The finished patio and fire pit look great, and we're very happy with the final result as it's been a beautiful addition to our outdoor area. However, getting there came with several challenges that made the experience frustrating. The biggest issue was communication. Our project timeline changed multiple times, but we almost always had to reach out for updates ourselves when there'd be a day or two where no one would show up at the home, without any notice. We didn't mind if the project took longer, but we were the ones asking. Another major issue occurred when one of her contractors drove a truck through our backyard during a snowstorm. The truck became stuck, damaging both our yard and our neighbor's yard (which they repaired). Afterward, we asked no vehicles be driven through our backyard again, and one worker complained directly to us that this was inconvenient for him. When the crew said the project was complete (via Evelyn), we still found numerous minor imperfections throughout the patio that needed to be corrected. Evelyn came out and saw those issues, and then they addressed them. Since installation, we've also had warranty issues. Several pavers cracked within the first year. Although covered under the lifetime warranty, it took nearly a month and multiple follow-ups to get them repaired. One of the wooden landscape borders has also shifted, creating a trip hazard. Evelyn agreed it should be fixed at no charge, but despite several requests and "I'll get back to you's", we're still waiting for the repair to be scheduled. At this point, I've given up and would rather hire someone else (and pay the money) to have it fixed. Overall, the craftsmanship of the patio and fire pit is very nice, but the communication, project management, and follow-through on warranty work left a lot to be desired. Several neighbors asked us for Evelyn's business card after seeing the finished project, but because of our overall experience, we chose not to recommend her. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because with better communication and customer service, the experience could match the quality of the finished product.

We put in a circle drive, fire pit, and bocce ball court, all with stone from stone center. It seems they treat there employees right as faces seem to stay the same. Always on time deliveries and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Outdoor stone projects are on display now throughout the yard, so you can walk on different stone options. I have a smaller truck and cannot always get the whole load in one trip, but they allow me to come back as many times as it takes. They really know how to work with you here and make you feel like coming back for more rock.

Our family had an incredibly disappointing experience with Worthington. I feel it's necessary to…read morewarn other people about this company before they entrust thousands of dollars and their home renovation to this company. We're converting attic space into an additional bedroom and approached Worthington in July in hopes that they might be the right company to bring the project to fruition. They pitched themselves as a white glove service that would handle all aspects and coordination of the project from tip to tail in a timely manner. We were willing to pay a premium for that service which is why we were so alarmed when right off the bat it seemed we had to push to get anything done, even getting an updated contract for a feasibility study took over two weeks. Once we signed the contract and paid for the study it took numerous points of contact and more than two weeks before we were informed when the study would be completed, without even checking with us to see if we were available. In the midst of all this chaos we decided to go with another company that was more proactive and communicative. We informed Worthington that because of all of these difficulties we weren't moving forward with the study and politely requested a refund for the study that was never completed. The designer we worked with was apologetic and agreed that a refund was acceptable given the fact that the study hadn't been completed and her lack of responsiveness. After a week went by without a refund or any communication, we reached out again only to have an extremely rude woman tell us that there will be no refund for the incomplete study and accepted zero responsibility for our disappointing experience. The disrespect she showed our family during this conversation was shocking and has no place in a conversation with any customer. If this is the way Worthington does business, we consider ourselves lucky to have only lost the initial fee instead of paying a massive premium for a lengthy and frustrating home renovation experience.
