Gene restored the front end of my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid when I'd bought it from a dealer and it had an undisclosed accident. He worked with me to stay within my budget and communicated every step of the way. When I was ready to have more work to restore it a year later, he didn't hesitate, staying in my budget. When the car had mechanical issues that were outside his scope? He referred me to his dad's garage up the way who treated me just as kindly and helpfully. This year I brought him my moms old Suzuki after she got in a fender bender. He searched high and low for comparable parts (they weren't made anymore) and did a fantastic job and kept things in budget. Can not recommend Gene and his crew highly enough. Unfortunately parts for my coach are hard, if not impossible, to obtain now. Tim and his crew did a wonderful job at fabricating the needed parts and blending them into the existing surfaces. In a rather strange turn of events my neighbor also suffered similar damage to his coach and chose to take his rig to a different body shop for repairs. The results could not have been more night and day. The work that was done by the other shop was shoddy at best. ( I had them quote my repair, and the prices were nearly identical ) All body shops are not created equal. I am so glad I chose Independence.

Terrible brand new car 200 miles and they didn't get to the windshield Thursday when I picked it…read moreup. Left glue way up on the dash under the windshield where I can't get to it. Broken razor piece in my drive door handle, cleaner all over my dash and windows that dried on. Visible glue on one window emblem slight imperfection on the rear window right in my view from the mirror by the brake light. Snotty looking glue dripping onto my ac knob. My left blinker would not stop running properly the whole day after I picked it up. And, they threw away my temp tag so I've been driving without it till. Now as I just realized it. Tried contacting 3 ways immediately after picking up but they closed early and finally respond to messenger. Says they'll take care of it tuesday when they are open. No call Tuesday. I called today no apology just excuses and uncaring attitude. No offer to get my windshield done soon no offer of a detail or discount for the mess they left me. Just I can do the windshield sometime go ahead and schedule it. Just blaming the other employees after he left for the dentist. Definitely wish I had gone elsewhere.
