Don't live in Tampa, and this place I've never been to. And when we pulled up, lemme just say, I would NOT have entered solo. They ain't got no curb appeal, but a couple signs indicated, that yeah, they sell comics and stuff. lol Now when we entered... I held my breath. Amazing rows and isles of comics, comics, comics! It was clean, moody but not dusty, not too dark to read, enough room to walk thru, browse, and lose your wandering friend who's looking for their own stuff. I thought, oh well I guess I wont get action/comic figures in this spot, and nope, they had figures for sale too, plus t-shirts. I nodded as I walked through, impressed by it all. Staff seemed cool, talked to the regulars but there to help, or else let you browse without annoying you. When I got closer to the counter I saw at least 5 buckets of stickers! I sorted through those stickers for about 10 minutes. So I bought $39 worth of $1 stickers.... but enough about me... Go to this spot and get all you want or kinda need, and don't let the exterior fool you, they seem guaranteed to have all the stuff you're gonna want inside.

My first time visiting and I was impressed with a comic store so close to Oldsmar. Also a good selection of comic supplies such as boxes, Mylar bags, backing boards, and more. Since my main concern was comics, I checked over their huge collections, very well organized. Also a fair stock of many Silver Age books. Since I am in the process of downsizing my 60+ year collection of mostly Golden Age and Silver Age, about the only things I am looking for is (1) an affordable Batman #1 (LOL) and a handful of EC comics from the 50s. But I came for a specific reason - to get a long box of comics to share with grandkids and mostly donate to the local USO. There is a whole wall of long box comics on sale for $1 individual, plus a long box of your choice for $75. One row across the top and another on the floor beneath. I spent about 90 minutes grazing through for appropriate books for service members and families, nothing PG or higher. The manager was very knowledgeable about comics and very helpful. I did bring my own long box to fill.

I was looking for more graphic novel volumes of Buffy the Vampire Season 8 that I couldn't find at other stores. The nice guy at the counter greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I told him what I was looking for and he led me to the right shelf. The season and volumes where a bit confusing at first. I'm giving them 5 stars because he actually looked it up and gave me the names of the volumes so that I could find them much easier. Now that's good customer service. I really lucked out and found 3 volumes at this store that I didn't already have. I'd also read their FB page and noticed that they have a Spidey tree that they put up every year at Christmas time. I couldn't leave without taking a picture of it. It was cute and unique. Hey, who doesn't love Spiderman? Anyway, I will be back if I'm ever in need of other graphic novels.

There is SO MUCH in this store that is NOT comics that it was amusing to me. Yes, they have your comics, but they also they have a lot of adjunct stuff. Do you collect statues? They have them. They were even the first store in the states to demo the new Gundam Card game while I was there. Talk about good timing. Huge Selection of Gundam. They are in the process of changing their name to Mecha from Japan, since they carry other model kits too. Prices were reasonable, but 1000% worth it just to have a store like this. It was literally a gundam/anime galore! Loved the "home" feel of being able to watch comfortably in their little hang/livingroom area while others shop, having a variety of choices of Japanese sweets (candies + drinks), & being able to purchase/ build your gundam in the store while hanging with others who enjoy doing the same. The whole store just had such a great welcoming atmosphere feel. All the employees were very welcoming & informative. We learned that the shop started off as a candy store & then grew into what they have now. Such a cute little gem to find!
