Since we hired the entire crew for our wedding day (photography, DJ, and videography), I wanted to review each of them and highlight what we loved! First, Katrina and Mark are quite the power couple in photography! They were creative, thoughtful, and detail oriented in their shots. My husband and I are not professional models, and so like most normal people, we can be awkward in front of the camera and don't know how to pose. Katrina was excellent at giving directions to make the pose look good but still feel natural as well as keeping us feeling comfortable and relaxed. Furthermore, my husband and I got married in Baltimore, Maryland so it was a destination wedding and a new location/venue for the team. Katrina and Mark went above and beyond our expectations and the day before our wedding went out and scouted beautiful places to capture photos on our wedding day. This helped things go smoothly the day of and helped put my mind at ease. Secondly, Love Is All You Need's DJ, Jake is the man you want playing at your wedding! Jake has high energy and is able to keep the party going all night long! He can read the room and seamlessly transition songs. In addition, Jake will help you through the wedding planning process. My husband and I felt lost at picking out music for our ceremony and reception, but Jake eased our minds and helped us pick out songs for all of our important moments and provide honest feedback based on his years of DJ experience. This was extremely helpful to have, and we greatly appreciate all of his guidance. Last but not least, Ryan on videography was fantastic! He worked flawlessly with Katrina and Mark, and they communicated openly and efficiently on the shots that they were getting. Their collaborative approach helped ensure that no shot was forgotten. Ryan also takes drone footage for videography and photography, which was so much fun to work with! Overall, the entire team consists of some of the most generous and kind individuals I have ever met. Not only are they all extremely professional, but also personable, which makes working with them an absolute pleasure and an honor. From the moment we inquired to them, they had been extremely responsive and friendly. We met with them in their beautiful and professional studio. They immediately made us feel at home and welcome. It was an easy choice from that minute forward and I have never been more thankful to have them on our vendor team. We set up our engagement photoshoot and while the weather was not super cooperative they were quick to come up with ideas to make the most of it. The engagement photos came out amazing. They were everything I could have asked for and more! Leading up to the wedding Katrina was available at all times to answer my questions and reassure me of things that I already knew. She was always there to listen and give input no matter how crazy or unrelated the conversation was. She was my saving grace and kept me calm cool and collective all day and the entire time leading up to the wedding. Katrina cares so much for her brides and will do anything to ensure the day goes by smoothly and that it is the most amazing day each and every time. She has the best ideas and is always willing to get the shot no matter how difficult it may be. Hiring Katrina and Mark was more than just hiring a vendor for a wedding, we were hiring a couple that we will be friends with for many many years to come. They are remarkable at their job, but even more remarkable people inside and out. Ted and Rachel Linczak are awesome. Just awesome…read more When my fiance (now wife) told me that we were going to have engagement pictures taken, I couldn't believe it. I was already unexcited about wedding pictures, and now we are having engagement pictures? You have got to be kidding me. Ah, but a few minutes after getting started with Ted and Rachel, I was having a blast. More important, so was my wife, who hates to be in front of a camera. The pictures Ted and Rachel took were absolutely stunning. I can't come close to conveying in this review how impressed all of our friends and family were with their results. It was almost insulting at times... "wow they made you guys like so GOOD!" Huh... But in all seriousness, they did things that we couldn't have imagined them doing. All the while, to our untrained ears, their requests sounded so strange. "Whisper something funny in her ear. Lean your hips in really far and bend your back uncomfortably backward. Say something dirty." Each of these commands resulted in a unique picture that we will value forever. Many wedding photographers charge an arm and a leg for very high quality, professional portraits and snapshots. The Linczaks compose every shot and coax priceless expressions from their clients. Our wedding day pictures were even more amazing. And, just as amazing as their photography work was what they did for us during our reception. Between dinner and dessert, they set up a giant projector and showed a 3-4 minute slide show of some of the best pictures they got EARLIER THAT DAY! The amount of "ooohs" and "aaahs" from our guests was staggering. They were amazed that we had been to so many places and that some of these places resulted in such dramatic pictures. Some of the places we went seemed really strange and unusual, but they just worked. In front of a loading dock door... in a cramped and dirty side entrance to a downtown building... midway up a fire escape... the front door of city hall... we even climbed into the window frame of the Cleveland Department of Education building, which was covered in thick ivy that had turned orange and red for the season. One of our best shots was of us walking hand in hand up the brick section of Main Avenue under the Shoreway bridge. We were lucky that everything went smoothly for our wedding, but the photography was more than smooth. It was positively jaw-droppingly good.

