The installers assured my husband "it will smooth itself out. Just give it a few months." We're a year later and my living room carpet is WORSE than the first day of install. Update: we called the store and they returned to our home to take corrective action. I appreciate that they were responsive when we complained, and made arrangements to correct the situation. The installer readjusted and re-stretched the carpet so that all of the large "tents" or peaks in the room have been laid flat again. I'm cautiously optimistic that the carpet will remain flat or that the store will return again to make it right should they issue recur. Updated the starred portion of the review to reflect the store's responsive manner once they understood the gravity of the concern. Will update the review further

Decided to embrace the extra flooring... wasn't going to let a $250 box of flooring go to waste.... started researching where to purchase additional flooring, as I wasn't going back to Blair Mill, and discovered their mark up on the flooring was nearly 100%!!!!!!! Got the SAME flooring from YBC for $138.00 per box!!!! They lost ALLLLLL my business and my family's!!!
