However, the…read moregal in the business office, I did not catch her name, told me to my face with my husband present that my dental insurance did not cover extractions. She told me I would need a payment for $643.34 the day of the surgery at my consultation. I was surprised my insurance did not cover extractions. Today, I got an explanation of benefits from Anthem and they DID cover a portion of my bill for the extraction. I called to ask them why they told me I wasn't covered and this gal, the same one I saw in the beginning, proceeded to over talk me, wouldn't listen, would not admit that I was told I wasn't covered and then with the insurance agent on the line, hung up on me. They have just lost a patient. I will continue my healing process elsewhere and I will let someone else get the money. I am 66 yrs old and do not appreciate being treated this way.
