inclusive price, I would highly recommend their business.

My experience: I called the number Listed for an estimate (around 4:40pm today), the phone rang-no answer, "you have reached the voice-message box of ###..#" so I hung up; it sounded exactly like someone's cell phone. Ten minutes later a woman called me saying, "Someone called my phone" I'd forgot this was a business but I knew it had to be them because no one calls me in that manner. I was polite and said yes.. So they furnish and install mailboxes but that's all I got before I was interrupted amidst asking for an estimate. She told me to call them back Monday 'during business hours'. She seemed ticked that I didn't know their business hours (unlisted) and neglected to give them. She also refused to speak to me further; even though she called me back and I left no voicemail requesting it. Either way, I am moving on after this experience. I recently purchased a gate control keypad from United to control a new access gate I was having constructed. When the company I hired to build and install the gate attempted to program the keypad, there was an internal malfunction that prevented it from functioning as designed. I returned to United and explained the problem to the friendly woman at the front counter. She took the defective keypad into a back room to have the owner, Jonathan examine it. She soon returned and said they would not repair or replace it as more than 10 days had passed since it was sold. I told her I would like to speak with the owner about this knowing that this person was not the decision maker. She went to get Jonathan and came back and said he wouldn't speak with me. So, I patiently waited until closing time, about 30 minutes or so while Jonathan was hiding in a back room. Jonathan was clearly avoiding contact with a customer who had in good faith purchased merchandise from him, but now needed their after-sale assistance. I ended up going to a competitor who rather than selling me a new keypad, took the defective one from United and quickly resolved the malfunction...at no charge to me. This is what United and Jonathan should have done in the first place. Two stars for the friendly and courteous front counter staffer who unfortunately was tasked with assisting a customer's problem while her boss hid in a back room earning zero stars.

The construction company I work for uses SWSS for the portable restroom needs at our jobsites. We…read morechanged from Rightway to SWSS to get a better price but the entire process has been horrible. They are never picked up on time. We requested a pick up 4 different times on a portable restroom and it was not picked up until the homeowner asked the guy servicing the restroom to take it with him. About a week ago, at another jobsite, we requested the portable to be picked up and would pay a rush fee. They said no, but promised up a pick up yesterday. According to the homeowner at the jobsite, the potty is still there. We are coming up on a holiday and of course, I am 100% sure this porta potty will sit in the yard until next year and we will continue to get charged. We have called multiple times asking what was going on and they always say they will look into it and call us back. We will call again a few days later and the same thing will happen. We have yet to hear from anyone. We were looking forward to a new company. We are so disappointed in the customer service. We will be going back to solely using Rightway asap.
