Mother Nature seems to have a mind of her own. So when she decided to whip some crazy weather through the Milwaukee area- cracking branches off of mature trees that landed on the roofs of a couple of my properties- I knew it was time to take some action. Enter in Dennis and Son Tree Service. They called me back promptly- I explained the work that I needed done (defensive action against the trees on one roof- and offensive action toward future Mother Nature outbursts by clearing some trees away from the house at another location) Matt (would this be the son of Dennis and son?) told me he'd have an estimate to me later that same day and true to his word it arrived via fax. The price was right- the timing to have the work done- the next day, and he asked for no deposit or anything even though this was all handled over the phone. Told me just to send him a chieck when the work was complete. Love that! My trees were trimmed, offending branches removed and all the debris hauled away. And even better news is that the roof was not damaged by the tree! You can't always anticipate what Mother Nature is going to dole out. Matt and crew trimmed and cleaned up many trees on our property. Excellent job, trees look great. Reasonable price too. What most impressed me is they took care not to damage the many shrubs under the trees. Matt used a rope to lower the bigger 'logs' and not one shrub was damaged, unlike the bigger companies that I've had out. We had had a sickly horse chestnut in the yard that was becoming more of a problem. Limbs were falling and causing harm to the house and worry in our mind. Matt was responsive and professional and kept in communication with me in the process of downing this large specimen. Wow! Is all I can say. We had a huge cracked Box Elder at the back of our property most of which was hanging over into our neighbors yard. They had it down in just a few hours and we're back the next day to haul the big pieces away. It was quite the feat considering our yard is completely fenced in with no good access points. Dennis and Son Tree Service did an exceptional job with the cutting and removal of our birch tree. Our birch was old and decayed. One of the trunks collapsed one evening so we were in need of a tree service that could promptly cut the remaining trunk as we had concerns that it could potentially do some damage to our neighbor's house. I called Matt that same evening and he came out early the next AM to give us a free estimate. Two days later, Matt and his team cut the tree down and did a great job with removal and clean up. We had a 55-60 ft tall Ash tree that split in a storm this winter. It was huge and covered 15-20 ft into two of our neighbors properties. I worked with a girl who's husband had a tree removal service so I immediately called her but they were backed up in their own area and also there's no access for large equipment into our yard unless we were to take/tear down our new(er) garage. And he wasn't that familiar with Milwaukee so he recommended we get a few quotes. So I did. And Dennis & Son (Matt) were the quickest, most professional, reasonable, and (unlike the others) optimistic! I called them back the next morning and the following day they not only completely removed it down to about 2 inches from the ground without any damage but also cleaned our and our neighbors yard on a cold February morning! My Mom asked if I would find someone to come trim the cracked branches on the GIANT willow tree in her back yard while I was visiting her house - in West Allis (she was on vacation). I talked to Matt and he came out the same day to do an estimate which was fair and reasonable! He said he couldn't get to it until early next week and the SAME DAY he called and said he would be here in an hour! Very proffessional guys and they hauled it all away and cleaned up EVERYTHING!
