I had one person on Nextdoor app recommend Ray and we figured we could at least get a quote. We had been searching high and low for someone to put stone on our pillars. We had companies tell us they couldnt use our existing stone material, that we would have to redo our existing steps completely, or had quotes for over $20k. We didnt trust anyone anymore because of our experience with a past contractor (who bought the supplies but never did the work) and took us 6 months to find the right person. Ray did much more than just the stone on the pillars, he redid our walkway using the stone that was already there (but made it look SO nice) and gave us tips on how to save on expense but get a finished look. He is a craftsman so he can do interior masonry work as well.

Kraynik also came to our home and worked with us on selection, brainstorming trouble areas, and helping us understand the work. The Kraynik team knows flooring extremely well and was able to support us with any questions we have - from how do we clean and repair, what's 'surging vs binding', where to start - and lots more. Very patient with us, gave us the time we needed to understand (and we ask a lot of questions). And when it came time to do the work, I feel as if they treated my home as if it was theirs (keeping the areas as clean as possible while working, making sure we can use key areas end of day when the work required more than a day, attention to details, cleaning up end of job...). I do not understand the prior review - it comments on wearing of masks only (and Kraynik is vaxxed and boosted and maintains distance), not the work or the help.

I had intended to make this quick but after seeing some of the other reviews I can't help but feel they are either misleading or outright dishonest. My wife and I had wanted to paint our home for a while, but we had constant disagreements about color choice and scheduling. Christopher was extremely patient in dealing with our indecisiveness even when my wife's anxiety was enough to drive me nuts. Chris remained calm, cool, and professional throughout keeping us updated and in the loop the entire time during the project. One key point to keep in mind is while some of these reviews are negative if you truly want an accurate picture of Chris's character and workmanship don't trust some nut on the internet, CALL HIS REFERENCES. They all say the same thing: great person and great quality workmanship. In addition the recurring theme we noticed when speaking with his references that we found to be true ourselves: Premier Painting becomes like family and by the time they are done you don't want them to leave. We have two small children who like to run through the home when we have company. Despite our best attempts to keep them out of the way they still managed to interrupt and pepper Chris and his crew with questions and distractions. I have worked with a lot of contractors in my life. Most contractors are skilled tradesmen, but very few have the warm personalities that you'd want to invite into your home.
