Philip is great here - he is so friendly and does a great job on nails. He is very fast and efficient as well. Ivy did my nails last time I was here and she did a great job as well. She wasn't nearly as friendly and wasn't as gentle as other nail techs I have had but my nails looked great. read more

they are usually pretty quick to take you in which is nice. but you have to be careful with who you get to do your nails, only a few actually take the time to make sure your nails look good. I came back once to get them fixed after one of the ladies did a horrible job and the second time they looked amazing. my fill after that was also amazing, then I wanted to get the acrylics taken off and keep my normal nails for the holidays and because my baby is due in a few weeks. the woman doing my nails ripped three of my natural nails off one was so bad it was bleeding when I left. this will probably be my last time going here because I don't think it's fair that there's a 50/50 chance my nails will look decent coming out and I am paying and tipping for the service. read more

This is my favorite place to get a nice pedicure! Talk about relaxing and great service. They are kind and talkative if you get the right person. The place is clean, they serve wine and water and you can take advantage of the many massage chairs. The prices are fair and comparable to most area salons. I always prefer the step above a standard which allows me to get a calf massage, additional soaking and hot towels. They get quite a crowd so the earlier you go the better and if your need is to be out quick, I recommend you avoid going on the weekend..or consider making an appointment. read more

I went for a manicure. The woman who took care of me was ignorant and miserable. The only words she spoke to me the entire time was gel manicure? Gel manicure? No! I want a simple manicure. Soooooo for $20 I got my fingers soaked in plain water for ten seconds each side. And plain polish. No cuticle gel. No pushing back the cuticles. Lavender hand lotion was placed on my palms and tops of my hands. What???? This wasn't worth $5! I could have done this myself. Very disheartening that this was considered a manicure. Customer service was awful. I went in with long strong nails wanting gel manicure and pedicure. Nail tech convinced me a thin layer of acrylic over my natural nails to make them stronger. While she was working on my nails I told her the overlay was too bulky and she gave me attitude. No manicure she went straight to overlay and color. Gave me sugar scrub at the end. No trimming or massage... Pedicure was a joke...i could've easily applied 3 differ creams on my feet myself and soak em in a tub at home. Save your money and go elsewhere. Wasted $75 and I'm going somewhere else to fix bulky overlay and crappy paint job tomorrow. Should've known by walking in and it was empty. Reviews sure fooled me this time. read more

My first visit here I received the best pedicure I've ever had by far (with Lina) she also did a wonderful job with my gel manicure. Today I got acrylics, I like to switch it up from natural some times. Julee did my acrylics she did an amazing job. Both Lina & Julee do a great job, very clean work and great customer service. They are super clean and have great facilities. The message chairs work nice and the pedicures are wonderful. They also have large TVs and drinks are offered. Okay - so you're looking for a good nail salon - right? Well, I can tell you I have visited many nail salons in the area and I recommend Deluxe Nail Salon! Over the years, I've had full acrylics, normal polish, Gel and most recently Dip Powder. The first thing I will tell you, is have an idea or style of what you want...it's called doing your research! Each has it's own pro's and con's and each person has their own preference! Ask your friends, neighbor or co-workers what works for them! I started coming here about 7-8 months ago and then was getting Gel polish which was only lasting maybe 2 weeks and I told my nail tech (who is awesome by the way) that I wasn't happy with how long they last. He thankfully, suggested Dip Powder, which is a bit more expensive but in my mind - totally worth it! (Just so everyone knows, they generally don't do a 'manicure' with Dip Powder just a heads up!) As always, most places suggest appointments, but you can walk- in if needed. The staff has always been great to me, very kind and considerate. Check them out! read more

I have been here a few times and it's been hit or miss. Today I got a pedi and new gel set. I picked out my color and wanted a sparkly polish on 2 of the nails. They were all in the same basket of colors to choose from. When I'm cashing out it was $80! I asked why so much? She broke it down and apparently the sparkly polish was "special " and "extra " . $5 a damn nail special? I don't think so. That should have been mentioned beforehand. I won't be back. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. My first two time coming here was great! There was a sweet lady that always sat at the second table in the front that always took care of me. Last few times I've gone, I've had some one different. One time I had the younger woman that sits in the back she was so rude, snatched the color wheel out my hand and told me I can look at it later. Then today I had the man that sits all the way at the last table in the back near the bathroom, he was so freaking rude I swear I almost got up and left. He cut me twice and ignored it but proceeded to squeeze down on where he cut which made it burn like hell. He yanked my hand every time and complained when I asked him to trim my nails shorter. NEVER AGAIN! I'm finding a different nail shop to go to, these people suck! read more

