I don't have a before picture but just imagine dry scratches on the sides & straps. Super neglected, I needed help. And boy did I receive help. I prepaid a reasonable price for the service agreed to, and we set a convenient day for pickup. I'm a happy customer. That's Frank's Summit Shoe Shop! I have been going to Frank's off and on for years since I live in the Dunleath historic neighborhood. I love this place. You walk in and you are literally stepping back in time, in the best possible way. Frank, who is the owner, not only runs the place, but does the majority of the work. He can do anything. Resole your shoes, give you a new heel, fix a broken zipper or polish your boots. Not only does he do all repairs, but one of my favorite features of this store is that he sells used shoes and boots in great condition, which is why I went there the other day!. I bought a pair of black boots from him about a decade ago when I was doing Fiddler on the Roof. They look great and the price was excellent but at this point they are a bit stiff and hard on my feet. So, I stopped by Frank's the other day to see if he might have a different pair in that I am performing again in Fiddler on the Roof and we open this week! As if God had sent me to Frank's, there they were. A pair of brown comfortable boots. That would be perfect for my character in the show, and boy did they feel good on my feet.
