Good car repair and tire store in Dennis. Had a slow leak in my tire and I called up to see if I need an appointment and he gave me a couple times that day I could come in. The tire HD a couple small pin sized holes and they were patched in 30 min and I was good to go. Nice people. The tire was inflated more than the other 3 and not inflated all the same pressure but it is not leaking any more. read more

I bought it to this vendor, No prices posted or quoted for bringing my own parts , but they charged me much more than their standard labor rate. I paid $175- per hour! I had a flat tire the day before leaving the cape, tried 5 different places in Hyannis- town fair first. No body wanted to help me even to check the tire, which was off the car! Dennis car care said no problem even though they were busy and closing at 1:00, it was 10:30 on a Saturday. Could have easily said I needed a new tire but fixed it instead and installed on my car and put the spare away. If I ever need anything again I will go there, really helpful people not trying to gouge someone from out of state trying to get back home! read more

Long story short these people don't have a clue what they're doing ,when they have to repair anything other than a flat tire.brought my car in for engine light they charged me 650 drove it out same problem .i had made another appointment for my power window so I said take a look at it again when I come back .4 days later after repeated calls they said it was ready I paid them another 950 for the windows and they did nothing about the engine light. they drove the car around and 3 of the windows were down I said to the manager do the windows work he said sometimes must be something electrical.i only had a problem with the drivers side window now my 2 back windows were not working they sent one of their boys out with a iPad and he managed to get the windows up and now I have 3 windows that I can't put down because I m afraid they won't go up again and forget about the engine light problem they gave me another story about that.I really should take them to small claims court.so bottom line paid them 1,650.00 and I got was 3 windows that do not work. It was 12:30 and they explained they would not be able to look at it til 1:00. It was done by 1:15. Was charged a very reasonable price. Terrible. Bad work. Bad customer service. Took a truck in the last week of June. Bought 2 front tires. A few days ago my 17 yo daughter says the front end has a noise. Over a couple of days it's getting worse and so bad we can't drive it. Took it to my mechanic and he tells me the LUG NUTS were loose and the tire is about to come off! I go over to complain. The manager or owner Kevin says things like, what do you want me to do about it? Well the tire didn't come off. And maybe we should buy a lottery ticket because we were lucky. On vacation, you worry about getting taken for a ride, especially when your vehicle is I serious trouble and you need to get your famy back home in a couple of days. In my case after having the sterring rack replaced back home, I knew I needed an alignment. But the car was driving fine so we just headed out on vacation. By the time we hit the cape, the fronts on my outback were completely shot on the outer edges - bits of steel showing through my awesome @nokian tires. Wanting to stick with the Nokians, I searched and found Kevin and Dennis Firestone aka Nolan Car Care Centers in Dennis. From my initial call, I felt I was in good hands. This morning, after driving very gingerly from Wellfleet to Dennis, Kevin and the team really divered a master class in customer service. Friendly, explained everything, put me at ease, shared our appreciation of the relatively unknown but fantastic Nokian tires, and how much the Cape has changed and stayed the same over the past 50+ years. Kevin is now my go to guy on the Cape. Plus, if you get service after 11:30am, you can walk two doors over to Kreme and Kone! I am absolutely appalled at the service offered at the Firestone in West Dennis, MA. Originally my girlfriend came to the Firestone to get my car inspected at the very end of May. We were told that the back light needed to be replaced and would cost $80 for the part, as well as take about a half of a week for the part to arrive. She wasn't sure, so she asked them to wait because she needed my approval. A week later we drove by the Firestone and stopped in and asked them to order the light. They said it would cost $180. Why did the light cost $100 more a week later? They said that whoever had said that was wrong, and that they shouldn't have said that. They shifted the blame to someone else. Fine, we needed the light replaced and our regular mechanic would not do the type of light that we need. I watched as they typed his phone number into the computer, correctly, and told us that they would call us when the light came in. Weeks went by. Three weeks later we called to see what was taking so long. They claimed that they had the wrong number and that the part had come in. During the time we were waiting for them to call us both the left rear directional and the front right headlight went out, so when we scheduled the appointment we asked if they would replace those as well, they said yes. Our appointment was scheduled for ten on 7/17/13. We were told in all it should take about 45 minutes. We arrived twenty minutes early left the car and went across the street to get some coffee. We returned at 10:30 thinking it would be about fifteen minutes. The car was not done until after 11:30. We get the bill $195 for 'lamp' and $90 for labor. We figured the extra $15 was for the other two lights. As we are driving home and use the left directional it is still flashing as if it is broken. When we got home we got out and checked. It had not been fixed. Neither had the front headlamp. I called the Dennis Car Care Center and asked what this was about. Why were we charged $15 more than what we were quoted the second time, and why had the other two lights not been fixed? The man on the phone told us that it 'wasn't him' who told us $180. Once again, shifting the blame. He told me that if I 'was going to be a wise-ass he just wouldn't deal with me'. How dare he speak to me that way. After he had the decency to offer us to drive back to Dennis to get our $15 back. It's easily a 20 minute drive back to the place and it's not solely about the $15 he stole from us. It's about the lack of respect, indecency, and the mentality of trying to nickel and dime us. I am absolutely appalled by the service and am horrified that this has been allowed to continue. I truly hope that no other unsuspecting people receives service from this location unless some major changes are made at this location. I am disgusted by that Firestone would be proud to have their name attached to this establishment. I will not be returning to any Firestone center and I will ensure that no one else I know does as well. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

I have been bringing my Jeep to this establishment for years while on the Cape. After moving back on Cape full time, I have returned, mostly for oil changes, and the staff as well as service remains amazing. I'm very picky with where I take my Wrangler, and I can confidently say that this shop is very trustworthy and that is all I look for in an auto shop. When you get an oil change, they don't pressure you into getting other jobs done to your vehicle where they don't need be performed; unless it is in fact needed or a high concern. This is work experience I have ever had. I had an appointment for my car at 9am. I needed my radiator looked at and my battery and tires. After 2 hours and not hearing anything I called and they had not even looked at my car. Why after 2 hours had no one looked at my car? Another 2 hours later they were just looking at it. My car was there from 9am-5pm. It was the worst experience I have ever had with my car before! DO NOT bring your car here if you want it to actually get fixed. read more

Firestone in Dennis was recommended to me by a friend about 6 years ago who had used them for years who was very impressed by their service. I had had recent bad experiences with other repair shops so was looking for someone I could trust. I have been a very satisfied customer ever since. They worked on my old Elantra regularly as it was at the end of it's life and everything kept breaking down. Their rates were much better than others had charged me, and they took it in last minute before I had to take trips off Cape more than once to make sure it would be able to safely make the trip. When I was shopping for a new car and couldn't find anything and decided to keep putting money into my old car they wouldn't take it-they felt I'd be spending money that wasn't worth it and the car just wasn't worth fixing anymore. Most shops would have taken the $2000 and done it anyway. They checked out the new cars I found, found major issues with one, and helped me to avoid a big mistake.
