Handled the suboptimal conditions (mud everywhere, glaring sun, high winds that knocked things down) at the venue with ease and grace. Didn't even know they were there unless they were talking directly to us (stealthy!). Captured so many gorgeous photos and fun candids. They took our preferences into account- we got the types of photos that were important to us (and more!) and they were in the style we hoped for- natural, did not look heavily edited (and if they were you'd never know it!). Shane is a good photographer, but he is very a poor communicator and I would unfortunately not…read morerecommend working with him. Shane shot our reception in Sept, 2025. He was very friendly and easy to work with in person, but working with Shane in the aftermath of our reception was unfortunately incredibly and unnecessarily stressful. Perhaps due to personal circumstances of some kind (?) he ghosted us completely for 6-7 months afterwards. We sent many pleas for and update via text, email, phone, fb, instagram and did not hear anything from him and had begun to believe that the photos did not exist and that we would have no photos from our wedding reception. In April 2026, when we were on the verge of pursuing legal action, we requested our unedited photos from Shane and he shared us the unedited, raw files in full with no apology or explanation for the delay. We were incredibly relieved and, in our opinion, Shane's photography was very good, which makes this review unfortunate to write. We were entitled to a refund for lack of editing services and unmet film quantity, and our refund request has not been met. I'm sharing this review now because I hope that others who have had similar experiences are able to at least retrieve their unedited photos from Shane. We hope that Shane revises how he communicates- most of us are ok with a delay but just want an update and to know our photos exist.
