In fact, nobody even called me to ask what happened. That seemed weird. If a patient who had been coming there for years gets up and walks out, you'd think they might want to know why. I guess the patient is the only one in this relationship who is expected to be on time. Why make appointments if they expect you to sit and wait? I never had to wait for them like this before. Ever.

My first experience was good, mostly because of a dental assistant named "Francis" who was kind, understood my phobia for needles and dentists. It's a shame his staff and office aren't reflective of Francis and Dr. Facer. There are other, more consistent dental experiences to be had in SLC than this one. Dig deeper to find one who actually sees you as a human, not a wallet for them to reach into.

He treated me for a follow up without charge almost a year later and when we did end doing an apicoectomy I felt like I was in the best hands. I barely felt the numbing needles, his technique is so on point! Go see him before you pull any teeth, or go the implant route or if you need a root canal.. he's the best!!

Dr. Sonnenberg took time to look at my tooth, confirm the diagnosis and get great images. He reviewed the plan with me and was extremely through and patient. You can tell he has done about a million root canals because I was comfortable the entire time. I was so nervous going in but the whole experience put me at ease. Well I went to my regular dentist because an implant needs a crown and come to find out Dr. VanDenBurghe left a piece of rubber in my jawbone that will be there forever. I will not be having them do my implant or any other work again. The only thing they have going for them is how nice of people they are. Front desk is Amazing and the doctors are so friendly. The work they do is not top tier so if you're looking for a one time trip for a problem tooth this would not be the spot for you. If you like nice people and going in for multiple visits to have work done on a single tooth this is the place! 2 stars for being so nice and always same day visits are available. Extra information to know is they do not offer any pain management so Tylenol and ibuprofen is all you get. Hopefully you're lucky enough to not need pain medication because they will not give you any no matter the circumstance.

I'm so grateful I came here for my root canal. Dr Thomson double check which tooth it was before starting. He even called me the next day to see how I was doing. I really appreciated that. They had me pay a deposit, but made it clear that the balance due would be dependent on how much my insurance covered. Since I was working with both my regular dentist and Utah Endo it was probable that I would max my available annual balance from my dental insurance. This is the first time I've seen an endodontist, I don't know what 'normal' fees from an endodontist are, BUT, they are worth every penny. I do not fee overcharged.