I tried this salon based on the really good Yelp reviews, but unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience . I went to have a manicure, with gel polish. I was taken back right away, picked out my color, and the manicure began. Shortly after, while the tech was trimming my cuticle, she cut me, and it started bleeding quite a bit. I understand that these things happen, but being a nurse, I try to be very careful about not getting and cuts or skin breaks on my hands, as to cut down on my risk of infection. Another thing that bothered me, she was holding pressure on my cut, with a paper towel, and she didn't have a glove on, which for her, not such a good idea...so on we go with the manicure...she begins putting the color on, and to make a long story short, after putting two coats on, she tells me I have to pick something else, that the polish was not working right. So, I had to have the polish soaked off, which absolutely STUNG the hell out of my injured cuticle. It was very painful! So, 1 1/2 hours later, I walked out with a completed manicure, and a throbbing finger! (The polish job itself, not good, it was not at all evenly back against my cuticles). The salon itself is beautiful, and clean, but I will not go back. read more

This nail salon is still fairly new and right around the corner from me. I typically go to a different nail salon on Union, but the nail tech I ask for was away for a couple of weeks. I decided to try Deluxe Nails and was surprised at how clean it looked when I stepped in. Once I walked in, I was seated right away. I told them I wanted an acrylic fill in with gel polish and was handed a bucket of gel nail designs. I looked through the selections on my own for about a minute when my nail tech sat down and stared at me while I tried to make my selection. I ended up rushing and chose a sparkly blue polish. Everything was going fine until she started using her nail drill. She nicked four of my fingers because she was going so fast. My ring finger ended up swelling up mid manicure because of this. She of course apologized and I let it go since I wasnt bleeding whatsoever. Once she started the fill in, she picked up a thick coat of acrylic powder and my nails ended up looking VERY unnatural. The color lasted a long time, but I wasn't happy with the level of skill in this nail shop. They're open on Sundays which is a plus, but I'd rather go out of my way and head to the nail shop on Union. read more

I have gotten gel nails from here about 4 times now. The salon is very clean and the gel nails looked awesome, but my one complaint would be about the pricing! So far I have gotten charged 3 different prices for the same service. I have gotten charged $15, $18, and $20 to get just the gel polish. At first I thought it was based on the layer of coats needed, but I got the same amount of coats each time. It would be nice knowing what I am going to be charged when I go! I was in there last night with two co-workers. All three of us received pedicures. There were 3 options to choose, we all did the middle option for $35. I was supposed to receive a mask, scrub, and lotioned massage. The mask was never put on my legs. The scrub was slapped on, rubbed down my legs once and rinsed off. The lotioned "massage" LOL...the gentlemen doing my pedi zoned out and barely rubbed in the lotion. The polish job was nothing more than I do at home. So I would not recommend this place if you have expectations of a great pedicure. read more

They did an excellent job. I got a manicure and pedicure. The prices are reasonable and they are clean. The hand and foot massage was very nice after a very long week. I normally go to the Eastern Hills Mall but this place is a little closer and more convenient to where I live. Not thrilled with the eyebrow wax. I decided to call Deluxe one afternoon when my regular nail salon couldn't get me in. I called around 2pm and made an appt for 3:15. I arrived at 3:05 so I could take my time picking out a color for my gel manicure. Seriously, not even a minute after I had looked at only two color discs, of about 15 color discs, the girl (I believe Sophia) was telling me she was ready for me. She motioned for me to sit down and to give her my hand. I told her I was still looking and she said it was okay, she would start my manicure. This really aggravated me because I showed up early to my appointment for a reason, to take my time looking at options at this salon (first time I had ever been) and was being rushed. I told her I felt rushed and she could tell I was not happy. So I just picked a light pink quickly. Well, as time went on I noticed I couldn't stop looking at the other gel colors on the wall (lol) and decided that I wanted more time to look. Then the girl kept complementing me the entire duration of the manicure, probably because she knew I was aggravated at her for rushing me. One thing I found odd is that she did not push back my cuticles, only trimmed them. The manicure lasted for about 2 weeks, but I've had better. I wasn't happy from the beginning. And I could tell she was talking about me to other workers because different technicians kept coming over and looking at my nails and then my girl would point to the wall where I picked out another color.
