However, the techniques they taught, like CBT & DBT, couldn't apply to my case......I kept iterate my personal stories to different therapists for a long long time, feeling frustrated and hopeless. I saw a post in a Facebook private group, which asking for the recommendation of a therapist in California. Dr. Joyce is on the recommended list. After reading Dr. Joyce's webpage, I found the statement she wrote touched my heart, and I decide to contact her via the email. Now, I've learned lots of self-caring methods to peacefully coexist with those psychological illnesses. I tried very hard to "treat" those diseases, but forgot they're part of me. For me, it's not about "cure" but about "surrender" and cherish with what I had. I graduated from a world top 10 university and worked for FAANG in the silicon valley with great compensation.
