I reserved both places up here for early July, and this place was a Home Run! I live in Sebago, and had a big family reunion at my new place. I needed someplace close, and made arrangements in mid-April. Debbie worked with me, giving a little flexibility on dates. The place is pretty easy to find, a very nice drive about 16 - 18 minutes from Sebago, up Hancock park road. The area is great in the summer, State park picnics, biking, beautiful breezes on the Naples causeway, with summer places popping out, ice cream, rafts, flip-flops galore The people at Stage Stop House were very welcoming, helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. There were flowers, fresh eggs, muffins, and coffee available. Based upon what my 8 family members, friends said, I will plan another get-together next summer, and Stage Stop House in Denmark Maine will be the first call I make. read more

STAYED HERE RECENTLY: - Pros: Fully furnished. CONS: "Too fully furnished" Too many vases, statues, artificial plants. bric-a-brac, figurines, towels (all types - many old), expired food in cabinets, and disturbing amount of tacky electronic candles. - Pros: Remote location. CONS: Only grocery store is a town away. - Pros: Pets allowed. CONS: Proprietor does NOT require guests to clean up after their dogs. Much feces on property. BE FORWARDED: Owner "Magically appears" and wants to engage in long conversations every time you pull your car into the driveway! - Would definitely recommend "Socially Distancing" AWAY from this place. read more
