In 3 hours they had the trees cut, the piles chipped, the stumps ground up (which no other tree service has ever done for us in 40 years!) and the driveway cleaned! And that was only 3 guys! Tree Service of Troy was great!! We're getting our roof replaced in 2 weeks, so we needed someone to come out soon-ish to trim the trees back before the roof is done. They trimmed back 4 trees, 2 in the front in these pictures, and 2 in the backyard. They showed up around 5:30pm and stayed until around 7pm to complete the job! They cleaned up the sidewalks and driveway afterwards and we're very affordable. I would highly recommend them!! read more

They are great. Not only are they super polite they stand by their work and their work is quality work. I had four different tree trimming companies come out for estimates. I was going to go with another company only because they did our neighbors trees and I liked their work and the price was fair. The company told me they were busy which I completely understand as it is that time of year. But the company I wanted to go with didn't answer any of my calls, emails, voice messages, and text messages. So I was bummed because the other two companies that gave us estimates were not impressive. So my mother fortunately stumbled across this company and they came out very fast. They gave an estimate and they told us that it would be at least a week or so due to high volume and they kept in touch so that was very nice. They did an amazing job and even alerted me to a hornet's' nest in my front tree that needed immediate attention. When I got home as I was not there when they were doing the job I felt that a few more branches needed to be trimmed because I thought I had mentioned it but I didn't. I gave them a call a few days later and they had a crew out in my neighborhood within an hour and trimmed the branches I requested and took them away and disposed of them. I know I was fortunate they were in my neighborhood but even if they weren't I was assured that they would be out within the next few days. Nobody gave me any grief. No one seemed angry that they did a little extra work. Everyone was super polite and they got the job done. I am extremely satisfied and definitely will be recommending them to everyone I know that needs anything done with tree services. read more

Very professional and very friendly. We had a giant pine tree (probably 200 ft) removed. They made quick work of it. Came back next day to grind stump. Beware the machinery involved will naturally tear up your yard but I should have known that, nothing that the crew could have done differently there. They made sure to clean up everything and even cut the logs that I wanted for firewood into smaller pieces. Would highly recommend. read more

I had to remove a 40' elm which was deader than dead, and these guys were very competitively priced, followed my instructions to a T and were obviously very experienced and safety conscious. - And they cleaned up all the detritus afterward. I used Tree Service of Troy two years ago to cut down two trees in my yard and they did a fine job. So much so i recommended them to my neighbor. It was good. Last year i had them come in to remove another tree in the front yard. This time is was different. They removed the tree, but did damage to my neighbors property and never made her whole. We got excuses, but no results. They removed a hedge they damaged, but never repaired her broken concrete. I would not recommend them. read more
