Dr. Lucas explains what he is going to do, there is little to no wait time, and he is just a great guy that happens to be a great dentist. With Dr. Lucas and his assistant's demeanor, I'd also highly recommend him for children. Also, if you are a person that is concerned about dentists using possible toxic materials in their teeth. Rest easy. Dr. Lucas uses none of that stuff. I love his staff as well! Shout out to Miss Faye who has cleaned my teeth my entire life. She watched me grow up, and I love her to pieces. Wait times are terribly long when I found a clinic that im glad gives me my meds without so many questions, hassle and tried degree. They never sent the referrals me and my kid needed or helped me sleep after months trying to get somewhere they kept were no help. The nurse talks to much for Katy all about herself. News flash we are here for our concerns not yours. I'm glad youre wealthy and can afford brand new clothes. Nobody cares. They make you wait god awfully long and do very little. Nurse states it would be rechecked per protocol. 2 hours later I caught her sitting outside the room studying not monitoring the blood sugar. The nurse replied the aid is going to check it. I responded, it's your job to make sure it's done. Next the house supervisor came up with some weird rules, and threatened to ban us from the hospital.

In this day and age, he is a doctor who still stops to actually talk to the patient. Though the office wait can sometimes be frustrating, that's a small price to pay for the undivided attention he provides during the office visit. The office staff has always been helpful and while scheduling a routine physical might take a month/two out, they will work you in immediately if you are experiencing a real health issue. I have found his knowledge of arthritis, fibromyalgia and polyarthralgia are exceptional and his ability to diagnose other health issues "right on". His waiting room is filled with people who have been patients for YEARS and would never think to go elsewhere. It's a blessing to find such an educated, informed, caring and dedicated doctor.

The wait time is the reason for the second star drop. If I have an appointment for my child at 1:30 P.M. I should not be waiting until 3:00 P.M. or later for said child to be seen. Care is amazing, office and waiting area are clean, and the doctors (we've seen 2 at this office Dr. Lindsey until she left and now Dr. Carstens) are pretty top notch with the children. If you can get past the subpar front desk/receptionists and overly extensive wait time I would recommend to anyone.
