I hired DeluxeMaid to clean my father's house. He is handicapped and unable to clean himself. Still, he spent hours picking things up so that the cleaning crew would be able to do the job, and they ended up calling him at the last minute saying that they would be coming at night rather than in the 1-3pm window that we booked. Because of pets, this did not work for him and now I am back to square one. It is extremely frustrating to schedule a time over a week in advance and not have it honored. read more

We used DeluxeMaid to clean our new home before we moved in. We were unable to be present because of work. Cindy did show up on time but she was unable to get into the garage using our code (it was too cold outside for the keypad) at no fault of her own. She was so understanding and patient - she waited for our painter to get there and let her in. She did a great job and when we saw it later that evening, we were so happy. I did the "finger test" on all surfaces and everything was so clean. She even ran the dishwasher which was nice since it hadn't been ran in a few weeks. All the communication was awesome too! They did a decent job. I requested the move in/out cleaning with a fridge clean. There were a lot of places I had to ask them to go back over and the house was already pretty clean to begin with. I was a little frustrated that the doors didn't seem like they were touched and the shower still has hard water spots on the glass (same for the shower head). I guess I just assumed professional cleaners could get that crystal clean. There were other minor items not worth mentioning, but overall a decent value. On the positive side, the baseboards, trim, and floors all looked great. They were there for 4-5 hours. read more

I like DeluxeMaid for a few reasons. 1) Their owner seems to be a pretty stand up guy and has great customer service. 2) The prices are up-front and based on number of bed rooms. You book and pay online, so there is no calling to get a quote or have someone come over with a high pressure sales situation. 3) Granted, this was a deep clean order, but the lady who came spent an incredible amount of time making sure things were done properly. Total cost was $134 for what amounted to less than 2 hours of cleaning. The cleaning provided was adequate, but by no means spectacular. This is the standard one time cleaning and fridge wipe down (she didn't clean the top, behind, under, the front, or the gasket; just wiping down the interior) For $67 dollars an hour, I'd expect much better. This was a pre-move in cleaning. The previous owner was clean and tidy. Nothing in the way. After she was done, during the final walkthrough, I pointed out the cobweb still present within inches of the floor, she claimed that wiping those down required a "deep clean" and that would be extra. For the price, this really should be a much better service. Very disappointed. read more

To start, they have great customer service and prices are very affordable. On both occasions they sent the same cleaning assistant and she did great. The job that Katherine performed was outstanding for what she had to enquire. I thought the customer service was very friendly (loved the accent of the lady that answered the phone) and the cleaning assistant was outstanding. Katherine actually worked by herself and she did the job of 3 people. I have had 4 visits so far with DeluxeMaid so far. They were available and responsive for all questions and meeting my schedule requests. The price is reasonable, but not super cheap. The first two visits didn't meet my expectations, but the owner was responsive and offered a discount for my 3rd visit and set me up with a different cleaner who, so far, has worked hard and been amazing. If I were set up with her to start, I would have given a 5 star rating. The crew accommodated our afternoon start time and stayed into the evening working; I really appreciated that they focused on cleaning well rather than rushing through the long job. I found a few missed places after they were gone (e.g., kitchen drawers) but I'm sure they would have done them if I had noticed while they were still here. My only real complaint was that one of the two workers did not wear his mask, even after I specifically requested that he do so and even when he was speaking directly to me to ask a question. I found them online through Google, saw they had very good reviews and booked online. Got the confirmation right away which was nice, and that was it as far as organizing it went. Pretty easy. The day of the clean the cleaner Amber showed up on time, was very courteous, and got to work. I had to leave for a while so I left her to it. Came back to a spotless home, which was so nice. We did a walkthrough, it all looked great and then Amber went on her way. Again, very easy. Payment is through credit card, again, nice and easy. Can't fault the service in any way. read more

UPDATE: Deluxe Maid contacted me about this situation. There seemed to be an issue with the emails and my emails were not seen. Had they seen them, they assured me this would have been taken care of promptly. Deluxe maid is making this situation right. I hired Deluxe Maid Service for a move out cleaning. I added the deep cleaning service as well as the inside stove, inside refrigerator, and inside windows. I paid WELL over $300. The first trip out was by a very kind woman, however, the job was not completed. The floors were not clean, windows not cleaned, and all the extras I paid for were not touched at all! They agreed to have someone else come out. This person did a great job cleaning cabinets ( that had not been touched the first time) floors looked better, but the extras were still not touched. I tried to go to the house to check it out. However once there the key that was used was not replaced. I am the realtor for this listing and they did not replace the key. I had to track it down which was irritating at best but I get things happen. After getting the key back I went inside to find that they indeed had not completed the job. I have tried SEVERAL times to contact them again. At this point, I either wanted just those items completed or a refund for the items not completed. They refuse to return my messages or call me. In my business, we find companies that we know will do a the job so that we can get these houses on the market. I am very loyal to those who do a good job for me...(deleted negative personal views because I appreciated a company who is whiling to help make things right, and am always whiling to give a second chance.). read more
