I went for the first time today after a co-worker said the coffee here is better than the nearby choice of Dunkin Donuts coffee. Another co-worker and I mated to find the place which has a small sign on the door and parked in front. Upon parking, Derek came outside and spoke to us. He told us what they had to offer and I chose an Americano and Jackie chose a cold brew with Oat milk and Splenda. Both were really great. After bringing out our coffee, Derek spoke to us about their beginnings a roaster. They have blends and single source selections of coffees. If you work or are in the area I would give them a thumbs up to check them out. They close at 4pm sadly though. Also there is no cafe at the moment with Covid but they will be opening it soon Derek hoped. read more

This is a review of their coffee as I haven't visited their location. I recently purchased a Breville Barista Touch Impress and went searching where to source beans to use with the machine. I always try to start with supporting local roasters first. My search quickly pulled up gracefully coffee roasters being highly rated and recommended. Ordered a bag of their Stickity Stack Espresso Blend. Shipped quickly and arrived the next day. After dialing in this bean, this coffee is one of the few coffees that tasted like how the bean smelled. The notes I got from the bean is what I tasted in the coffee and it made for a great latte and cappuccino. After using that bag up, I ordered their B'more Bold Espresso Blend which is a darker roast. Same result, a great cup of coffee tasting just like how the bean smelled. My taste runs to prefer the bolder taste of the B'more bold blend when making latte's and cappuccino's, but the coffee is fantastic. Found my source on the first try. I will be trying their other coffees once my current supply runs out for drip coffee. read more

You would never know there was a coffee shop here, it's in an industrial park that doesn't seem like there should be an amazing coffee shop inside, but there it! We walked into the small shop and were immediately warmly greeted by the owner, Derek. There are only 4 seats at a small bar where the owner/roaster makes the pour overs, lattes, nitros, and teas. It made for an atmosphere of easy conversation with the owner and the other patrons. We ordered a latte brew of their own creation. It was amazing! So rich and not bitter at all. We ended up buying some of it as beans to take home as well as some Lavender Earl grey tea. read more

I had stumbled across GCR while visiting from out of town. with the few reviews available, I came in with a pretty neutral level of expectation. Immediately greeted by Derek with a warm welcome, I quickly came to realize that i stumbled upon something special. Like others have said, this is a grassroots startup created purely on the passion of two amazing individuals. I've become a fan. Had them for the first tome at Poplar Hall Christmas in Chesapeake City. Thought it was pretty great and grabbed a few bags. We went through the different bags in about 2 weeks. Drove down to their location in Baltimore and got a few more, along with trying various other roasts. While there, we found you you can subscribe and have it mailed to your house! Ordered on New Years day, and I'll be receiving three bags a month for the foreseeable future. Great coffee, awesome people, and an amazing outlook. You've got me hooked. read more

This is the kind of place coffee people dream of. A local, family operated, small-batch roaster. They have the full story for all of their roasts and are as nice as can be. If you can attend a cupping event - do it. I went to one and it was a great experience. You hear about the complexities of coffee tasting and about the process by which coffee makes its way from farm to roaster to cup. They operate a small cafe up front most days so you can hang out and grab a drink with them. read more

The owners are super sweet and helpful! I'm happy to see that they're taking social distancing seriously. I had a latte with the medium roast and it was delicious. Some places use beans that are too fruity for my taste, but this was perfect. They were so kind and gave me my first cup on the house, but I'm definitely going to be back to pick up some beans and more coffee. I'm super excited to have found a local roaster to support and highly recommend stopping by. Don't be confused by the location. It looks like you took a wrong turn at first, but if you look around, you'll see the store sign pretty easily. Also, right now there's no menu because of the curbside ordering process, so I would visit their website and have an idea of what you want before you go, though I'm sure they'd be happy to give you some recommendations. read more

I've been meaning to stop by here for a while but I'm a creature of habit in the mornings so if I want some coffee I usually stop at the usual places like Starbucks or 7/11. This morning I ventured over to Gracefully and was pleasantly surprised at how good my coffee was compared to the "commercial" places I usually go. It's in an office park off of Rolling Rd right before the WaWa so it can be a little tricky to find. Gracefully specializes in wholesale clients and online coffee subscriptions but they serve coffee and tea Monday - Friday until 11am. I'm usually a caramel latte lover but here you won't get the super sweet drinks--it's strictly the basic espresso drinks or pour over coffee. I ordered a latte with the coffee of the day and oat milk, the coffee was so good I surprisingly didn't even need the caramel! Crazy how the quality of the coffee makes such a big difference. One of the owners, Derek made my coffee and told me the 1st cup was on him! He was so nice and knowledgeable and I'm glad I was able to show some support to a local small business. read more

Make the stop! You won't regret it. Here's the thing know this place does not have comfy couches and microwavable sandwiches like some other coffee stops that we met frequent on our way to work but with this place does have is truly incredibly passionate coffee roasters putting their creative juices together to make you one hell of a cup of coffee. This is the least bitter cup of coffee I've ever had. The espresso was rich and creamy and delightful and I got every note singing to me of the chocolate and the Cherry it was just delicious. I had them grind a bag I could take home for French press and I absolutely don't even need to add anything to it it's perfect. So if you're serious about your coffee and want to try something that gives you all of the flavor without any of the bitter remnants that other Roasters may leave behind make a trip to this coffee roaster you won't be sorry. If you're looking for a hoity-toity 6 pumps of sugar to go alongside your coffee this is not your kind of place. Don't get me wrong I'm sure they can make a sweet latte but this is a real coffee roaster for people who like the taste of real coffee. I will definitely be back time and time again I am halfway through my bag that I had him crying the last time and look forward to the next creative flavors I'm going to find on their Shelf. For those of you who have been to other coffee roasters with a wild array of flavors, it's great to have so many options, without fail they have the bitterness to follow. Not this place. Love this place! It's like your corner store coffee shop in the city, but out in the burbs! The coffee shop is in a business park, slightly not so easy to find at first, but well worth it when you do! The coffee is delicious and freshly roasted! If you're really nice they may even offer you a tour of the roasting area! They offer so many different ways to drink your coffee; cappuccino, espresso, latte, etc... and all of the Milks! Their tea is Amazing, especially the earl gray lavender, they making it in house, try it as a London Fog, you will not regret it! I'm smitten with their beans, my family and I went to our local farmers market in Rosedale for our usual goods and saw their stand. We're big on coffee and I was like a kid in a candy store . They offer a wide variety of beans in various roasts and flavor notes, they also have a fantastic selection of teas to choose from ( that's next on my list ). The owners are fantastic, they're very friendly and super helpful if you have questions or can't figure out where to start. I walked away with two bags ( I wanted more lol) , I'm definitely a fan for life . Just tried this place and although I am not a lifelong coffee drinker this was by faaaar the best I've had. Ordered the latte and it was very good. Used to never be able to drink this without sugar or "shots" but this just on its own is very good. Would highly recommend. Just note the hours, they are very limited.
