Deluxe was recommended for cleaning and boxing my daughter's wedding dress and they took great care in cleaning the train before boxing it.

After 40 years of marriage, I decided to break out the old wedding gown. So happy I had Deluxe Cleaners preserve it way back then. The outer box was sealed perfectly. The inner bridal chest was pristine inside a blue plastic bag. Upon opening the chest I could tell that both veil and gown were still as white as the day I wore them. I didn't know what to expect since I had ignored their warning regarding storage and kept it in the attic for the past 26 years. What a magnificent job! I switched to deluxe cleaners about a month ago after being with the same dry cleaner for many years. So far I am very impressed! Yes they do charge a little bit more to launder shirts, however they have this awesome no stain and no cracked or missing button guarantee. They also shine shoes there so now I only have to go to one place to get all my needs taken care of. I also brought a few shirts in when I first switched to them that my former dry cleaner who said he could not get stains out, Deluxe was able to get all of the stains out and save me from having to replace these expensive shirts. I gave one star just for fact they pressed the shirts I entrusted to them however I paid 27.00 for three shirts. One shirt was 2.60 to press and the other two over 6.00 each . I told them the two they pressed for over six was outrageous. The shirts were simple men's shirts from Kohls. At least a phone call to alert me that they for some odd reason needed to be hand pressed. Also the employee couldn't find my shirts which was promised Friday but I gave an extra day I picked up Saturday. Rip off fees. Nothing great in cleaning they over charge for a coffee stain if you point it out so better not to them as the stain mostly will come out anyway. Go to the 1.99 cleaners on route 46 west or any of those corner ones. Rip off deluxe. Courtesy call to tell me any issue with simple shirts read more

I must say that Deluxe Cleaners is one of the best cleaners I have encountered. I have been a customer for over 8 years and I cannot complain about the quality. Whenever I need to drop off or pick up clothes, I am always greeted by a friendly smile. My clothes are always ready by the day promised. What astonishes me the most is my most recent visit. I had a few stains on my button down shirts that I had forgotten to mention when I dropped off my clothes. When I picked up my clothes, the stains were gone without me evening mentioning them! To me, that is a great dry cleaner. I can trust Deluxe with my clothes. My shirts always come back looking so clean and crisp. Their seamstress can do some work I never thought was imaginable. If you ever have a favorite shirt or pair of jeans that needs mending, take it to Deluxe! I would also like to mention their convenient pick up and delivery service. That came in handy when I was running late coming home from work. Just knowing that the service is always there puts my mind at ease in the event I run late again. I am a true believer that you get what you pay for. My previous dry cleaner did not care to listen to me when I mentioned a stain that was still present after cleaning. Pretty good dry cleaner. Recently made the change. They have a button guarentee and thier process is pretty good to eliminate imperfections. You can get shirts boxed or on hangers and they do their cleaning on site. Their limit for pick up and delivery is a little too high for me, but a great feature. The outside of the building is very retro which is kind of cool. No problems so far on 28 shirts. A little pricey but not too bad for the quality. read more

Open for 80 years? yup. Looks like an old gank diner in the middle of the hood of clifton, one wrong turn and you end up in downtown passaic. so beware. i went there on 9/27 to get 3 suits tailored (plenty of business for them), and the girl at the counter looked at me clueless and asked "do you need to be measured?" Why else would i go to a tailor? Well, long story short, the tailor doesnt work any weekends. Must be nice. Save your time and drive into the hood and just go to a major place like Macys which does have tailors 7 days a week and will probably cost less. No reason to sponsor a small business here. read more

Not happy at all with Deluxe. We recently switched to Deluxe as our former dry cleaner changed hands. In less than two months Deluxe has ruined one of my wool sweaters. They stretched it, but it is no longer wearable. Also, today my husband picked up his shirts. They had dry cleaned one of the shirts to the tune of $6.00 despite the fact that the shirt has been laundered before, and the tags state that it is washable and dryable. When I spoke to the manager, she stated that the shirt is seersucker and the puckers would be flat if they laundered it using the presser. Huh? There was no offer of compensation for my sweater. The manager offered a coupon for the difference in price from a laundered shirt and a dry cleaned shirt -- roughly $4.00. read more

Never go here for your wedding tuxedos!! I have been going to Deluxe for years for cleaning purposes and have always been happy with service and quality. So when I got engaged I knew I wanted to give them my business- well that was a mistake. When we went to pick up the tuxedos - we notice that the hem lines were zig zag and wrinkled. We were told no worries a press will get it out ( it didn't and is visible in pictures). The groom had to walk down the aisle with a bobby pin holding his button on his jacket. The cuff link fell apart while he sat down during the ceremony. Thank god for our limo driver because he gave him a cuff link and sowed his button after the ceremony. Three groomsmen lost buttons and countless cuff links! My father lost his button. When my mother brought the tuxedos back to the shop. The man argued with her and said it was because our groomsmen probably didn't know how to wear suits and that you need to unbutton to sit. Little does he know that the groomsmen are a majority of lawyers and military men. Thanks for the insult on top of everything else. Deluxe was crap and I will never even go back to the cleaners. read more

I LOVE this place!!! Great cleaning they can get out almost any stain, and they do a fantastic job on my fragile, delicate piece. The staff is so friendly, the owners treat you like family and the part-timers always remember you. Alterations get done with superb quality, their semesters Klier always remember you and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you look amazing, The do a fantastic job on prom dresses and wedding gowns always making sure that they are handled with extra care. They put their customers first, making sure each and everyone is satisfied to their needs and requirements.
