Denim Coffee in Chambersburg had been on my list to visit ever since it opened. I am just never in…read morethat area. I finally made it there recently when I met up with a friend. When I first entered this version of Denim Coffee, I was struck by how long it was and the lack of windows compared to the Carlisle and Harrisburg locations. As far as the product goes, same great coffee you get from their other locations. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk. I liked the latte, it was very smooth and the flavor of the coffee was really good. Denim offers other drinks like smoothies and kombucha but I always go for the coffee and cannot vouch for those. They also have a limited menu and some baked goods. Not a lot of vegan food options, if any, so I've never eaten anything from any of the Denim locations. Price wise, you're paying less for these excellent, locally roasted coffee drinks than you would at corporate coffee shops or the local shops you'd find in larger cities. Any time I'm in the vicinity of a Denim and looking for coffee, I make it a point to stop in.

The ceiling tiles are janky..the floors are stained and old..the seating area as you can tell from the pictures is nothing to be desired..at all. The high ceilings gave the shop a light and airy feel. This probably isn't the best place to study or work since the sounds of voices bounce off the walls. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced strawberry fields matcha latte and a blueberry muffin. I think I was accidentally given a mixed berry muffin, but it wasn't a big deal. It was still delicious. The matcha, when I received it, was also very good and I really enjoyed it. My one gripe is that it took 25 minutes to receive my drink. While waiting, I noticed that the two individuals handling the food were rock stars. They got orders out very quickly and efficiently, and I had my muffin in less than five minutes. I also noticed the number of other patrons waiting for long periods of time. People who placed orders after I did received their coffee drinks, so I was confused. When my name was finally called, I noticed that three matcha drinks were ready at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand the barista making the numerous matcha orders at the same time, but the 25-minute wait seemed quite excessive. There was a steady stream of customers, so it was busy, but not insanely busy. Again, I enjoyed everything about River Bottom Roasters except for the long wait for drinks.
