DeluxeMaid is superior to me for simple reasons: they were available when I needed them, the price was right, the cleaners were friendly, professional and efficient, and my request was expertly handled. My situation was extremely rare and quite strange: cleaning an apartment of a very elderly woman on hospice laying in her hospital bed in the living room. The girls who came were undeterred by the scenario and went about their jobs without a blip, even while caregivers and hospice nurses were running about. I was attracted to this service initially by their ease of scheduling. They have an awesome website where you just plug in your info and availability and magically your appointments are scheduled and your house is cleaned spotlessly. I like that you can easily customize the clean by selecting special services like green or deep cleaning. It is a little pricey, but they do the best job compared to other services I have used. I like that it is just one person who cleans until he job done rather than other services that may use a team with "man-hours" of cleaning. You also get a discount for setting up recurrent services. This was my first time hiring a cleaning service, and it went very well! I initially scheduled online for a Friday morning, received an email shortly thereafter saying they didn't have enough time that day but could I do Monday morning instead. I totally understand with a service like this that it's difficult to schedule things completely online, so it didn't bother me at all to move the appointment day. The only complaint is that I thought the arrival time was at 9:30 am, that's what the first email said. When I got another email reminding me, it said 9:30-10:30 arrival time. At 10:15 I got a phone call saying she would be a few minutes late. It wasn't a huge deal, but when I thought we would get started at 9:30 and ended up getting started at 11, it makes the day unfold a little differently. Again, not a huge deal, I just wish I knew there was an hour window of arrival at the beginning. Despite all that, she did a wonderful job at cleaning! My bathrooms were sparkling, the vacuum ran through the whole house, it smelled SO good when I walked through the door! I was very impressed, and will definitely be reusing the service. We have been very happy so far with DeluxeMaid. We've had two cleanings with Tanaka and she has done an excellent job. The website is easy to use and you can customize your cleaning appointment with add-ons like "clean oven" or "clean inside fridge". It is a little bit on the expensive side, but we signed up for biweekly cleanings which decreases the cost. Tanaka is friendly but not there to gab - she is down to business which I love. We ordered a move-in/out special and Shelby was our cleaner. Overall, she did a great job. I thoroughly searched Yelp reviews and am happy I landed on DeluxeMaid. Their customer service and communication back-and-forth was excellent. Their website was easy to use. Everyone I spoke to - via Yelp, text, or phone - was very good at their job. I only wish we were better prepared to move out. This probably reflects more on my roommates than it does on the service, but parts of the house (specifically, the kitchen) were not cleaned because my roommates (I had already moved out) did not thoroughly remove items from the refrigerator/counter/cabinets. I believe this hampered some of the cleaning potential. Outside of that, I was very happen with the service. We have not heard back as to the results of our post-move inspection by our landlord, but I'm sure it will be positive. Would use again 10/10. read more

I have used a cleaning service at every house I've lived at since about 1992, so I have a lot of experience with cleaning services. I recently moved to Indianapolis and I contacted DeluxeMaid to clean my home based on the good reviews. The two ladies that cleaned did a very thorough job and didn't rush through like other services I've used in the past. I was very pleased with the results. I even had special requests, like hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a dust-catching ceiling fan with wicker blades. Very satisfactory. 1) Came out earlier than expected, which is fine. 2) One cleaner. Was very thorough. I had no idea how filthy my bathroom was- she spent a long time on it!! I haven't actually seen the surface of my sink or stove since I moved in two years ago. Apparently the wipes I use to clean are not doing the job. I chose this cleaning company because of the raving reviews I have read on here. I just bought a new house and needed to have it cleaned prior to moving in so I ordered the deep clean. I loved how you can book online and change it later as needed. I got two reminder emails the week leading up to the clean stating they would be here between 9-10. The day before, someone from the company texted me stating one of the cleaners they had scheduled to come out had a family emergency and that it would just be one girl instead of two and that she would be arriving closer to 11 than the previously stated 9-10. I thought that was okay since my house is not huge but I also told him I needed to leave my house by 5 and I wanted to make sure it got finished by then. He said they could assess when they got here and send someone else out to help if needed. My house is completely empty so there was nothing to do yet so I sat on the porch waiting for them to show up until 12:45 when she finally came - almost 2 hrs later than the adjusted time he told me the day before and 3 hrs later than the original time! Needless to say, I was much less than impressed. Amber came and brought all the supplies she needed and had me walk through the house and point out things to look at. She did a good job from what I could tell. Another girl showed up for an hour or so to help at some point too. The inside of the house looks pretty good! I noticed after she left, the doors going to the outside were still pretty dirty and a few windows were open that I can't get shut now. I guess that's why she didn't close them. Overall, Amber seemed nice and did a pretty good job but I probably won't be using this service again. read more

We moved into an apartment that we were subletting and it was absolutely filthy. We were thinking about moving out because of how nasty everything was. We decided to give a maid service a try before making any decisions. When they were finished the place was absolutely spotless. We weren't walking around anywhere without shoes before and now we are completely comfortable in this place. I could not be more appreciative of the service. We called a few other highly rated maid services but no one could fit us in on the same day. Not to mention, they had the cheapest price out of all of the top services and the owner gave us a 15 dollar discount off of the already low price. I highly recommend this service to anyone. We were just expecting them to clean up in the bedrooms a little bit and the bathroom, but they even did the dishes that were left over in the sink and cleaned the entire apartment.