When we were trying to meet with them to discuss things about the wedding, before and after the wedding, it took them a week or 2 to get back to us about when to meet and discuss things like the agenda and our corrections to our final album. This can be an annoyance to some...especially brides. Lol. Other than that, though they did a great job. They were very professional, punctual and made our pictures look fabulous. Wow! Larry Spencer was absolutely amazing. You get so much more than what you pay for when you work…read morewith Larry. He was worth every penny (and then some). He spends hours with you in consultation so that he gets the exact look that you want. He did our engagement pictures, my solo bridal shoot just days before the wedding, and our wedding pictures. The photos are absolutely stunning. He just captured the emotion of the day so well. He truly is an artist and he has mastered this craft. I have had countless family members and friends ask who did our photography because they are so impressed by his work. Not only is his work beautiful, but he is great to work with. His presence just puts you at ease. He will hustle to get the perfect shot (including taking pics in the pouring rain, laying on the ground, in the middle of the street). He helped us develop our day-of timeline which made the day go smoothly. He is quick with communication and he was able to get us all of our wedding photos just 1 week after the wedding, which is unheard of in this line of work. I could not recommend him more highly. We saw her work-- and we immediately had to book her for our engagement session. I had been looking at different photographers in the Cleveland area for a while to do our engagement session (our actually wedding was in CA), and honestly, we wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for Marisa. My husband and I are both pretty awkward and stiff in front of the camera, esp if the focus is on us. However, the day of the photo shoot, she was easy and fun to work with. She was able to direct and guide us during the session. We trusted her vision and expertise, and let her guide us in terms of location and awkward position and postures..lol, and it turned out nicely. Marisa has a natural and creative eye for photography. We loved her photography style! Our photos were so beautiful, yet organic. She is very professional and there's something about her that's light hearted and puts you at ease... too bad we didn't know of her earlier-- wouldn't mind her documenting our wedding day. LOVED her so much, I booked a boudoir session with her a couple weeks before the wedding. The husband loved them too =) She worked with my crazy schedule and was able to produce him a tangible product for the wedding day! She is amazing.. and you will not be disappointed.

