Even if there's an issue with equipment, they're quick to come help with it. The restrooms can be hit or miss, I wish they took a little better care but honestly can't complain and maybe it's cuz I always book for the very end of the night lol. Another small thing is the drummers have to bring basically half of a drum kit (cymbals, Snare, & kick pedal **all of which you can rent from summit for a decent price incase you forgot) which can be a pain sometimes but Other than that, not much to complain about besides the hours!! I wish they could stay open late on weekends but they only open till 8 which is understandable, can't complain! Decent parking, right off the 210 freeway, solid gear, big ass rooms, very solid pricing, very friendly staff!!! What else can you ask for right?!?!? The only other studio that kinda compares is AMP In NoHo but they got stinky mics, staff can be weird, getting to the parking lot is literally like a maze and their gear has shit on us multiple times. So big shout out to summit!!! Love going here and will continue to support as long as I am physically capable of playing drums, bass and guitar!!!!!

I am a professional musician, and I have recorded all over LA. And I can say this is the BEST place to record. The production team is second to NONE, the facilities are FANTASTIC, they literally have EVERYTHING you can ever want, and your recording will sound BETTER than you expected. Bonus: Hefe Weizen on tap in the lounge, and a 52" plasma with xbox 360 with GUITAR HERO II!!!!!!! Oh, bitches... this place rules... I thought you knew.

As a band that you can follow on twitter for all current local performances and band happenings by following "UpRootedBand," we have decided that there is no other place that we would rather lay down our tracks. The facilities and equipment are top notch, the environment could not make you feel more at home, and the staff is highly skilled and personable. Our album was engineered by Eddie, a young prodigy who has already proven himself to be a very successful player in the recording business. Our tracks were mixed by Darian, a man who has dedicated his life to music as an artist, engineer and educator. The whole project was produced by Joe Fikany, the Den's studio manager. Joe exhibited a wealth of recording and music production savvy while embodying a personality that got our band both enthusiastic and focused. When you record at the Den Recorders, you become part of a musical family while, in tandem, making some new friends along the way. UpRooted, who's EP drops soon (so keep an eye out) wouldn't trade our experiences for the world. www.facebook.com/uprootedmusic

The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

As an artist paying for studio time, that's incredibly distracting and disrespectful. I did not feel valued as a client. After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...

Music has always been there for me through many difficult parts of my life, but I've always felt like there was this gap between music and I that I could never close. I never felt like I had any talent to immerse myself, or further myself in it. Always just singing to myself, or when I'm alone, because that's the only time I have the courage to explore my voice. I have to say I've never felt this great singing before and it's only been four lessons. This year for me is big on self investment and rediscovering myself and where my interests/passion lies. You've gotta take some risks in life sometimes and taking a chance on vocal lessons with you has been by far one of the best decisions I've made in a while!. I'm still super stoked and I'm looking forward to what's to come!! Thanks voice dad!
