We had been debating taking out 6 huge pine trees. We had received their flyer and after checking out the reviews we decided to call Dendy's. James came out gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. While here he also gave us suggestions on how to save our Willow Tree. They came out when they said they would. Dendy's Tree service came out today to prune and trim two large oak trees, which my insurance company had claimed were posing a hazard to my roof. Josh came out a few weeks earlier to quote me a bid that was $500 cheaper than another company I had called. Josh was considerate, knowledgeable and matter-of-fact. I could tell he had no intention of over-charging me, and I trusted him immediately. Today Troy came out with a team of workers who carefully and cleanly trimmed and pruned these giant oaks in less than two hours. The team was efficient, polite, and incredibly skillful at climbing to enormous heights. They cleaned up, raked and mulched the wood, all on site, and when they were finished with the job, it looked as though they had never been there. This company destroyed my yard while taking down a neighbors tree. Trampled flowers, broke a number of boards and an entire section of fence, ripped down my cable and phone lines and tore off a side of my siding. Wouldn't pick up the phone. Dendy's business owner arrogant, dismissive, unprofessional and dishonest regarding not following up on damage to my property and my neighbors property after $8,000.00 tree removal. Both myself and my neighbor provided Dendy's with detailed lists and pictures of damage that occurred as a result of tree removal that was largely an unsupervised three ring circus performed by his work crew. Failure to follow up with remediating the following damage to my property: crushed sidewalk between my deck and my garage, damaged gutters and gutter guards, and failure to return privacy fence which they removed for access to its original status as agreed-upon in our contract. To my neighbors property: trampled expensive newly planted bushes and flowers, damaged newly replaced siding, knocked down live powerline, and left a very significant amount of tree debris in neighbors yard. Dendy's was provided ample opportunity and detail regarding what needed to be followed up to make it right and ignored requests by me the property owner and by my neighbor to remediate . When responses did occur, they were rude, flippant, dismissive and deflective. Dendy's made some rationalized comment that they couldn't come out and make repairs to neighbors bushes, siding, downed powerline, and debris removal as a result of a drunk employee that needed to be fired. Really, We didn't need to know that. Shameful in every possible way. Photos are attached. Regarding my damages gutters and crushed sidewalk as a result of the workers indiscriminately just letting tree crater my sidewalk, owner denied all of it and flat out refused to address it. Unprofessional, and wholly lacking, fairness and integrity. Would not recommend, do not use this service. Dendy's was provided with ample time and opportunity to make this right , prior to writing this review which was not desired but necessary and warranted based on the above.