I had a terrible experience with Kristin Piteo Photography. My already stressful and heartbreaking…read moreexperience of having to reschedule my wedding due to Covid now comes with a painful reminder every time I look at my wedding pictures. I hired Kristin Piteo in late 2019 and scheduled my wedding for November 2020, but I had to move everything 3 weeks prior due to a new Covid curfew imposed by the state of Ohio. My new wedding date was scheduled for May 2021. Kristin informed me that she was unavailable to personally shoot my wedding and would send another photographer in her place, but I would have to pay an additional $324 (on top of the $3,600 + tax already paid) due to her "2021 price increase". She would not refund anything already paid, either, thus forcing us to continue with the contract rather than seek a new photographer since the budgeted funds were already spent. Kristin assured me that the new photographer was of equal caliber and experience as her and I trusted her expertise. It was quickly apparent on my wedding day that the main photographer was not very experienced, evidenced by how few photos she took and her lack of confidence and direction. I have no photos of the groomsmen getting ready, because the 2nd photographer was late arriving to the house. It took a long time to receive my final edited photos, and I got them after the album for a wedding that occurred a couple of weeks after mine were posted to her website. I was immediately disappointed with the quality and quantity of the photos. Kristin tried to blame it on the fact that I didn't download the high res files, but this did not explain why several pictures had mistakes such as eyes closed, etc. It was obvious that Kristin knew the quality was poor when she refused to post any on her company's Instagram page claiming she doesn't post other photographers work, even though this was the work of "Kristin Piteo Photography" per the contract we both signed. When I pushed further, she offered a $500 refund and new filters and also claimed that our wedding party was drunk and difficult to work with, per the photographer she sent in her place. This is impossible considering my church is very conservative and would have refused to marry us. I was so offended and upset by these comments and refusal to take ownership that I never responded. Now I can't look at my pictures without getting upset and can't put any on my wall. I am so happy for the couples whose wedding pictures done by Kristin Piteo Photography came out stunning and artistic, but am heartbroken that mine are so bad, even though I paid the same fees. This review is not about tarnishing anyone's brand or image. It is an honest retelling of my experience. While Kristin claims to treat every wedding with the utmost care and professionalism, mine felt very much like an afterthought and a burden. I understand that vendors need to make a living and I am more than willing to pay a fair price for good work, but we also worked hard for every dollar in our budget, so we felt like we were being taken advantage of when we received neither a partial refund to hire a different photographer, nor an end product that was commensurate with what we paid for. I also felt like there was a lack of sensitivity for what I was going through as a Covid bride, whereas other vendors were far more accommodating and understanding. Of course I would much rather be looking at beautiful wedding photos than to be posting this bad review.

Our wedding was canceled due to the rise in Covid-19 variant cases in Stark County, Ohio which was the location of our event. We asked for a refund. Kristin Piteo's contract states "There shall be NO refund of retainer after signing of agreement due...If the event is cancelled within six months of the date, the client shall pay the balance of the contract...Once a balance is paid, it is NON-REFUNDABLE". All of our wedding vendors except for Kristin fully refunded us due to the uncertain times of Covid-19 despite their contracts stating otherwise. Kristin proceeds to agree to scheduling a shoot with us since she would not refund the $936 deposit, we were extremely excited and grateful since her contract does not state any exchanges of services for deposits. After many months of trying to schedule with her, she was never able to give us a date that she was available despite emailing her on various occasions. My experience with Kristin is that she isn't willing to satisfy paying clients and I wish we would have had a good experience based on her reviews.

She is detail oriented, professional, personable, authentic and has a wonderful personality. People kept telling me before the wedding that things will go wrong on the day of your wedding but Megan was not going to let that happen for the ceremony. When I arrived at the venue Megan had pulled me aside with concerns around the ceremony stage as our flowers were placed with little room left for my wedding dress train. She took control, consulted a friend and already had a solution in place to moved the arrangements around *THIS is what going above and beyond looks like and it doesn't stop there. The florist was waiting for the rest of the wedding party to arrive so they could place the boutonnieres and hand out the corsages but Megan could sense the florist was a bit overwhelmed and jumped right in taking charge letting the florist know it would be no hassle at all for her to take the flowers and pass out/pin herself. During our family portraits Megan had found my husband and I to deliver us our specialty cocktails (which were much needed at this point haha). There are so many other small details I am missing from the phone meetings, vow review beforehand, handling our very loud wedding party during rehearsal and before the wedding ceremony. As for the most important part of the day... the ceremony. The words she read really hit home when you are standing up there ready to say I do and she spoke with such grace it was absolutely beautiful. IF you are between officiants this is YOUR review telling you to book Megan. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for being there for us in every way on our special day!

Megan was able to perform our ceremony very efficiently knowing that we did not want a lengthy process (and were already wedded). We completed the entire condensed ceremony and papers hassle-free and in one sitting. She charges a really competitive price as well (the best I found after inquiring multiple officiants on Yelp).
